Creating my first capsule wardrobe really helped me to hone in on my personal style. It also helped me to see what items I didn't really wear or need in my wardrobe.

I have already a capsule wardrobe, based on navy, white, black. For me less is more and quality wins against trends.
Do U feel like maybe adding beige/camel/brown tones into your capsule wardrobe? This tone would go very well with all your black, navy and whites.
when i was in philippines and watching this kind of clothing essential videos and i wasted so much money on
outerwear and knits when its clearly too hot 😅😂 and now i live in japan and even at home i wear my puffer jackets. what a twist

Great advice Emily, especially about not focusing on a number at first. I’ve decided to store away my wardrobe depending on the season in order to cull what I didn’t wear or clothes that have seen better days. I haven’t done it because I have a decent size walk-in wardrobe, and weather changes aren’t drastic in Western Australia, but I do find my wardrobe overwhelming. I also get bored of clothes, so this is a good way of feeling like I’m introducing new items back into my wardrobe I have seen for six months. Hopefully it will stop me wanting to clear everything out and start again, which isn’t sustainable at all. I just find it hard to get rid of clothes, especially if I paid a lot of money for them or they were a bad shopping decision. Selling my good clothes online is so time consuming - I need to get better at doing it more regularly. 💕
