I was looking for a lightweight blower for my deck. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxgioZQl3J5wPGAeDINzbieKbT5qomSEx3 There are some huge trees around my house and the leaves and pods drop all over my deck. Having to move furniture around to sweep has become too big a chore. This blower was the answer. It is light enough for this 70yr old lady and powerful enough to blow all the tree droppings off my rather large deck. Thank you B&D. Be aware the cord is not included. I use a 3 prong outdoor cord 25' cord for my 12' x 20' deck. The cord retainer works very well, but don't try to pass the plug through it. That is NOT how it works. You just have to loop the cord and it works great. One of my best purchases. Very happy.
As a carpenter I usually blow sawdust off with air compressor for my nail guns. I bought this tool and it’s very much worth it. Far higher volume and continuous air flow from this blower make clean up way faster and more thorough yet it’s not a cumbersome tool at all. I don’t like the high pitch squeal the motor makes at low revs and at full power it leaves my ears ringing so use HP. Overall no question it’s a great add to my Makita collection.
I learnt the hard way ...never insert the battery into the charger while it is warm/hot ... or run the battery completely flat using the blower ...the newer makita machines do have a star on the machine... the catch is the pc board pops when you attempt to charge the battery ...then it is dead... there are many yotube videos on how to replace the pc board ... i just remove the 10 battery cells and use them for torches and stuff.
If i could like it twice I would ! 😆👌🏼 Great review . I am a chainsaw carver & this guy absolutely saves me ! Me & tools can be saw dust free in no time! Highly recommend. Ps my 3 strength battery lasted me an entire day of dusting me & tools .
That hair bit was funny. I use it on lowest setting to blow on a campfire that needs to be brought back to life. You mentioned using it as a vacuum, but I can't see where the stuff goes that you suck up?
I’d want nothing less than a full-out landscaping leaf blower if I had to dry off a car. But this would be great for cleaning out the engine bay, especially because it’s small, lightweight and easy to maneuver.

Great demonstration video. Especially when you extend the usage beyond manufacturer's creation purposes 😅

he have button for aspiring ??
@@itsoverlord I think you can attach a hose to the air intake. Most blowers like this one can do that.

thanks for that info
It is stronger than I thought. I think it would be perfect to dry my motorcycle after a wash. I’ll buy one soon.
Thanks for the review.
Good review. Wish more people covered Makita like you do
Funny, I was going to get one to blow leaves out of my BMW engine bay and then your first test was exactly that. Thanks!

Is it good for blowing of water drops after a car wash ?.
not really unless you keen for a workout. ua-cam.com/video/_YVG5cSPIAM/v-deo.html
The question is: can I dry my car with it after washing it?
good question, ill try it

Does it shred the leaves when you vakuum them? Is it possible to vacuum leaves at all?
it can vacuum. Not powerful though
Ok for drying your car?
i must still test that.
