With Shad on the bite here on the south coast of South Africa, I've decided to make a tutorial on making a shad ground trace for shad fishing. Hope you guys enjoy.
Thanks for an easy to follow video on making a shad trace . Now that the shad are on the bite at most popular fishing spots this information will be quite handy for those fishermen who want to make their own traces , as opposed to buying them . Keep the videos coming.

Thanks for another great informative video bro. I use whatever you make 😂. Best traces I’ve ever fished with. Caught quite a big shad with one of your drift traces and the trace was still perfectly intact. The thin wire traces you buy in the stores are usually mangled after hooking a couple of fish.

Can this trace be used on the surf
Yes it can, I have successfully caught shad on the surf with this trace
@@southcoastfishingadventure3098 do u think a sliding sinker trace or fixed 3 way swivel trace is better on a surf for shad
@@anileron2329 good question, it all depends on where in the water column the shad are feeding. The sliding sinker I use on a drift trace, three way swivel is used on a ground trace as seen in this video.
