That long que was because of me getting stuck under my bike lol. I was at the bottom on the left and I hadn't done anything like this in over 26 yrs when I was a lot younger lol
Wow the Himi, You should do a lot more content on this bike, it's really surprising, I've seen the modifications they've made to it in India, and it's amazing, the end result is a 47 hp bike, with 162 kg dry, a complete beast.
Great video! It was really nice to see a Himi being flogged and doing very well and especially to hear you say good things about the bike even though it is not designed as a dual sport much less an enduro bike. I'm sub'd now because of this video. Thanks!
It's crazy that you actually won with the himi along size bikes like KTM. I'm actually impressed by how good that himi is. Might consider getting myself one now.
Chris,, you're enthusiasm and approach to riding is a huge motivator for me. Thank you my friend!! I'm in upstate NY buried under snow, and watched your previous bmw debacle, and decided to slip on some proper tires, fire up my triumph tiger 800Xc. And hit some trails and explore some dirt/snow roads best I could.. Had a great time!!
I recently found this channel and I am glad I did. I am a relatively new motorcyclist and am very thankful to all the advices this channel provides. So thanks guys.
amazing riding on your part ! I think you won the big cylinder class as well , really felt the pain when you came off , what an amazing performance from the himalayon as well , great move chanking the wheels , where they specially built for you ? or what where they off ? All the very best for your next events
I bet you’re a laugh a minute in the pub with your mates, thinking who will I pick on next. No biker likes to see a company go down, but I bet you have never ridden a bike except one with stabilisers 😂
@@petewatson9866 You could not be more wrong on all 3 points. There have been literally hundreds of comments on various videos by KTM owners who have been screwed by KTM. Many. are happy to see KTM go under. I have never seen stabilisers that will fit either of my 2 Ducatis or my Aprilia so I guess I will continue to ride without them.
you are fine winning that class. the weight is similar which matters more than the CC of the engine. realistically you went faster on a bike with smaller engine and just as heavy.
Chris awesome to see you properly use/abuse this small mountain goat of Royal Enfield Himalayan 🤩🤩🤟🤟🤟 Can't wait to see what you are doing next, maybe road trip to India and Himalayas 😅😊
Wonder what it would be like with a 17 inch front wheel to make it into a Supermoto? Its great as it is on the mountain roads, but sure it eoud improve it . I'd love to do it to mine, but changing anything from stanard on a bike here in Spain is nigh on impossible. Or extremely expensive! Keep on thrashing the Himalayan, love to see them used over and above whst was intended!
If the cut off for single cylinder bikes were 675cc, weren't you under it Chris? and won't that make you legal to race on the 450 single? Or is it that they require all the singles to be of the same CC class? I didn't understand that.
@@abstractspaces8186I disagree.. the Himmy is NOT an enduro machine. I understand Chris’s reasoning, but c’mon. Those big enduro bikes were beaten by (an exceptional) rider on a ‘cheap’ 454cc adventure bike! Well done Chris!
@leslieaustin151 It's not really a matter of opinion, the rules are based on engine size. I agree that the Himalayan fits better into the adventure class but it's not up to us.
@@leslieaustin151That also makes sense. coz if the 675cc class had a winner with a 450cc engine, it can't be called unfair or partial towards a smaller cc bike, or does it?
No, we don't get paid by Royal Enfield, the marketing guys don't even know what's going on and Chris' relationship is with the engineering department, they don't have any money! 😂

Love the Himy but but i think your riding skills and experience are the dominating factor here. Great stuff.
I love the enthusiasm Chris, still burning bright!

Thanks Chris, really enjoy your work, such an honest gesture on the classification 👍
Love your videos Chris. Love your enthusiasm and the enjoyment you find riding anything with two wheels, not just the latest, hottest model.
@06:10 is iconic! Great video, that looks like brilliant chaos
Really loving this type of content !
Keep it up lads !
So your bike is heavier than than the 690 enduro and has maybe 30hp less but it's an iffy win? No chance! That's a superb win.
Fantastic!! love the video!
Insanely refreshingly bloody bonkers! Always look forward to the notification that youve posted again. What a fun day out! BTW, where did Neil come??
Love your work mate! So genuine
'Keep the RE flying', sounds like a new song, possibly not! Well done Sir!

congrratulations on being an honorable and fair competitor.
love from spain.

Off to Marrakesh in a couple of weeks with my boy. Hiring a couple of himmies. Looking forward to seeing how they ride. Great content thanks!
Fantastic, many thanks
Great vid. Mine has been great off and on road, especially with ax41s. I'll never touch this level with it, but its good knowing it can.

Chris, please can i have details of your 18inch rear wheel as i plan to do the same off road events too 😊 excellent episode 👏
Nice!!!! the Excel rims with an 18 inch rear made me dribble, how where do I get a set with the hub, brakes fitted etc?
Brilliant loved that 👍 so if somebody says do you want a dirty weekend in Wales !!!!!!!

Another nail in the coffin for KTM. A Royal Enfield Himalayan beats a field full of KTM 690 Enduro bikes in an Enduro Race. Love it!!!! 🤣🤣🤣

Seems like good fun! Im a road rider but wouldn't mind a 250 cc dual sport in the garage do 😛
Top man Chris
Great job Chris. :)
Awesome! I’d have done it on my 400X, wouldn’t have been suitable either really, but what the hell! Looks ace fun!
Chris turns up on anything you know your going backwards in the rankings 😂😂
Great video and the Himi looks ace with the enduro wheels.
You won. You lost. You had fun, so you Won.

Top video. The 450 can take a beating. Any notes on the replacement wheels? Custom Made?

These last few videos have been right up my alley. Keep em coming! Really enjoy it
Brilliant result Chris, Himmi in a 450 enduro class 🤔 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Putting it through it's paces 🫡👌🍻
Replace the track with I90/94 and the bikes for clapped out Nissans’ and Chevy’s and it looks identical to my commute to die town Chicago everyday 😊.
Can you list your mods in the description or make an entire video on the mods?
Skills and experience over gear and brands.
Or, as we Americans say, "it's the shooter, not the gun that matters most."
Where did the Beemer finish?
how you manage with the front Abs on ?

I think he was too small for the big single class, he should have been in the enduro class.

Sheer madness! Are you still giving feedback to RE after pushing the bike so far out of its comfort zone?
what was needed to change to a 18" ?
whats happened to the Kove ?
Every time I see a video like this praising the 450 makes me feel great about my purchase. I love my Himi 450. Please post more content when you can !
Any chance for some raw racing footage? Please.
This is the bike I bought. I am now waaay less scared to give her what for after watching this.
👏🏽💪🏼😎
Video idea:
Ride the Himy a couple hundred miles to an enduro race, change the tires, race, change the tires, ride back home. 😏
How whas Dean's (Harrison's) race ??!?! He was there
So funny to see you not queuing. This is a race not a Que at the drive through, get out of the way, I’m coming through.
In these days of bullshit your clarin call of what actually matters, enjoying riding motorcycles in all conditions, thank you.
BOLT is ''the'' man
You`re mad - note to self, do not buy one of Chris`s bikes!!! Keep it up, first class entertainment.
Mohit Chikara
I feel bad for the 450 guys being overtaken by the himalayan
Wondering if u getting paid by Royal Enfield for this videos ?
No, we don't get paid by Royal Enfield, the marketing guys don't even know what's going on and Chris' relationship is with the engineering department, they don't have any money! 😂
So winning the race is paid 😂😂
