Brilliant running example of the Plasma Edge. I very much like new body work as well. Seems a perfect blend of Form, Function, and Nonsense. Great fun indeed!
I considered it a huge success, when one can run an entire battery down without breaking something. Now, if I can run my sand scorcher thru a whole battery without rolling it and having semi heart attacks, well that's the best day ever 🎉
@@RCsoandsoI had moment the other night, and purchased an aluminum chassis for mine. I know it'll still be a sand scorcher, but hopefully it takes some of the cringiness away. 😅
It ran great out at both locations. You guys have had a run of bad luck this year with electrical gremlins for sure. It is about time move on and bother someone else for a change. I am not volunteering but you have had you fair share already! I am glad to hear the sudden stop at the beach was just from a dead battery!
First rule of rc mechanics- When your car just randomly stops, give it a good shake and turn it off/back on again! 😅 Definitely been there. Jokes aside, overheating is a real issue these days....something ive experienced a few times recently. I think a lot of it is as a result of longer run times. Back in the day i used to run some very powerful brushed motors, but the nicads used to be only 1200 mah, which gave about 5 minutes run time max. We are now spoilt with 4500+ mah packs that give us 15-25 minutes driving even with powerful motors.....resulting in things heating up a lot more! Also, most of the modern esc's have inbuilt heat/voltage protection circuitry in order to prevent damage. (some go into limp mode, some just totally shut down the throttle/motor) Im suprised though that you didn't have similar issues on the sand as well?🤔 That car park looked perfect for our hobby, ideal track location there......get a few of you out there together would be great fun! The buggy drove well, never driven a tto2b,but people always sing there praises. As for the pesky rock on the beach.....good job the chief didn't launch it,those pensioners were within a stone throw!😂 👍 👍
Yeah I’m putting it down to a ghost in the machine but you are right about battery times, I just wish that it was addressed more in the design of the car. I know you can fit a fan, which draws power form the battery, so battery life is then a moot point. Those bloody pensioners were in their twenties when they started walking across the beach, I’m sure they were just trying to mass with my continuity on purpose 🤔😂👍
😂 Messing with your continuety......exactly what i thought! In reality, most of the time I don't think they even realise what is going on! And when i saw the chief pick that rock up i thought to myself, surely hes not going to throw it towards them is he?😂 At least the car seems to be running ok now anyway .😊 👍 👍
Was it a bad motor? Leaving us in suspense I suppose 😂 Looks cool with the paddle tires kicking up the sand. I love driving on the beach, but I hate the cleanup.

All is well for the time being with the TT02b. Just need to get everything else sorted this winter for next year 👍
Hehe, I like Brazil😂 and the new look.
Definitively running and looking better on loose surface.
Have a nice weekend guys.
I think Brazil is a fantastic film. Fingers crossed it’s all sorted now 👍

My Sand Scorcher is something that causes me so much heartache or heartburn. I’m going to work on it this winter 🤞👍

Oh gosh yes I’m read for some easy times in 2025 or I’m converting everything to steam power 🚂♨️
It suits that surface and looks 🤩
I think it’s looking a bit more sharp now 👍

Very successful. Nice run in the car park until the plasma got too thermal but led to a time warp and some fun in the sand. Well done.
😂 Yes very true, bit of a Rocky start but we got it sorted in the end 🤣👍

I will have to ask him again what he did, I think he just muttered technical ramblings. A good brush and compressed air is a good starting place 🤣😂👍
It looks like it was MADE for the sand! Now put a brushless system in it!
I’m looking for the best ‘horrified’ emoji 🫨
@@RCsoandso It can be a topic of a video. RC So & So goes brushless?! Doodely doodely doodely doodely doodely doodely do-oo-oo-oo Now then hobbyists.
When Dylan went electric they almost had a riot!
Is that car park even used anymore? Someone should make it into a place for running rc on tracks.
It’s totally unused, I’m sure they will build something in it soon but it’s massive, used to be used for park and ride 👍
