I don’t think the Philippines being a religious country is what is stopping inclusivity in the society. I think it is how we perceive things that stops us from getting there. I myself is a Christian just like Poca. There was this time at my church where sexuality was touched in the sermon and what I liked about what the pastor said was that, “A CHURCH SHOULD NOT BE A TALL BRICK OF WALL THAT SEPARATES PEOPLE, IT SHOULD BE A WELL WHERE IT WELCOMES EVERYONE TO COME AND HAVE A DRINK OF THE LIVING WATER. WE SHOULD LOVE EVERYONE NO MATTER WHO THEY ARE LIKE THE WAY JESUS LOVED US DESPITE OUR SHORTCOMINGS.”
I am an lgbtq ally but i used to say din na andami problema ng pinas para unahin yung additional comfort rooms na yan. BUT THIS REALLY OPENED MY EYES. Big hug ms.
I'm using my husband's account because I want him to be enlightened as well. Iyak ako malala when I heard Cristy's traumatic story. Thank you for being brave and for letting us know that this should be talked about. Love you mga mhie!
One of the reason why I love my LGBTQ+ friends kasi they need more love than hate. Keep it up! Let your voices be heard... and I think this will make a good impact in the rainbow community!
I just wanna say that i am proud of TaskUs company because the bathroom are all labeled all gender. Though there are two bathrooms built and signed as man and woman however on top of the door there is also a sign "all gender". So kung sakaling puno ang CR sa kabila everyone can use the other one freely. ❤❤❤ call center agent at TaskUs bohol here❤️❤️
This is an eye-opening topic. Lalo na sa mga experience ni Ms. D. I also had the same view kay Chardie na dapat inclusive so bakit they are asking for a third bathroom, but hearing Ms D shocks, I understand and would agree to have a separate one for safety at di na sila mabastos. Nakakaiyak yung experience niya and knowing na may friends ako na katulad niya din. 😢
Ang ganda ng topic nyo, i felt so bad that u have to go through that para lang umihi simple and natural way for everybody should do, then magiging problema pa for your part. Dapat sana bago natin angkinin sa sarili natin na tao tayu umakto tayung makatao din, ang alam ko saka ka lang nagpapatawag ng guard if you have been done bad or ginalaw ka or sinabunutan kaba di yung pati pagfall in line lang to use bathroom ay masama na not a reasonable way to go to heaven AMEN ❤
Grabee, didn't expect na may ganto palang nangyayari talaga sa totong buhay. I mean di naman sana sya big deal pero ginagawang issue huhuhu. I just started listening to your podcast para mawala antok ko habang onduty Hahaha
I am proud that my company, Cognizant, has gender neutral bathrooms now. They also attended this pride march and took care of the rainbow peeps who attended with breakfast to dinner inclusion and transpo.
I love listening to your podcast!!!! Not just entertaining, you guys are informative too! I am happy to see guys like you making a big difference to our world through this. Yeah this is huge especially to heterosexual people such as myself see and hear and sometime feel what you guys have been going through. Now we have a better understanding and we support you community more that ever. Kuddos! God job!
First of all let me Congratulate u guys, u're really smashing it! 👏 Great job in using this new "avenue" in creating a sensible talk. 👍😊👍 If i may suggest, i wish there will be also an additional host to represent the Lesbian group so we cud hear more from each spectrum. Or invite people that is relevant to make it more diverse. 😊 More power to you guys 🤗🌈
I'm an ally and have attended Pride Parade to join the celebration And your inputs in this podcast is an eye-opener for me because I thought, I am doing enough for my friends (transwoman and gayman). Thanks a lot!
In my opinion, I am okay to have a 3rd bathroom as well. For the comfort of everyone. From the stories you have shared, it is mostly needed now. Nakakatakot lang talaga kasi yung mga masasamang loob that will go through lengths of pretending to be a gay or a lesbian just to do evil acts. I, as a lesbian, I go to the women’s CR. I feel bad for the gays who are being discriminated inside the public bathrooms. But I am reminded na meron talagang mga lalaking manyak na magpapanggap as gay and dress as a woman just to go inside the women’s and makapangmanyak or fulfill whatsoever. Same I think with the men’s bathroom. So I highly suggest the 3rd bathroom, atleast if you are not comfortable to go to either men’s or women’s, you still have a 3rd option for comfort and security of everybody.
As a straight woman myself, I really do not mind transwomen or kahit yung transitioning pa lang or any guy who identifies themselves as a woman to use women's bathroom. I'm not saying na ok yung discrimination sa paggamit ng cr kasi no matter where and what kind of person are you, discrimination is not ok talaga. So for me, ok na din yung mga gender neutral bathrooms talaga so everyone's comfortable. Pero alam ko since nasa Pinas tayo, mahaba haba pa ang lalakbayin ng acceptance ng mga mamshies natin sa bansang 'to.
discrimination comes from ignorance and I think that is challenging to face and educate our community so having a third bathroom where queer people can have a safe, and comfortable space in public restrooms.
I’ve watch all your 8 episodes, parang dito ako pinaka n sad.. Literally crying cause i have gays bff and also struggling even though di pa sila cross dresser 😢 parang nkakasad lang tlga na hndi equally ang lahat since ive been to some other countries pero di naman ganyan ka rude 😢 hugss for you dear Christyyyyy i feel your sadness iloveyou❤️ I’am a girl but my entire heart and soul is a gay, super swerte mo magkaroon ng genuine friends like gayss 😘 di naman nakakababa ng pagkatao ang mag respeto diba? hopefully eto yung isa sa mga eye opener sating bansa 🫶🫶🫶
I can really relate to this topic. Another thing that I'd like to open up here is that I just feel so bad about some bars here in Cebu that they are in sooth inclusive as they should be. They are not open to transgenders like me paying an entrance fee. I meant I can afford to pay the entrance fee but the feeling is agonizing that they don't consider me as a woman (women are usually entrance fee free to some bars) so I have to pay the entrance fee as men do. Nakaka sad kasi I went there to enjoy and have a jovial time with my girl best friend and that happened! I felt so humiliated by that real experience. I'd like to shout out also to my girl best friend who stood up for me at that moment of overshadowing!!! How I wish they are more open and allowing to what forms of SOGIE you have considering that we live on the same earth, drink with the same water, and breathe with the same air. Happy Pride!!!
Im straight and an ally. I feel sad that they can not use the toilet comfortably. A basic human right deprived. Im happy during college that we welcomed transgender women sa female cr namin. Long way to go pero sana ganun din sa buong bansa.
Unfortunately dito nga sa U.S May mga nagpapanggap nga na babae sila and they have taken advantage or SA women/girls in the bathroom 😢 Hindi lang mangboboso.
fellow women, if you see a trans being discriminated sa cr, let's please stand up for them. I remember a friend who used to use comfort rooms for disabled because that's the safest way and I feel bad for him.
I think the creation of a third bathroom is necessary if the creation of a gender neutral bathroom is not possible. But between the two, I prefer to have a gender neutral bathroom so that the members of LGBTQIA+ community won't feel isolated. This is me being sensitive about the feelings of everyone. And the biggest factor why I go for a third bathroom and/or a gender neutral bathroom is the safety of everyone. Hearing Cristy's story made me think, na nasa labas pa lang siya ng CR eh na-judge na siya how much more kung nasa loob siya? They can simply accuse her of assault kahit hindi naman totoo and it would be very hard for Cristy to prove na hindi niya ginawa kasi wala namang CCTV sa loob ng CR eh. So, main concern ko dito is safety. In my case naman as a woman, if ever an altercation happens inside the women's bathroom, I want to be able to protect myself and I think that my physical strength is no match for the physical strength of a biological male. So, again, it all boils down to the safety rin of all parties involved kasi we cannot also deny the fact na may mga lalaki rin na naaabuso. So, for the safety of everyone, a third bathroom or a gender neutral CR is necessary for all establishments.
I dont oppose any opinion u guys said. I mean we are humans, change is constant, if we want to progress we need to accept change and if it means accepting you guys like the whole LGBTQIA community then go, but yung sinabi nga ni chardie na yung about sa mga adult learners? They will always compare the past with the present kasi they were built like that growing up, nainflict na sa mind nila yung ganon kasi nga people back then are somewhat afraid of change, hindi sila makapag raise ng voice but now? Mga kabataan ngayon are so brave! They can voice out everything that needs changing for the betterment and unity. I mean, a third bathroom wont be an issue, right? Its hard to adjust but we will get there!!!!
I think adults/elderly people are starting to open their mind din and accept the fact that they can't change or force that person to be straight so we'll just have to keep spreading awareness for them to understand further. Malayo pa tayo pero mejo malayo na din tayo from before meron ng mga pride fest etc.
I have found great enjoyment in listening to your insights, and I have been gaining valuable knowledge. Regarding the topic of having a third restroom, it encourages the promotion of inclusion and accessibility. I believe that having a third restroom can contribute to a more inclusive and accessible environment for everyone. It could provide a safe and comfortable space for individuals who may not feel comfortable using either the male or female restrooms. This can be especially beneficial for individuals who are transgender, non-binary, or have specific personal or cultural preferences. #queerfullyyours
I listen via spotify and learned that this issue is not a joke. I feel sad that you are feeling that way, at this point I will be the first person to defend you in case I come across the same scenario. We deserve respect!
Rest room is very personal sa babae kc half naked kmi kapag umiihi so we are very vulnerable, lalo kapag magpapalit ka pa ng napkin my gosh, imagine the sound kaloka , i’m sorry if you feel/experienced that way peru sana maintindihan nio din kming mga babae na hindi talaga comfortable, I understand that it is difficult for you peru it’s also difficult for us din kc… and sana wag din ma invalidate ung feelings naming mga babae…
I dont think we need another bathroom, I think what we need is an open mind that we are already living in a new generation! But hearing Deliciousness changed my opinion of having 3rd bathroom from her experience! May nakakasalubong nmn akong mga trans and akala ko nasa maling bathroom ako, napaatras at tumingin sa signage if nasa tamang Toilet and napahiya ko ung mga sisters na trans at umaalis nlng dahil siguro they felt judged.
It's a lose lose situation, i feel bad having our Lgbtq + experience this kind of discrimination. That's why we have to vote the right people in the government to facilitate change that champions equality and acceptance. Btw, steve is so cute pag naiinis. Lol 🤪
I feel so bad for Christy.
Having a 3rd bathroom essentially forces a person to 'out' themselves in public. Imagine papasok ang isang trans person sa banyo and people will say, "Ah sabi na nga ba bakla/tibo yun eh." Even worse when that person has worked hard to "pass" as the gender they identify with. Passing isn't the ideal but it's what a lot of transpeople are forced to do in order to conform and avoid conflict.
Actually for me, it’s not about the LGBTQ+ community to be discriminated. It’s more of feeling safe as a person who wants to protect myself. Coz there could be instances na the person is just saying na they identify as a woman but they are actually there to prey on women. And there are people who would really go out of their way just to prey. So, I think a gender neutral bathroom would be a better option. In your previous episode, you talked about respect, and I hope you can also respect our side na some people wouldn’t want to share the ladies’/men’s bathroom, kasi there are some LGBTQ+ people na bastos din naman talaga.
Next topic : Competing professionals: transgender vs heterosexual. E.g. transwoman competing for Volleyball against woman. Is it fair enough? Or not? And why?
this is very sensitive especially to the trans community. I understand din naman the hetero's opinions too. Just use the disabled one if meron para lang wala na sila masabi. Kasi now, we have non binary and some cross dressing straight na mas complicated to understand para sa iba.
Hi. Im straight and i love lgbt community. But for me. . Hope you understand our side too. ❤
I always fear going to male's bathroom, I am very uncomfortable, as these men believe na bobosohan daw namin sila. Everytime na mag cr ako sa company nevery ako tumuloy pag may tao, pas sa girls naman I am afraid din na mag cr since almost the same thing happend to me as Christy's.
Just wondering if you wonder the what-if after having a 3rd comfortroom, like would a pure male or pure female can use it due to long queues? or would there be also a member from the LGBTQ+ who is an opportunist/pervert go there and make harrassments. #GettingMoreComplicated 🤔#RespectForTheyAreAlsoHuman
Jusko~
Kaya nga mas better na may another comfort room for people who identify themselves as third gender or has their own pronouns, kasi ang tendency if example trans women are allowed to girl CR advantage yun sa mga manyak na mag aastang bakla, tomboy, or trans kasi motive nila to mambuso and all. Yurn hehe
Wag na mag lagay ng FEMALE🧍♀️ OR MALE🧍♂️ SIGN UNG TALONG AT TAHONG ILAGAY PARA KUNG MAY 🍆 KA GAY OR TRANSMAN DUN KA .AND SAME SA TRANS WOMAN AND WOMENS. Para hindi magkalituhan...and no need to show them as long na alam mo kung anong meron ka.
Hindi ako part ng LGBTQ+ and okay lang din sa akin to share a comfort room with them., pero sa panahon kasi natin ngayon there are people who are still umcomfortable with the idea.. May mga kilala rin ako na di sila hater ng LGBTQ and according to them may mga friends sila na part ng community , pero they juat find it uncomfortable na may makasabay sa comfort room na LGBTQ.. I don't judge them for that kasi hindi ko nilalahat ahh may mga ibang sirang ulo na tao kasi na they pretend na part sila ng LGBTQ and then pumasok sila sa comfort room together with the other girls, yung iba naka damit na pangbabae yung iba naman ay hindi pero bongga naman ang makeup..not knowing na that person pala ay pervert.. So, para sa akin we cannot force those person na hindi uncomfy sa isang cr na may kasamang part ng LGBTQ,. hindi natin pwede basta nalang ipilit yun sakanila.. the LGBT should also be okay with that and I'm happy na yung iba naman okay lang sa kanila , na they understand what the government should atleast do para equal is to have your their very own cr...
When it comes to the topic, they should really have a third bathroom. I respect everyone preference when it comes to choosing their genders but transwomen are transwomen. Women are women. Not all females are comfortable when there are males going to our spaces. 🤷♀️
Mali po talaga pag-handle nung taga-resort. At the same time, the biggest fear of straight women is exactly a person pretending to be a woman with hidden ill intentions. This is due to many experiences of women of being sexually harassed or assaulted in public places.
Respectfully, you can't have everything. If they say they're not comfortable having a Trans in the bathroom, automatic ba na mali sila? So are you saying na feelings nyo lang ang valid? Try nyo rin Sana kumuha ng opinion ng mga heterosexual people and ask their own bad experiences. Safety concerns talagang complicated yan.
Don't bash me please opinion lng po..

Antipolo Cathedral also established 3rd bathroom.❤
SOGIE 💪🌈
I'll share thisss
Thank you so much, sarajane 😍
I have found great enjoyment in listening to your insights, and I have been gaining valuable knowledge. Regarding the topic of having a third restroom, it encourages the promotion of inclusion and accessibility. I believe that having a third restroom can contribute to a more inclusive and accessible environment for everyone. It could provide a safe and comfortable space for individuals who may not feel comfortable using either the male or female restrooms. This can be especially beneficial for individuals who are transgender, non-binary, or have specific personal or cultural preferences. #queerfullyyours
love u four 🤍🤎
What is your take on tranwoman joining woman sports? Very Curious with your take 😊
I listen via spotify and learned that this issue is not a joke. I feel sad that you are feeling that way, at this point I will be the first person to defend you in case I come across the same scenario. We deserve respect!
Huhu. Sana may trigger warning 🥺❤️ I was so moved by the topic. Pero sobrang important nito to discuss this. 💯
please discuss also ung stigma about HIV and AIDS, na kapag bakla ka is spreader ka ng HIV or AIDS.
Thissssss
Same experience with my trans friends to that particular resort sobrang malala sila pina alis pa kami ng management kasi nga nagalit kami sa gnawa ng guard sa friends namin para lang sa pag cr. pati manager dun sobrang malala.
Same Ako kaht ihing ihi na titiisin ko nalang kasi everytime pumasok sa Cr lahat Ng Mata NASA Sayo at Minsan nagpaparinig pa😟
You know why we(trans) love starbucks? Because the comfort room is gender neutral. 🏳️🌈
Next topic suggestion is sexually transmitted disease (for awareness po)
Shoutout sa Isla Reta, kakahiya kayo
Next topic : Competing professionals: transgender vs heterosexual. E.g. transwoman competing for Volleyball against woman. Is it fair enough? Or not? And why?
this is very sensitive especially to the trans community. I understand din naman the hetero's opinions too. Just use the disabled one if meron para lang wala na sila masabi. Kasi now, we have non binary and some cross dressing straight na mas complicated to understand para sa iba.
but people should understand na it's just CR guys. Let us use it. Di naman kami gagawa ng masama. We just wanna feel like a normal hetero na naiihi.
Jusko~
Gender neutral bathrooms madami na sa abroad. As usual, tayo nasa latak ng pag asenso.
I support and love LGBTQ+ , respect talaga dapat because were all humans afterall..❤
Don't bash me please opinion lng po..
ang sad. Grabe and discrimination.
