I really like the illustration on trash. However that illustration on trash reminds me of the reality that next time around we still have to throw our trash again. The next day or the next week. As long as Satan is alive we can still be vulnerable to sin because there will always be trash in our everyday life that we have to throw away.
Great thoughts, friend. But how about realizing that Jesus Christ threw your trash out once and for all on Calvary. So, the next day or next week that you think you smell trash in the back seat, that is just the aroma of stinking thinking, not believing that Christ has done away with all trash in His body, and we get to live clean and odor free by faith. The only thing that will always need to be thrown away are the thoughts and beliefs that are not in line with the truth of the Gospel of our freedom from trash!
How I wish that is true.. but looking unto the disciples I can see that is not the case. Sin struggles are real men even if we are in Jesus. Try to think of this, was there a time where people overcome Lust? Or was there a time wherein we will not be affected by sins of this world offers? By Faith God has cleanse me, yes that is true, but as long as we are here in this sinful world we can’t be exempted of it struggles.
