This is a simple and sweet message. I don't understand why the SDA Church has been officially fighting this. Paul says in 2Cor. 3 that, the "Old covenant came with a veil" and the veil still covers some who don't fully accept the New Covenant. May God help us.
Johnathan this is an excellent monologue. One thing that might be helpful for your opponents would be to put on the screen - while you are talking - the specific Bible verses that correspond to your thought. Your dialogue is par excellence, but if it isn't saturated in Bible references the whole time, your Pharisaical opponents will have ammunition with which to oppose you. Keep going brother! I am in tears to hear your words. There is so much confusion out there in Adventism that your words must have much clarity USING THE BIBLE references with optimal clearness. I am most definitely fighting for and with you.
This is how I understood, idk if it is their point of view but hopefully it can help. If you are dead to sin then there would be no struggle. Because a dead man doesn't want anything, he's dead. And that's how we are to be to sin. Not want it, in fact not even care for it. (God's will is our sanctification) Then enters the journey of transformation in the heart that Christ only can do. No Longer desire to sin. Once we accept by faith that we are saved we are going to have enmity towards sin (enter Holy Spirit) because of what it did to Jesus. We are hurting a REAL person and a REAL relationship. So while the struggle with temptations may be there for a time or untill Jesus comes🤷🏽♀️(God's grace is sufficient)the goal is desiring the Good God has for us not the self sabotaging sin that leads us into bondage, death and ultimately separates us from our Dad.
Romans 3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of SINS THAT ARE PAST, through the forbearance of God; Once you are Born Again you dont sin anymore

Do you mean that there is no more struggle in sin the moment you are saved?

In other words change your focus... Easier said than done, but it's a choice that must be made again and again.
