You bet! Should have the remaining days of the trip up every week now. Finally got some time to finish the videos! Every day gets better too!!! The last night of camping was amazing!
I just found your channel and love seeing utv overlanding. I live in idaho and have a utv. We are always in idaho city area. Be careful on the highways though, its a gray area in idaho for what they let you do. No more than 5 miles on a highway over 45mph. Anything else is decided by each city. But ultimately its always however the authority figure feels about enforcing it. Most are cool about it.
Thanks for joining us! We loved visiting that area. Yes, we found out about that 5 mile law after we returned. We always do our research but I misread that. It’s kind of a stupid law IMHO and a traffic ticket is not something Im worried about - but I do want to do my best to not leave a bad image of UTV riders and that means trying to follow the rules. We’re actually probably going to do a video about that issue here soon. Thanks for joining the channel! We’re glad to have you here 🤙🏼
Thanks, we really enjoy your videos. I asked you some time ago if you considered a trailering cover, and I can finally give my opinion of the Polaris cover we purchased. It worked quite well on our recent trip to Rice Lake. Stayed secure, with the only downside being its sort of a pain to install. But I think it will do a good job protecting the windshield on the road.
I’m planning more riding in Idaho, beautiful state. Was hoping to see what your route looked like to get back to your pickup. Great video and glad to see more from you.
We’d love to go back and ride more. Absolutely gorgeous. We went back kind of the same way we drove up. The Sawtooth Wilderness is east of where we were riding and that’s all off limits to UTVs, aside from the highway that runs through there. I’ll post the last two videos in the next couple weeks. If you search Northwoods Family on Ride Command I think they will come up too.
Thanks Reed! Close race but we came up just short. We knew it would be really tough given her opponents family legacy in our area but we accomplished what we wanted when we set out. Honestly it’s a blessing! A lot less stress this way and income is better where Kim is now. I put a post up with more details…. Thanks for asking and good to be back!
Thanks! The trip got better every day just wait til you see the rest! It’s a 21 DLX and I think we have somewhere between 3500-4000 miles on it so far.
Went over it a bit in part 1 of the video. You have to go into an Idaho DMV and get a restricted use license plate. It was just a few bucks I think and is good for ten years. Other than having to do it in person it was fairly painless.
Thank you for sharing.
Blessed Family 🛐

Thanks as always Dr. Mark! Really appreciate your support!

Anxiously awaiting this! Thank You

That's quite a drive clear to Stanley on 21 in a sxs.
Yeah… it was a haul but not the longest we’ve done by any means. The road noise is significant but the machine really drives nice at higher speeds.

Awesome! Thanks for the update. I’ll definitely take a look at now!

Great video. Liked: Can we come here again?
Lol thanks! Yeah that kid is pretty cute. He loves camping!
Hey, good to have you back. Is the wife now the Sherriff-elect?

Badass video nothing like a good time riding offroad and camping are you familiar with Michigan we have a Overland trip coming up in may in Bull Gap
Thanks! We’ve looked into Michigan some, the UP looks like a great place to ride and it’s on our list to get to. We’ll take a look at Bull Gap…
Great trip, you should try a vented glass windshield, we have a USA brand. and it works great
You have a link? We’ve thought about looking at other windshields that would allow us some more airflow
@@TheNorthwoodsFamily Super ATV , it really works great.
Awesome video and beautiful country side . I was wondering what year your general is and how many miles you have on it?
Thanks! The trip got better every day just wait til you see the rest! It’s a 21 DLX and I think we have somewhere between 3500-4000 miles on it so far.
how did you get your utv street legal in Idaho? is it as easy as South Dakota?
