LOL I've got some nice external shots in that long muddy rut hole you got stuck in maybe I'll combine it with a glimpse of your cab shot for the whole picture! Nice video and great to meet you guys thanks
@@nickharris4861 this is more of a in general but I believe most sxs can benefit from a lager tire for more ground clearance, and light bars for better nighttime visibility in the dark, and every sxs I believe should have a chase light for dusty or snowy conditions, as far as this model goes I think Honda did a great job and not sure that it really “needs” anything it’s more what do you want to do with it and what would make that easier
@OffroadTrolls well in my experience so far with my honda trail edition 1000 5 i actually agree with everything you said the lack of lighting in the night sucks and arent the tires on it a 27 inch?
Stumbled on to your Video of this event, Love seeing more of the trails than most shared and how you liked the path less traveled. I finally got my Trial edition which was on order for a while. I choose the trail for the suspension over the forest edition. Almost a 100 miles into the break in and I have not been disappointed. This machine is a great combo machine as you described.
🏆🏆🏆👍🇺🇲🙏. I wouldn't go back to a locked front end over the I-4WD. It's better in corners, hills and mud without the deficits you suffer too steering with a locked front end. When you spend YOUR money, get what best suits YOUR wants and needs. 👍 Thank you for sharing
Great review! Would you say the suspension is better than the Wolverine X2? Comparable to the Rmax? I'm looking to order a machine soon and really like the Pioneer, but just trying to make sure I get a machine with good suspension to obsorb the bump on faster trail ride. I have 1st Gen Wolverine now and the suspension is ok, but not great.
I have not drove the rmax but without having them next to each other I definitely think the pioneer trail model was the nicest riding utility machine I have encountered so far, I’ll preference that by saying I saying I haven’t drove a general or a commander however
@@OffroadTrolls I'm a Yamaha/Honda guy so those others you mentioned aren't in my consideration for a new SXS. Lol! The RMax is really nice but not sure it's $3000 nicer than the Pioneer. I love that the Honda doesn't have a belt and the turf mode is a nice option. Thanks for your help!

Best thing about starting a UA-cam channel is all the new people I have met along the way!!
Famous last words... It's catching something..
I just bought the trail edition i love it but this is a great video
Thank you
What improvements would you consider on doing to improve this model?

Great times where had for sure 💯👍
Always a great time, when it’s with great friends 😎
Really enjoy my 2018 base(no PS). May have a half mile in 4wd and

Why not go for the Honda talon? The sport SxS’s are geared more for trail riding.
@@scottg77rLove the Talon, but I need a machine that can do a little work too.
Hope these don't overheat
What is the GPS set up?
Its a Garmin, it’s part of Hondas accessories line up.
@@OffroadTrolls Thank you for that. I have a Pioneer 1000-5 and will go into honda to see their accessories.
Lots of people do not like the I 4wd. Put the manual front locker back in them.
I see the benefits of the I-4wd but it would be nice if you could also lock it up
