I have a Bentley manual and it says in the home position that motor arm should be 5 degrees up. I installed mine with that arm off after homing the motor. Tricky, but I got lucky. For some reason they said to pull the linkage forward and tighten the center bolt first, then the left, then right. Why? No idea.

dude, I had to readjust the linkage 3 times but I knew where I went wrong and how to tackle it thx to your thorough vid. Marking dots on top of the spindles helped me track the movements too. Great job

There's a tiny lip on the rear edge. Mine was a total hassle because I didn't know.

There should be screws or clips, depending on the model year of the car, on the plastic trim beneath the windscreen.

yup 3, one by the air filter, on behind the battery and one by the ecu
