Thanks in advance for checking this video out! It's one of my favourites that I've edited and was an incredible adventure for my birthday! Also, please don't forget to like and comment, I'd consider it the best birthday present ever! I can't wait to share the rest of the trip with you! 🫡
No worries! Can't always make the live one. I'm thinking about changing it to a evening during the week. Glad you like the music and hopefully the deeper message I'm trying to get across resonates at some level! Overlanding is cool, but life journeys are cooler 🫡
Good luck, I live in Rosarito and travel the peninsula regularly, mostly remote beach camping but there are plenty of mountains, deserts and everything in between, hope you have a blast!! keep away from remote beach camping north of El Rosario (kind of sketchy).
Thanks for commenting! I had a blast. And honestly I didn’t know that but in my next video (which goes live at 7pm PT) I actually have a section where I experience this and in those exact locations. I genuinely do appreciate you sharing the local POV as I was a bit worried I might paint Baja in a bad light by sharing what happened while I was there but I wanted to be true to the experience and didn’t feel right not sharing it as it was a very serious situation. I would love to talk to you privately some time to better understand a locals perspective. I lacked local information and as a result it left me with gaps in my perspective that I’d love to better understand from a local pov. Hit me up on IG? Link in the description. I hope you enjoy the content and continue to follow along. Thanks again for commenting and sharing this. I feel better now knowing that I wasn’t over reacting but also nervous about what I experienced and how naive I was.
Great video I look forward to starting my around the world trip leaving Whiterock and will definitely head down through the Baja as I work my way through Mexico Super glad you enjoyed your 40th
Nice! White rock is where I bought my truck! I can’t wait to go back to Baja - you’ll love it! Glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks for the birthday wishes!
@@HighGroundByNightfall I had no idea that you were so close to White rock lol I am having my jeep upgraded with an Alucap camper as we speak, I want to document my trip on UA-cam but I find it more daunting than planning my journey lol
@@craigharrington4731 right on. I’m the person who introduced fab (owner @ WCOR) and Kevin (from WRD) for their new build partnerships 🫡 glad to hear you are having a good experience! I know them both very very well. WCOR did my initial tracks setup for me.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. Unfortunately I had a rule that I don’t share waypoints on social but if you look around and use maps you can find it too 🫶
How you felt about this trip is exactly how I feel about doing The Rubicon, and when I turned 50 I said I'm doing it! Well unfortunately that didnt work out, however, 2025 and for my 51st birthday it WILL HAPPEN! I also have a question about that Starlink mount, Is it custom or did u buy it from somewhere?

@@craigharrington4731 yeah I bought my truck from Kevin at white rock. Welcome to alucab club! where are you doing the alucab? Capit?
No the whole build is being done by Westcoast Offroaders
I have been working closely with them since I bought my jeep back in August

Where are those trails you were on in the beginning drone clips? Would love to go there! Awesome video, beautiful shots!

I hear you! It’s not a custom mount but you could make it easily. It’s a universal mount from savage utv.
@@HighGroundByNightfall Thank you!! I will check em out.
This year for my birthday I got myself alcohol poisoning 🍺🥃🤮
Stick to coronas. No one ever died from light cerveza. Except that one time in Tijuana. 🍺
DEF what do you need that for? 🤣
🤣 now I don’t lol
