Okay, not done watching the video yet but I had to give you props for dropping something out of the Dracula vs. Van Helsing box and not even flinching. The show must go on 😅.
A lot of interesting spooky season games! We don't have very many. I was thinking we needed to get some more. Lots of good ideas here! I picked up Power Plants thinking it might stretch to a spooky season game but I don't think it's going to make it to the table in time. Texas Chainsaw Massacre looks interesting. You had me at bag building! But I wouldn't be allowed to bring it home 😅 Will you be handing out candy this year? Do you get a lot of trick or treaters? It's going to rain here on Halloween evening. I don't think we'll get many. I hope not because our dog goes crazy howling, not just barking but full on howling like a wolf when anyone shows up at the door. I'm not looking forward to that 😵💫It's always exciting to knock off a bunch of new to me/you/us games off the list 🙂 We've been working on ours, but no matter how hard we work at it the list always seems to get longer 🤔
Hahaha I take it Sheena isn't a fan of horror movies 😆 I love bag building, it makes it a ton of fun to anxiously pull out the next token. As if I need my anxiety increased 😅 We actually have never gotten a single trick or treater... which this year is actually a good thing because our front door hasn't opened for about a month..... I'll just let that sink in 😂 We live in a 1940s Tudor home and have already piered the foundation once, and yet here we are again. Day by day.... lol. I have been feeling a little stressed the last two years honestly lol so I am finally like okay I think if I got some of my shelf of opportunity played and knocked down I would feel better! So I'm trying that method, and trying to shush Shoulder Baley from telling me to buy more games... although she has been in my ear a lot about backing Madcala.. so here we go again 😅
@@botanyandboard Yeah, horror movies get a big no from Sheena, but I like a good scary-creepy movie here and there. So they have to be man cave movies for when I go work on my puzzles. I’m thinking of starting a new one today, although I should go out after work and empty my plant pots before the frost cracks them. But it’s just starting to snow a bit. I really don’t want to go out there… Wow, big wow, I’m surprised you don’t get any trick or treaters, seeing your vlogs I would have thought there’d be some kids around. We get about 20 each year. Some of my coworkers think it's crazy that we only get 20 because they get hundreds. Just non-stop for hours, lineups of kids. Oh, that sounds like some major shifting to stick a front door like that. We’re still debating if we buy an older home or a new build for our next step in life. There are lots of older century homes for sale on the Atlantic coast, but I’m sure they come with many quirks of stuck doors and other things. Our place is just about as old as yours but it has generally been solid minus the vaulted ceilings causing big ice dams in the winter because there is basically no insulation in them. I’m trying to break out of buying so many games. It gets silly sometimes because we don’t have enough time to play them all yet I still buy and buy. Perhaps we really do need to move because our FLGS is literally just a 5 minute walk away. I can’t really go anywhere without going by it. Way too convenient to stop in! But I just decided to pass on a few KS campaigns, either to not get them at all or wait until retail. We might win over shoulder Baley!
Wyatt hates scary movies as well.. I had him watch Poltergeist last night because I hadn't seen it and when we were getting ready for bed he's like "well thanks to you I'm sure I'll have weird dreams, when can we watch a hallmark" 😂 Also after watching the Poltergeist I understand the Final Girl feature film much more haha. OMG SNOWING!!! It was 81 degrees in KC today and super super windy, I hope we aren't getting that weather moving our way haha. When we bought our house I thought we would have trick or treaters, and we moved in literally the week of Halloween so I went crazy and bought sooo much candy, and absolutely no one came lol. Our road is a pretty busy road though, so I think kids must just stick a little more inside the neighborhood streets. My parents live in the country as well, so we never got any growing up either. Although my friends are having kids these days so maybe one of these days I'll just make them baskets or something and ask them to be the only few that come by hahaha. Hundreds would be insane!! I'm like it sounds amusing and fun for an hour and then I would be like okay house is closed. I know there is sometimes no winning with houses, people who have new builds seem to think they aren't built like they used to be, and then mine who was built "well" has a little more settling and cracking than is desired lol. 😅 We can start a movement against shoulder Baley 😂 That would be super dangerous only 5 mins away.... although maybe you should use that as you only go and buy one game at a time and then come back home and play it before you can go back. 😆
@@botanyandboard Hallmark always wins over scary here 😄 That's our standard thing when playing games inside, is having a Hallmark movie playing in the background. If one of us takes a bit to play their turn the other can catch up with the movie. I just wish they were still playing fall movies instead of Christmas. Too early, I think! Although I think there might be some fall ones in the on demand section. I should look next time! The problem with my FLGS is its rather small, so if there's something I might be interested in it's a buy now or never kind of situation, because they don't have a lot of stock and don't tend to get restocks. Shoulder Baley seems to thrive on scarcity 😅

You will have to let me know if you find any good releases this year! My mom used to dvr all the new ones and tell me what was good to watch and which ones to skip.
Okay, just finished the video! It was awesome! I must say thank you for hugging the tripod the entire time for the raw footage of Welcome To! 😅😅😅 Power Plants is pretty good solo. I enjoyed it enough to play solo again. Thank you SO much for the copy of Witchcraft! OMG that game is amazing. I have played it 10 times and it just keeps impressing me. I am not very good at it though. Elder Sign I enjoyed but there's a lot to remember and the pieces are so tiny. Ugh. Don't they know some of us have big hands?!?!? 😂 Finally, hello super cute pooches! They are adorable 😍🥰! I totally want to see a playthrough of Witchcraft by the way!
Great list of games. I need to get The Bloody Inn. I did get witchcraft, so I'm looking forward to playing that. I always love playing Welcome To. Such a fun game. And now i have the collector edition which has everything. I am playing Texas Chainsaw on halloween. I like that game. And being a fan of the first film makes it even better. Jessica Biel version.... i was almost 40 when that came out. HOW OLD AM I. OMG. I grew up on the original! I posted a video of all my recent game buys. I have an addiction!
