I just did my first play of Harmonies on BGA and really enjoyed it. One that I may want to add to the collection. I really enjoy Hocus Pocus it's so fun. I love/ hate the box. Witchcraft also made it on my 2024 fav list. I did end up getting A Gentle Rain after seeing your playthrough and also Loved it!!

Just starting my work day with your top 24 of 24 list ☺ Harmonies would be on my top 24 list too. A cleverly designed and satisfyingly puzzly abstract. Your video of Suspects was among my top favorites of 2024. That was really good 🙂 Still waiting to try Power Plants and were just saying on the weekend we should try the Greek version of Horrified soon, now that we've finally won the original with 3 monsters. Let's Go! To Japan is definitely in our top 10 of 24, if not our top 5. We've really enjoyed Forbidden Island and Desert, both bought entirely inspired by you 🙂 We've been trying Forbidden Island with higher difficulty levels lately. Haven't won yet but very close! Ah, Mists Over Carcassonne 👻 Hmm, maybe we need to buy Hocus Pocus. We like watching the movie every Halloween. I'm going to pick up The Game if I ever see it. Your content is very down to earth. It looks like you have more snow than us 😯 Ours melted away last week but we got enough of a dusting on the weekend to keep things white. Wyatt shoveled the dogs paths to get to the yard for the bathroom lol the snow was over their heads it was hilarious to watch. Luna also hates the cold so if she encounters any snow for 10 seconds she is ready to be picked up and saved 😂 Maybe you and Sheena should rank your top 24 over on IG! I would love to see it!! holy moly those plants are big! what are they? first off, i got to your #5 and said Gentle Rain is your #1. but I almost went with Awkward Guests. I was going to comment on all 24 games but thought it would be too long and you might not read it all. so, quick recap: Harmonies is great, so much fun and can get a few games in in no time. i have played one case in Suspects (the one shown). played it at work at lunch for a few days. good stuff. i need to get Power Plants, i do like KTBG games. i have never played any Arkham Horror games, the theme doesn't grab me. Town77 is fun. i bought it after your playthrough. Café Barras is so cool. love the artwork and the gameplay. i would have Lets go to Japan higher on the list. i love that game. Horrified is so fun. I bought all of them after watching your playthroughs. money well spent! i cant believe Forbidden Desert isn't on your list! I want to get Foundations of Rome or Metropolis. but I don't think there is a solo mode. at least not yet. Texas Chainsaw is great. i feel the same way about the bag building and suspense. i did get Mists over Carcassonne after you talked about it. haven't played it yet! Mr Cabbagehead is very good. the art is so cool. i play The Game every time i go camping. easy to play anywhere but i suck at it! Witchcraft is so tough (i think) but so good. i also like Resist. never tried Watergate but looks interesting. Gentle Rain, fun, relaxing. i have the Target version. ok, read that a few times. sorry so long. I tried to keep it short. this was such a great list of games. i have discovered so many fun games because of your channel. love the "transition" at the end, and i like the blooper/ behind the scenes things at the end. keep doing that. some of the best stuff on Foster the Meeple is the bloopers at the end of their videos. so funny. keep doing what you are doing and DO what you want to do. I love what you do. you have brought us into you life with game playthroughs, lists, books, plants and vlogs. bring it on! i am excited for you in 2025, no matter what you do. not sure if you have it already but Flower Fields is a fun game.. Todd I would read every word no matter how long my dear friend! 🤗 keep telling me how big my plants are🤗😆 .. it's a compliment in the plant world ahahaha So one of them in the second angle shot is a tree lol so that's partly why it's so big but it's a Fiddle Fig Tree. My neighbor gave it to me when they moved and since I've had it it's added two new branches 😁 In shot one I have on the left the lighter plant is a dieffenbachia - I got it at my Popie's funeral and so it's his plant and he does super well with no fuss just like he was as a person so it's fitting haha. Then the alocasia is a longiloba Wyatt got that for me at Home Depot one day as a surprise. It's also been a really low fuss plant, and alocasia's have cycles so it's surprising mine has done this well without a dying back cycle hitting it. I love how many of the games I like you enjoy as well - that makes me happy!! Sorry for your wallet lol. We should make a plan to play the second case of suspects at the same time and then we can chat about it!! Oh no you are totally right I would of had Forbidden Desert and Awkward Guests on here no doubt about it, but I excluded them and tried to just talk about games that I hadn't played until 2024.... so you just await my top 100 videos they will be there. I just looked up flower fields that wasn't what I was thinking of I hadn't seen this at all but it looks beautiful 😍 it also reminds me of patchwork (maybe they are related lol haven't read that far) but thank you for your rec you know me so well!
So far 6 days in and I am doing good on my 2025 no buy . . . but I got Harmonies on the 26th at the B&N sale and can’t wait to play. Mandala (and Patterns, haven’t tried Flowers) are high on the ‘enjoyed!’ list for the year. Numbsters lives in my purse and at home. There is an Infinity expansion I want to try playing with, I got the P&P to add to my sets. I think I said before, but we didn’t like Hocus Pocus. Just couldn’t make it work for us. And your #1 is perfect. My favorites for the year, in no order: Hooky, Flip 7, Arboretum, Romi Rami,Tiger & Dragon, White Castle. I think I mostly played card games that worked for the 9/10 year old. We keep hoping they will embrace harder games, but no luck. Meanwhile, I am so over Sorry…. Happy New Year to you both!! Much love and happiness for 2025!
hahaha I can understand being over Sorry. I played chutes and ladders with my nephew over Christmas and I was like hmmm not much to it to keep me entertained as an adult lol. I haven't bought any games so far this year... it's a miracle lol. We will see how long it lasts!! I think I need to add Hooky to the list - I love deduction, so I bet it would be a favorite of mine. Patterns is a slam dunk along with Mandala but Flowers has limited coverage. Seems more hit or miss. Would be interested in seeing that one for sure to get your take.
