    That fine and dandy but when I went there put me in the last car with 10 donkeys in front of me crashing all over the place 😩

      you can easily do a fast lap with a busy track. Just time it out so no one is in your way for a fast lap. But 21 seconds is a very optimal lap. Only been done once by anyone else. I've done it only 5 times and all in the same month.

    Was looking this up because after 15 races on this track I couldnt break 24 seconds to save my life. Clicked in after watching and seeing your username that you're one of the guys with a banner hanging from the ceiling.
    I think I'll take this as expert advice. Hope to race you sometime!

      Happens to me too. Rib protector, they sell them at K1. Or you can bring a pillow and put it behind you. Helps massively.

      Thanks for the tips dude! I'm in axe throwing so I see a lot of parallels. It's just up the road on Dufferin if you ever wanna come out. Thanks for being accessible and helpful 😄.

    been visiting k1 speed toronto frequently this year and my best time is 22.191! still can't manage to get into 21 second range. My question is, how often do you have races where everyone on track is not put on full speed for almost the entire race? Has happened on a few occasions when there is races with newcomers, very annoying and I can't improve my time.

      assuming you mean Mississauga? Try and go during a weekday afternoon to avoid all the slowdowns!

      yeah the main thing is other people spinning out and causing a caution and slowing everyone on track down.

      Are you braking hard enough at turn 6 to actually lock the rears to further get the kart to rotate or do you get off right before. Also can you trail brake with these karts?

    These k1 speed karts are so much slower than the gas karts at kylemore karting here in ireland, i went once on a trip to america and it was probably one of the most underwhelming thing i ever experienced lol

    • @dawsoncampbell
      @dawsoncampbell  2 роки тому +2

      They are much faster at accelerating but yes, no question a lot of gas karts are much faster.

      @@dawsoncampbell in that case I more than understand the hand movement. The steering wheel will articulate a lot over the bumps. However, smoother is always faster, especially in karts.
