Luka had a better record in a better division, ~4 more points, ~3 more assists, only ~2.5-3 less rebounds, and played without Kyrie, Lively, Exum, and others for long stretches. He was my MVP with a comfortable lead, Giannis was probably 3rd or 4th. Solid regular season to add to his HoF resume though. He's going to be underrated asf when he retires.

Jamal out for over 20 games, and he has carried the Nuggets to the playoffs once again. SGA's resume is nowhere near this. 51 30+ point games, and leading a young team doesn't qualify you for MVP. SGA: 30.1 PPG, 5.5 RPG, 6.2 APG, FG% 54. Why do you always have to discredit someone? Worst MVP in over 40 years? Nice try. 🤡 Haters.

Jokic owned every advanced statistic and a lot of the basic ones. He was ARGUABLY the best player of the year, and on the basis of "How good is the team without him?" argument, the Nuggets would be a lottery team without Jokic there. The man is literally the most efficient player of all time, and has no real weakness to his game. His defense aint great, but it ain't bad either. He's also insanely consistent, and shows up every game, which is something Embiid can't claim, and neither can Giannis this year.
The only other competitor was Luka. People are saying Shai, but him and Luka basically do the same things in different ways, but Luka does them better. They're both PPG and playmaker players, and Luka wins both of those categories with arguably a worse team. OKC is stacked with young, great talent, when you got Chet as your third option, your team is badass.
I usually stan for Gil and agree with him on a lot of his controversial opinions, but this doesn't sit right with me. Just feels like hate for the white boy.

You don't watch much basketball. He did good but there are way more greater 4 year stretches than this. Russ averaged a triple double for 4 seasons straight. Coming close to it is not that great. He plays subpar defense. He's a great scorer and passer but nth we haven't seen before

These guys are proof that just because you play NBA doesn't mean you know basketball lol. Lets talk about their SGA got robbed stuff. Jokic was top 10 in scoring, top 5 in Rebs and top 3 in asst, He was more efficient than SGA, they finished with the same record despite Murray missing 30 games. Jokic was number 1 in damn near every ADV stat which usually dictates whats an MVP, plus minus, VORP, PER,TS% etc he was number 1. Denver differential when Jokic is on the floor and off the floor is also larger than SGA with OKC. Last point on the SGA stuff, he put up very similar great numbers last year but they were 9th, this year they are 1st... Go look at SGA's stats last year its almost identical but there is a big jump in record and seeding, why is that? could it be because Chet finally played? Jwill went from 14 a game to almost 20 a game? Not taking anything away from SGA, I think he is the best SG in bball, I had him 3rd in my MVP after jokic and luka, hell of a player but to say he got robbed because he lost to Jokic is absurd and just straight up hating on Jokic.

You can't make an argument for Shai and mention his scoring, when Luka scored way more, assisted more, and was overall a highly productive player. There is no real criteria to actually weigh on favor of Shai when considering numbers, it's either a case for Luka or Jokic, the only difference is that Shai is black.
SGA a better defender than Joker and Luka...so there's that. But I guess when we judge how valuable a player is, we gotta forget about defense.😂

Jokic met all the criteria. His numbers aren't empty because the team needs everyone one of those rebounds, points, and assists to win and have one of the best records in the league. Jokic is their entire system of success. You can replace Jamal Murray on the Nuggets, you can't replace Jokic.
