ROWAN…Right on buddy. Gary I. let me know about your channel. Great to see you and your passion coming through the videos. Keep it up. You’re doing great things here 👍👊🏻. Tell your Dad hello too. Groso.
@@TRAKNoutdoors Thats a shame. Im based in Idaho and usually when I see rocky hills like that, I find birds. Out here sometimes theres just enough water in those rocky areas for some native grasses to thrive and then the birds got good cover and can eat at the seeds and stuff.
@madjack_757 yea this year there’s enough moisture. Unfortunately we had about 4 years that were really dry that those birds had to move out of those areas. It’s great to see a few birds moving back in.
Congratulations man your living my dream I have a Gsp pup but by the time I’m even 18 he will be 5 or 6 so it’s sad how fast it it gos by, remember to enjoy every minute
Nicely done. Wonderful when they just keep popping up!. 3 most important words in chukar hunting. Reload, Reload, Reload!!! On that note, whats the gun? Looks like a beretta hump??? Barrel appears short, not a gig just curious. And lastly, Ive been doing this a long time. I know how many shells I need to carry with a 3 shell limit, how many do you pack when you leave the truck??????
Great video! A lot of really good B-roll. You can tell a lot of effort went into filming and editing this video - do you guys do it all yourselves? Better storytelling and videography then you see on TV.
Dang man, we really appreciate the kind words. Yea we do it all ourselves, obviously the filming is the fun part. I have somewhere between 40 to 50 hours in editing a video like this. It’s not easy but we love it. Thanks for following along!
Another great video. Awesome seeing you two having fun out there. Thanks!
@@KeithSivley we appreciate it Kieth!

Holy cow Larry! Your the man! Thanks would love to catch up if you ever make it up this way!
Dude you got the holy grail of chukar huntin spots! Those mountains look killer 🤘
It’s a good one for sure! But to be honest there’s not that many birds in there. It really lacks water unfortunately.

Good memories.
Absolutely!
More jealous you’ve got a lady that drinks coors light and shoots birds. I’m in northern nevada and have yet to find one of those lol

You ever read Ted Trueblood’s account of the first ever Idaho chuckar hunt? His tent collapsed from a heavy snow storm the night before
I haven’t, but a good story starts when everything goes wrong.
Enjoyed watching. What make and model shotgun are you guys shooting. I love straight grip shotguns too.
We shoot Browing B80’s. That straight stock is called a field stock. Thanks for watching!
That mustache makes you look 50 years old, but I like the vid!
Glasses are a millennial dead giveaway.
What kind of e collar were you running ?
The Garmin 550 plus
Nevada let’s you hold 3+1 without a plug? I hear four shots.
For upland game, yes. Water fowl you need a plug.
Do you not need a plug in your gun
Awesome video the amount of shotgun shells you guys leave behind kinda sucks I hate seeing trigger trash every where out hunting
Those shells were not left behind. We leave them there until we find our birds so we know where we shot from if we can’t find a bird.
