The level of depth, nuance, and complexity you brought to your character through your performance was phenomenal sir. At 0:10 you can see the facial expression of a man confused about his conflicting feelings over the carnage he has just witnessed. Upon hearing Todd's exclamation of joy and approval, we see your expression at first show further surprise. However, at 0:11, we then see a sudden shift into utter ecstasy. In fact, you actually smile BEFORE most of the rest of the crowd does. This scene masterfully shows a righteous person and his fall from grace in only a matter of seconds. This has never been accomplished before in the history of cinema and television. And not only did he fall from grace, he unknowingly catalyzed the downfall of numerous people around him as well. I initially thought this scene was supposed to focus on Homelander and Ryan. After having watched this episode dozens of times over, I can now begin to appreciate the brilliant screenwriting of Logan Ritchey & David Reed and the adroit direction of Sarah Boyd. All of Season 3 was leading him up to your time in the show sir. You have been intricately foreshadowed as the final antagonist of The Boys and will likely go down as one of the greatest television characters EVER conceived. To say you did a good job would be a massive understatement. You changed the paradigm of televised entertainment forever. I have to admit the best scene in The Boys is when Billy says to Homelander, 'I'm gonna butcher you' and then tries proceed as such. But Homelander is unfazed and says, 'The home has finally landed', and is about to kill Billy but then Hughie comes and brings all the boys in and they say 'We are the boys' and they all use their different powers- M.M uses his milk powers and Frenchy uses the french drugs and Homelander is defeated.
