me too! It was at the old Roker Park stadium though. I wish I'd seen basically any other of his tours though - he said in later years it was the worst tour he'd done, sounded ok-ish for ,maybe half the set but so overblown etc, very grateful to have seen him though, and I did LOVE hearing them play this RIP genius

I was 21, so locked away attending music school, and rush home to be in a basement trying to become the next big guitarist, and paid no attention to Bowie. Meanwhile, here he is at the same time in my life touring with Frampton and Sexton as his axemen. Damnit, would have loved to catch this live.

I have watched my Glass Spider DVD recently, it is awesome! I really love the good mood and the serene performances. Not to forget the enclosed 2CD set with amazing recordings of songs like for example Scary Monsters (interesting to compare with the Outside Tour performances) or the rarely performed All The Madmen. White Light White Heat is a Bowie tour classic, anyway. A wonderful upload, thank you my dear friend!
That was smokin! Very good job on all their parts. So what about the '80s hair dos. I know a lot of people didn't like 80's Bowie but I saw two different shows by him during that time. Glass Spider and Serious Moonlight and both were outstanding. A lot of fun was had by all.

To gkbhai. Taken from "Glass Spider Tour" DVD (released in 2007) from 7 to 9 November 1987 concert in Sydney, during the Tour itself. Highly criticized, almost destructive the criticism at that period and also nowadays, but in my opinion somehow rather unfairly, especially if it’s revisited today, because it was a very innovative event. As Bowie said in 1991 "The Stones' show, Prince's show, Madonna's show... all of them have benefited from this tour". Many thanks.
