In this Grasshopper Script, you can convert a series of Lines or Curves into a Pipe+SubD connection. Inputs Lines : Base Lines or Curves for the connection Srad : Sphere Radius for Nodes Nrad : Radius for the Nodes Ext : Extension of the Lines or Curves Prad : Radius for the Pipes Solid? : Make the final Solids? Outputs Solid 1 : The first set of Solids (Node or Pipes) Solid 2 : The second set of Solids (Node or Pipes) Download the Script👇 parametrichouse.com/subd-connection
Your are being the teacher. This is how I started to work my definitions. I use clusters when needed and nested scripts for the materiality. I learned this type of pipelining in PH channel. The channel and subscription WORTH every single penny. Not only the user starts with a library but such library can be reformed, redefined and comprehended making the practitioner go faster, relate topics and come up with their own library. Grasshopper is the DOOR for Revit. If any of you understand Auto Cad then sketch up follows. If you understand sketch up, then Rhinoceros follows. If you master Grasshopper then Revit becomes a PICNIC because Revit IS exactly this. Revit is a "grasshopper version" of a parametric program for DOCUMENTATION of construction plans, something that can be done too IN grasshopper. As usual, excellent work. Your channel improved EXPONENTIALLY. It's a fundamental database.
Спасибо, что делаете познавательные ролики. Конкретно из этого я понял, что довольно просто сделать наглядную модель в считанные секунды. Яркий пример того, когда лучше потратить время на программирование, чем на моделирование.
This is amazing. I designed a sculpture with 3d printed connectors like these but 10 years ago in 3ds max. Took me forever. This is so much better.... Thank you
Would there possibly be a workaround for this incase I wanted to have a rectangular profile for the curves (not pipe)? I know that this cluster is based of the multipipe node, but just wanted to know a similar case with rectangular cross-sections.
Your videos are very helpful, full of information and with easy way of explanations, appreciated. Great content. I am wondering about your course on the website: what do you offer there more than the free videos on your channel?
Definitely. The solid is a result of solid difference between the two intersecting volumes. We will try to print some examples and add it to the blog post
@@ParametricHouse Have you gotten a chance to try to print these? Is there a way to offset the walls of the connectors to account for tolerances from the 3D printer?
I've downloaded and installed the plugging but when I open the examples files is just lines which doesnt even change radius or something, what am I doing wrong?

Wow, this is awesome. I started learning grasshopper a couple of years ago from your tutorials, and I am still learning it from yours.
Great 🙂👍

Hi, i wanted to know where are the example files? They are not on the download folder.
Excellent

You're welcome. In Paracourse we have extra lessons + a 1000 example file database 👋
have you checked if these connections are watertight and ready for additive manufacturing? would love to see some printed examples

@@hiimbolo yes please, this is what I'm struggling with right now

We will take a look and see if we can reupload it
Hello, It shows multipipe missing, how do I fix that?
Did you find multipipe?
Cubase though
SubD Connection is not working anymore? Brep is not creating a solid
