This attracts thousands of pilgrims each year

I had the privilege of going there this summer.
I was also there this summer. I attended the Traditional Latin Mass where the Sisters sang so beautifully I had tears in my eyes. The experience was heaven on earth.
The property had been condemned and the Diocese could not or would not purchase it. After 3 years on the market, an Oklahoma family purchased it and turned it into a museum. It is very beautiful with an amazing story. Definitely worth a visit.
It is sad that the Loretto Chapel is no longer a Catholic Church, however it is beautiful inside and the stairs are incredible. Go instead to Mass at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of an Assisi In Santa Fe. They do tours of this amazing Church after Mass. The Missions around Santa Fe are beautiful in different ways. In Santa Fe you are a short drive to Chi mayo. This Shrine is an incredible blessing. 🙏🙏🙏
Two more places: National Shrine Of Divine Mercy in Stockbridge, MA, North American home of the Marians of the Immaculate Conception (Fr Chris Alar, MIC, Fr Donald Calloway, MIC). An expansive shrine and church just north of the town of Stockbridge. on Eden Hill. It is also the home of the Marian Helpers Assoc. Then, near Belleview, IL , another large Marian shrine is Our Lady of the Snows staffed and run by the Oblates of Mary Immaculate. It has a full size church, chapels, amphitheater, Stations of the Cross, Annunciation Garden, Resurrection Garden and even an inn and restaurant.
@@GM-bc8kg If you are not driving from home to Stockbridge, MA, flights are somewhat limited. Springfield, is not a big enough hub to accommodate commercial aircraft. So you have a few choices: fly to Hartford, CT and then drive the 40 or so miles to Stockbridge. Fly to Albany, NY and drive (the distance may be a bit shorter); or fly to Boston and drive westward across the state. Stockbridge is a small town (2,000 population) in the Berkshire Mountains of western Massachusetts. But however you travel, the National Shrine of Divine Mercy is well worth the trip. For me, it is vacation/retreat.

the city of Germain in Puerto Rico had a large historic collection of black virgins dating back 200-300 yrs in age from Europe. It was unlikely that any similar collection exists in the world. The collection disappeared prior to 2005 and nobody knew what happened to it. It would be tragic if it was destroyed. Furthermore, the church in Germain is the oldest in the western hemisphere. Pls consider showing it's history despite it is no longer a religious site.

God does not pay janitors, maintenance, parking lot outside or utilities. That's most of the money goes to. If they're really careful, anything left over is used for charity.
