I love the way you guys love food and feed each other. It’s exactly the way my husband and I are. You guys are so sweet and so genuine. Thank you for all the contents!
Greetings Bill and Lisa, This week I am visiting your home town of Southern California. Watched your videos visited the San Pedro Fish Market, had the famous shrimp with Diablo Sauce. This morning took a drive to Farmers Market, ate at Magee’s, Great Reuben Sandwich and dessert at Du-par’s. Howe had a great time. Without you videos we would be lost. Thank You for taking the time to share your experiences. Safe travels….Monica from Texas
I had the great pleasure of meeting you both at Waikiki beach. You guys were very nice and like you said you didn’t bite at all! I really enjoy your videos and very much enjoy seeing a very loving couple just enjoying life together! Can’t wait to watch more of your travels and eating lots of good food 💕
This reminds me of the raspa man in the 60's he used to scrape the block of ice by hand and he would put syrup and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Mmm so good! Have fun guys
Great video! Just missed you two…landed in HNL from Charlotte (10 hour flight) on Nov 2nd. Can’t wait to get to Zippys and Leonard’s today, not to mention all the other delicious food spots. I’m originally from HNL so you KNOW I plan to eat my way around the island during the week I’m here. 😊
I love getting shave ice in Hawaii, there's usually a truck down by the marina and the jellyfish that serves great shave ice. I like staying in Oahu(The land of ABC Stores) for a few days, but I've grown to love Kauai and their accommodations.
Ha-Ha! Your comment about not knowing how us East Coasters deal with the long flight, and with the time difference made me chuckle! We really can't just "zip" off to Hawaii for a few days, and need to make sure we plan to stay awhile. I am literally good for doing nothing the day I arrive, and the day I leave and get home. LOL! Last few times I made sure to do a bit of island hopping and stayed for ten days, and took a few days off after my return to recuperate from the flight before going back to work!
I can attest to the jet lag. I’m in Honolulu as I type this…arrived two days ago after a 10 hour flight from Charlotte, NC. I will be “good for nothing” after getting home next week, at least for 2 days. That time difference is terrible. Woke yesterday at 3am, stayed up all day, and it’s now 2:30am On my second day here. TOTALLY worth it! 😊
Next time you stop by L and L Hawaiian bbq in torrance, HIGHLY RECOMMEND getting the THREE'S COMPANY PLATE (and add a sunny side up egg to it) it is BY FAR the best plate for 2 people to share. it comes with chicken katsu, burger patty w/ gravy, and kalua pork. double rice and mac salad. add the egg, and that burger patty with gravy just became a loco moco! My wife and I cant believe we have been going for so many years, and never noticed the Three's Company Plate until last year. so many meals that could have been improved on!!! if only we knew sooner. LOL
I so enjoy watching your food adventures and especially when you’re in Hawaii, specifically Oahu since that is where I live! If you want a good “musubi” next time you’re in Hawaii try out Mana Musubi in the mccully/moilili area, very close to waikiki. They have a wide variety of musubis, it will be difficult to choose which ones to get. But the musubis are not that big so you can try several different ones. The rice to filling ratio is perfect and the owners are from Japan so they pride themselves on perfectly cooked rice. Their shop is small and clean. But they only open Monday through Friday from 6:30 am-12:30pm or until they run out. Not sure their Saturday hours. They used to open later in the morning but may have changed since the pandemic. Gotta get their early though for the best selection. Yelp them, they have very good reviews. Oh and their prices are pretty good too! Keep up the great food video reviews!!! Aloha 🌺
Next time try Aloha Kitchen in Waikiki. Always a line there so it's best to go about 15 minutes before it opens. Then I walk over to Kulu Kulu bakery on Hobron and get a Diamondhead puff for dessert.
I am wondering what kind of food you can take through security for eating on the plane. There is not much available at KOA and it is a long flight back to Minnesota.
When you do a series of vids from the same trip, it would be awesome if you linked all the other vids in the series in the descriptions of those vids :)
YTS is fickle, Hansen. Sometimes it accepts links and sometimes It does not. Believe me, I have tried copiously to put links into my commentary and most often, I fail!
Done at your departure gate by an agent. Just make sure your email and phone number are both verified on the Hawaiian safe travel website and you get your QR code in your email from them.
Did you guys know that Zippy’s is supposed to open in Las Vegas if it hasn’t already!!! Now you guys can stock up on frozen chili and bring it back home cheaper!!
Wow you guys pack a lot of fun in one small getaway! Great video. Lisa I would like to compliment you on your cute tops. Do you make them yourself? Have a great day and I can’t wait to see where your next adventure takes you two
Hey bill hey Lisa!!! Love your content!! I was wondering in January I want to go to Hawaii for my birthday is there a “all inclusive” hotel or resort?? Thank you so much!!
We've been wanting to go to Hawaii, but do you feel that it's safe now with covid? We wanna go all out not sure to do Hilton there on the beach or Astoria in Maui 🏝
Shave ice is good with red beans too. But have you had halo halo (Filipino version of shave ice) or Patbingsu (Korean version of shave ice) or Jade snow at the Redondo Beach Pier? Hotels should be held to a rule on what they can call ocean view so you know what to expect before paying for it
Yes, had with Azuki beans, we like that too. Had Halo Halo, but not the others. We knew our hotel was a couple blocks away from the beach, so our expectations weren't that high.
I love the way you guys love food and feed each other. It’s exactly the way my husband and I are. You guys are so sweet and so genuine. Thank you for all the contents!
What a blast. Scenic and such a dream.😎🍀👍. Fried spam on toast with mustard and cheddar slice is soo good.
It's so great to see the two of you travel around the world. So wonderful for you to take us along with you. Thanks for sharing.
You two appear so respectful to each other. My wife and I appreciate you guys.
All the hawaiian classics! Musubi's shaved ice, and Loco Mocos yumm

Sounds fun, Donna! You know all the foodie places!
I'm from Nebraska and I love mashed potatoes like you love rice. Loco moko over mashed potatoes would be delicious!
waiola shaved ice...yums I miss zippy's too.
The steak looks good on the other vlog. Musubi time. The chili looks good.
You did so much I felt like you were there for a week!
This couple is industrious, no doubt and resourceful, as well. Kudos!
Have you folks reviewed Rainbow Drive Inn......always visit when I go. Shoyu chicken and chili and rice w/mac salad my favs.
Sure have! A classic! 24:49 ua-cam.com/video/jErSXJUZ2aA/v-deo.htmlsi=ce4XX6FZSHvLkU-D

It's so good!
I'm not a spam fan but that looked good and that Loco moco yummy!! Can't wait to see our next adventure for Thanksgiving!!
A lot of Hawaii reminds me of New Zealand and their culture.
So cute.. you guys make me laugh. I want a tshirt that says, its called art, look it up haha
I love Iyasume's musubis. We get variety of them to eat while we're walking around Waikiki.
I go there all of the time when I am in Waikiki
I love getting shave ice in Hawaii, there's usually a truck down by the marina and the jellyfish that serves great shave ice. I like staying in Oahu(The land of ABC Stores) for a few days, but I've grown to love Kauai and their accommodations.
16:05 Grab and Go breakfast looks fantastic.
I love Loco moco
You got to try the shaved ice 🍧 at Aloha General Store up on the North Shore, yummy 😋 the best
Thanks for the tip!

10 days in Hawaii is perfect!
@@billandlisa A week minimum is my Go-to but, staying in hotels is quite pricey, so ...

You should show the cookie shortbread spot with the samples. Love those cookies :)
You should also try Ice Garden in Aiea Shopping Center

Any food you want, just no liquids, gravy, sauce, etc over 3 oz.
Just curious, what was the name of the place with the long line up around 12:45. Bill said it very quickly. As always, we enjoy your content! Thanks!
Marugame Udon
Are the portions bigger when you eat in at Zippys? Those bowls looked so full. 😁
The frozen packages are petty good size, so I'd say they're about the same.
Actually you get more when you take out at Zippy's.

Question for u guys... what steakhouse do you recommend in Vegas????
Lots of good steakhouses in Vegas, but if you can only go to one, the Golden Steer is a good option.
damn that's a long flight
Greta video guys! We are travelling with delta to Hawaii next months how did you do the pre clear in lax? Thank you!!

Bill you are a loco moco tease!
Hi B&L, Love U Guys!
We need Foodland in OC or LA County!!
Agreed! And, a Zippy’s!!
Aloha Bill and Lisa, I can bring in food past the gate to the plane at honolulu airport? That would be great. East coaster.
Absolutely! Just can't bring any liquids, sauces, etc over 3 ounces.
@@billandlisa that is awesome.☺🌴
Food Pantry in west Waikiki sells individual slices of Ted Pies.
19:50 How do you present your vacc card. Digitally or the Card itself?
Either, they check it along with your photo ID.
@@billandlisa Thanks

Yes, heard about Zippy's coming to Vegas, the pandemic put things behind schedule. Looking forward to it when they do open.
Dang I never knew you could bring any kind food back home on the plane to LA 😏 next time I’m doing what you guys did and bring a cooler 😉👍🏽
Just no ice packs, blue ice, etc allowed (counts as liquid/gel, 3 ounce max).
❤️❤️🥰👍

Try the KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) at Zippy's. Tasty!
Zipack is $10 now? Inflation..🙄
Congrats to the Atlanta Braves.
What a crazy screw up at LAX. No wonder Bill was 😤.
Loco Moco 👍👍
Did you guys rent a car or take the bus to get to these places?
