Who's here the day after a heavy gym workout? Yesterday, I did a gym workout for the first time since lockdown began (4 months) and my whole body is on fire today 🤣 went heavy on the squats on the first day back and my quads are sore AF!

Wow, no wonder we need so much protein and nutrition after big workout days.. your muscle literally need to remove and build new! great video, thank you!
having light soreness is great, but i got extreme soreness for 2 days after my 1st workout in like 2 years. I couldn't touch my own face without searing pain, my triceps were absolutely destroyed... this is not great at all lmao
This video actually explains something but people will find this bored but this actually helps so I’ll give this a prop because it actually makes since
just need to give your body three things 1: Antioxidants to deal with oxidative damage caused by removal of damaged sarcomeres 2: Plenty of macronutrients (protein, fats, and carbs) to repair the damage 3: Keep a healthy immune system so your white blood cells can remove damaged sarcomeres more easily. That would include, but is not limited to, avoiding hydrogenated fats as these have been seen to cause dysfunction in white blood cells.

I get so many foot cramps when I'm in bed. Whether it be when I'm about to sleep, after I wake up from sleeping, or even during sleep, they always happen when I'm laying/sitting down. Pro tip: If yall ever have a foot cramp (and you'll know when you do cause they're painful af). Just stand up. Seriously. The pain will subside so much quicker than if you stay laying or sitting down. My dad taught me that and im never going back to the "trying not to move it" method. F that method, it sux 😂
Not exactly, in the most basic of explanations; when we lift we cause muscles to tear apart. Not majorly, but enough to where we can injest higher amounts of protein to fill in those gaps that we tore. Depending on your goals I would look into particular plans that will shred your muscles in the most effective way for you personally.
Been having pain all over my body like if blood doesnt floods. I exercise everyday 2 hours and just yesterday my legs been feeling a burning feeling that's move up to my whole body.
Not a physician but here a few things I can say, make sure that you are stretching areas that you are working and make sure not to over work muscles because that can actually make building muscle harder. Make sure to keep well hydrated and take some warm showers or baths. And of course get enough sleep.
It's been a year since i have done rigorous and strenuous activity. And it's been 3 years since the last time i was snowboarding. It will recover just wanted to see why and what happens inside the body.

I have Myalgic Encephalomyelitis and I think my muscles react this way when I'm in a flare up. I'm almost unable to walk with my muscles like this. Does the burning leads to muscle growth? that’s all I want to know, like is that saying no pain. no gains. true or not?
Not exactly, in the most basic of explanations; when we lift we cause muscles to tear apart. Not majorly, but enough to where we can injest higher amounts of protein to fill in those gaps that we tore.
Depending on your goals I would look into particular plans that will shred your muscles in the most effective way for you personally.
Working to failure points (at any rep count) is proven the most effective way to build muscle
True muscle damage can take week to repair, thou good thing since tendons needs time too to get stronger. Let it repair and hit back gym when done.

I don't think you're supposed to do 2 hours of intense working out
And last thing is to give your body the ability to heal because the muscle has to grow. So space out the days that you are working out.
