The easy way to think about it: cc2 is budget version, master forge is super premium masterforge has snap action switches, there's a video on them but they're way better, that's the biggest difference.
Awesome! I kind of want a CC2 now. Although I do need to admit that I don't get the Master Forge at all. Assuming it can do the same things as the CC2 (can it even, or is it a "handsome" CC1), I see no reason why I would prefer pointy edges and corners over the rounded shape of the CC. That can't be comfy, can it? Anyway, CharaChorder is awesome, and I can recommend it to anyone.
Can you make an explanation video about the investing? I would love to know your thoughts on why and how you plan to open your business model to investors. How it is going to help you and how you are going to remain independent etc.
Just found you guys, excellent idea, but dont like the whole Robocop industrial design ethic. Are there other options on using a wireless Corne keyboard with an integrated mouse?
I don't know if CC0 is going to be open source, but since its powered by CCOS and CCOS is opensourced, I think theres a good chance :) As for the extent of CCE and flashing code, those are two pretty different questions. Yes, you can load a UF2 file onto a CC2 or Master Forge (or at least you could the CC1, lite, and CCE and I can’t think of a reason that would change) - as for “the extent of the CCE”, do you mean the embedded microcontroller/microprocessor in the CC2 and Master Forge, or do you mean the standalone CCE - the standalone CCE is simply a mutlichip module which communicated back and forth with a separate microcontroller to both handle key matrices / inputs as well as send HID to your PC. The standalone CCE can run the same CCOS as any of their other products and I have found mine to be remarkably interesting and fun to experiment with in putting into keyboards, however, I’ve lacked the time to be able to make full use of it recently. I will say, there’s a somewhat steep learning curve (and I’ve read quite literally every message in the CCE channel and been around the community for nearly two years). Great people, wonderfully interesting product and I wish I bit the bullet and got a Master Forge despite the price while it was available on kickstarter. ps. Hi Riley, I’m still waiting on those detailed instructions, video tutorials, and examples from 2022 :) jkjk I love you guys and the team and community has always been wonderful and responsive… it’s partially my own fault for not responding to your emails 😂
So glad to be able to experience the con on video! Can't wait for the m4rge!
Love the music on the master forge. Congratulations for your progress!
Edit: 2 cores with a 200 Mhz on a keyboard like the CC2 is insane
Insane in the dust repellent membrane 🤯
Aphit's live stream in Discord was super appreciated, but the quality of this video was a little bit better 😂 Great work, CC team!!
Love that @NF is the music and excited to be part of this kickstarter!!
He was #1 on my wrapped this year 🥇
Haha you guys are great! Keep up the amazing work! So happy to be along for the ride! 🎉
truly fascinating work. I look forward to incorporating the master forge in my EH training
Awesome stuff. Congrats! Looking forward to receiving my Master's Forge.
21:30 look ma! it's me!
🤩
Love the team work!!
Super excited for the build-a-chorder!!
it was so cool to attend in person. thanks for the swag
We're so glad you could make it! ❤
love how during the video for the master forge we see Riley with no sound pointing at his head and clearly saying "at the speed of thought"; epic
Wait what... Where? Lol
@@CharaChorder : A few seconds after this: ua-cam.com/video/yh5c10bW7z0/v-deo.htmlsi=VCJyn2pnpHH_sGJK&t=785 . Starts at 13:09. Super cool. :)
very nice! kudos!
Glad to be part of this amazing adventure.
Stupid question: what's the difference between the Charachorder 2 vs Master Forge?
The CC2 is a successor to the CC1, while the Master forge is part of a new line of keyboards (as far as I know)
The easy way to think about it: cc2 is budget version, master forge is super premium
masterforge has snap action switches, there's a video on them but they're way better, that's the biggest difference.
Highly requested content right here. We're working on it!
I eagerly await the moment when they all employ the charachorder to communicate during that particular stage.
Please make a video of Riley typing this song, keeping up with NF. That would be super cool
FIRST! Glad to be part of the journey!

if astrid is reading this, that would be so cool. haiii.
I'll tell her you said hi
Is the CC0 open source?
Also, what is the extent of the CCE? Can I flash code into the CC2/Master Forge directly?
