You used Swiss world title that I typed in the comment section. Thank you Taureor for doing that 😊!
Also, 999th like 👍
Shame to see you taking money for scam fake games like age of origins
Prenaunce helvetia like Helvezia🇨🇭🇨🇭
Historically accurate
In Swiss German we pronounce it Hélvézia in English it would be Helveesha.
Btw, i think they heavily nerfed what you're going for here.
But it's a latin locution and we have to say it "helvessia". The "ti" is pronounced /ssia/
I actually didn't know that you'll get your current president as your country leader when creating the Alpine Protectorate, but I just happened to have Mr. Furrer elected when I finished the focus. Safe to say luck was on my side that day. Also I didn't see the video yet, but I hope you are doing the 100% trickleback Immortal Swiss Guard build 😆
bro I always rush that focus it’s ridicously op I’ve killed over a million axis and allied soldiers by just losing around 90k swiss troops
Yeah I didn’t know either and I ended up communist for some reason. Super ridiculous but I got the achievements I wanted anyway
@@wilkic2 for some reason the communist path is almost always super op
@@i-am-a_person8598 it wasn’t even a communist path. I had 0 communist support. I just did the left hand path but the guy who was president, (who gave daily democracy!) turned me communist when the focus finished
The immortal what build? How do?
jak się pobawiłeś z dzieckiem, to dam like
Pobawiłem :)
To też daję 😂
Being ruled by Switzerland? Works for me...
And go to jail for heating your house too much
Concerning the 'Taking over the Allies', I had the same issue with Lithuania. Playing as non-aligned, I assumed that the entire faction would operate as non-aligned once I took over the faction. It didn't... somehow the Allies will be Democratic, no matter who runs the faction
I believe they changed how the focus tree works, you can’t do any of the pro Helvetia focuses while having council in control, same thing with the defense plan tree.
yeah, I went through that same issue.
Switzerland: "YOU WILL ALL BE NEUTRAL OR ELSE!"
Taureor is finally playing my glorious country
"Romania has war goals against Romania" is such a good example of brilliant comedic timing in your editing.
Just a little note, you can return the territory to Italy and you’ll keep your cores in the north
"Dad will you play with me"
"They gotta do as we say, and if they don't, we can station troops in their territory, kick them from the faction, and have them destroyed for it"
My man just described any paradox player's dream
Love your content ❤
Thank you!
The little girls voice in the background was saying : dad, will You play with me ? That was cute interuption in a process of conquering Europe

@@Tezak thx
You may or may not be aware but the Theatre Training Spirit of the Academy from Grand Battle Plan gives: "New Officers: 50% chance to begin with Brilliant Strategist or Inflexible Strategist trait." Also giving the pretty neat: "Terrain traits XP gain: +20%"
Germany coming back from the dead in France was some next level absurdity
That's a genuinely interesting use of collaboration government. Not just a puppet, but a puppet for free. Good to know!
great video, again! when you got Furrer as country leader, you can still appoint him as an advisor, so get the 20% research bonus twice, they are cumulative (I don't know if this is intended, maybe they patched but a few days ago I could do this). and when you are lowering the other members war prticipation by sending them lend lease, send them fuel. if you have enough civilian factories to import from the USA, you can send them back their fuel as lend lease and still they accept :)
Fun fact: There actually have been multiple instances where Vorarlberg tried to join Switzerland. Due to the Arlberg that separates Vorarlberg (which literally means "before the Arlberg") from Tyrol the people there are culturally and linguisticly closer to Switzerland than Austria or Germany.
Yeah like
"In May 1919, the population of Vorarlberg was asked to vote on whether to join the Swiss Confederation. More than 80% of the population voted in favour. However, this integration never took place.
One hundred years ago, on 11 May 1919, Switzerland could have expanded by almost 2,600 square kilometres. On that day, Vorarlberg voted on the opening of negotiations with Switzerland on a possible integration. The result: more than 80% of the population wanted to join the Confederation. But the victors of the First World War did not see it that way. The Treaty of St. Germain stipulated the dismemberment of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The attachment of Vorarlberg to the Confederation was not on the agenda, and during the negotiations it gave rise to great controversy. For example, Italy demanded that if the Swiss border was changed to the east, it should be given Ticino as compensation. The Vorarlberg vote was not taken into account, and the region now belonged to Austria, which was proclaimed an independent democratic state after the negotiations.
In Switzerland, reactions to the vote were also reserved. Certainly, there were some supporters of the union, such as Federal Councillor Felix Calonder, who advocated an active and ambitious Swiss foreign policy. Or like the St. Gallen state councillor Ulrich Vetsch, co-founder of the Pro Vorarlberg action committee. The politician's motivation for the integration of the border region was mainly transport policy, as he dreamed of Eastern Switzerland becoming an important transit area. However, Calonder and Vetsch met with fierce resistance, not only in the Federal Council, where Edmund Schulthess in particular was vehemently opposed, but also in the French-speaking part of Switzerland, where there were fears of integrating another German-speaking canton. Opposition was also strong in the Protestant regions, which were afraid of endangering the fragile confessional balance in Switzerland.
Although four-fifths of Vorarlberg wanted to become Swiss, there were also some sceptics. The reluctance came mainly from business circles. Many entrepreneurs were looking to the German market, which they hoped would provide important outlets for their products. There were even plans to merge Baden, Bavaria and Württemberg to form a new Swabian state. The pro-German regional government of Vorarlberg was also not keen on the region being integrated into Switzerland. However, in view of the net result of the vote, it was forced to reluctantly open negotiations with its western neighbour. And since the Swiss did not really want it either, the popular will of Vorarlberg was buried. Thus, after the peace talks in St. Germain in September 1919, the region remained Austrian.
Felix Calonder withdrew. The political struggles over the possible incorporation of Vorarlberg into Switzerland cost the Graubünden Federal Councillor his political career. In a speech to the Council of States, he had taken a particularly radical stance, to the point of angering the Germans, among others. He reproached them for their imperialism and urged the upper house not to let them have Vorarlberg. The Federal Council distanced itself from this position, thus accelerating Calonder's political isolation. Calonder resigned in 1920"
you can get brilliant strategists trough grand battle plan spirit
Good video bro, keep up the good work ❤️
Always happy to see a new Taureor video.
Fun fact: you don’t have to intimidate France or Italy for the alpine territory! The chances they give it to you normally is extremely high.
The irony of Adolf Furrer beating Fuhrer Adolf
nice clip keep it up you are the best!
Love it❣❤ from Romania 🇷🇴
It’s always a good day when Taureor posts a video 😄
@@Naval_cut I watch a ton of random stuff lmao
What a focus tree. It's all annex this annex that by event.

Winning the civil war as UK, while at war with the dominions just lets you take all the dominions in the peace deal. Using this, I was able to form the Imperial Federation by Jan 37. Check it out!
9:34 I'm not sure if paradox updated the game since you recorded this... For you, the only condition is, "Canton's is the active side in balance of power." This allows you to go as far left as you want without being locked out of the focus... While for me, that focus, and the rest that follows, demand that you have at least 0.0% towards the Canton's side. If I go all the way to the Council's side, or any further than 0.0% from the Canton's side, I can no longer complete those focuses. Does anyone know why?
I have the same issue unfortunately
I have this, I believe they updated the focus tree in the latest patch bc Switzerland was completely broken so they have heavily nerfed it.
@@jupiterproductions6644 dang...
THANK YOU. Was watching this and saying how the feck is he getting those focusses while being fully FP. ZZz. Video is already useless.

Outdated on arrival. Can't do canton focuses while being fed council anymore.
4:50 I mean Furrer was once an employee of S.I.G. but at that time he was head of the W+F so it doesnt make sence.
I was wating for this🥵
i feel as if switzerland got shafted in their focus tree
It is convoluted, but powerful
you kinda need to study it and plan a route rather than just go in wanting to do a path
Yes, that was a bug. There is no longer a way to replace the council twice. I just tried it
The Swiss Focus Tree is amazingly overpowered! That much political power with all that free territory and bonuses
swiss person here: an upcoming swiss movie called "mad heidi" is about the plot of this switzerland
Pretty easy when you have spirit of St Bernard. Unleash the clone army
This game made me mad spent 2 whole days turtling on elite Ironman and I almost researched all the focuses and built up my army and industry just for Germany to conquer the world in 1953
When the chocolate and cheese tastes way too good
You can get gold from both the allies and the axis, it maxes out from 6 investments with 3 from each of them. You could probably not get axis gold due to germany not being independent or fascist.
Taureor, can you please share your division template? And how you do order 66? I see you sending troops to defende Germany territory, but then the same troops are invading Germany. How you do that? You didn't wait until the troops are stationary on Germany territory? And attacking Italy with mountaineer troops is easy, but Hungary, only one division is not enough for me. When I try execute order 66 I send one division to garrison Germany territory and 4 division ready to attack Germany. And 2 division attack Italy and last one Hungary. But failed. Help me please

The whole neutrality thing bugs really badly sometimes. I got that too after the political choices to do stuff to keep them thinking I was neutral were gone. Didn't affect my playtrough at all tho.
Swiss German pronunciation would be something like Hell - ve (as in VEneral) - zi (as in fighTS) -a (short as in Aknowledged)
Defensive Strategist > Brilliant Strategist. Cloak has convinced me of this.

Anyone know how to give your new puppets land in the peace conference when you just puppetet them in that same conference ??
if you struggle with manpower, spirit of st. bernard is a godsend
9:47. Really a country famous for its neutrality criticizes another country for declaring neutrality, I was thinking 'that is rich coming from you.' I would have thought that Switzerland would approve of another country declaring neutrality.
Taureor, your child brings me so much happiness when he interrupts you throughout the video
32:32 for anyone wandering
I'm Swiss, but "Helvetia" is actually Latin and you should pronounce it "hel-wet-ya".
I still don't get it how everyone has so many divisions even before 1940. I must be doing something wrong.
Aside from the big amount of troops, is there any way to influnce whether France and Italy say yes or no? since it kind of kills the run when Either of them say no. Its kind of annoying :(
Ah yes Switzerlake momentum in hoi4 momentum 100
I believe the pro Helvetia is based on the tribe that lived in Switzerland and fought the Roman’s

Anyone know how he was able to exceed the special forces caps at 15:45?
Yeah, wtf. No idea. Up to that and it won't let me.
Sultanate of Aussa world conquest run
your voice could soothe a raging bull
Anyone else think it’s ridiculous how the new dlc work now, why would fascist italy be chill with giving up its most economically developed region to a few mountain people with rifles, as well as France and Austria (why would Germany even let that happen) game is all about chance and national spirits rather than war now, war is secondary factor in this game … each new DLC is cringe
How to pronounce Helvetia: Helvetsia (I wasn't able to find which letter corresponds to the polish ts, but you get the gist, I hope)

Yup. Like why even play the game if all you gonna do is use trash exploits? Beat Germany for real. Not that rubbish.
Tried the code to support you channel, didn't work :(
Switzerland's design is weird because it's a small country, a minor surrounded by dangerous countries, and rather than buff it in the usual ways that other focus trees do, PDX just gives it ridiculous spirits and temporary effects like +20% research speed or +50% construction.
It certainly makes it unique but I'm not the biggest fan of this design philosophy, making such huge exceptions to the core gameplay for a country. If you put it side by side with, say, New Zealand's tree, it begs that EVERY minor be given these huge exceptions to become alt-history powerhouses no matter how unlikely that is in reality.
Is the speed 1.5 or something? You sound like you drank 10 coffee or something
