- Today I wanted to surprise the guests of a French Restaurant in Paris.
But while I was playing piano, I didn't expect that an Opera Singer would join me !!
After some time, the whole restaurant started singing and it turned into an EPIC OPERA 😱

My step mom is a professionally trained opera singer. Her oldest daughter as a baby and toddler would have been crying in her arms if she did this. I think her voice was too loud for her sensitive ears.
So no he's not afraid, and thankfully this song isn't very high, so no high notes to hurt his little ears. But she probably should have asked someone not singing to hold him. Babies ears are sensitive.

Wow.. you found a gem of a restaurant in this clip. I wasn't expecting the whole restaurant would join in with the chorus, and the soloist was more beautiful than words can express. Her little one must love opera music, and his momma must be an professional opera singer.

I don’t know if it’s staged or not, but it shows the high level of musical culture French people (in general), have.
Over 30 years ago while in Rome I took a cab and in the radio they were playing “Recondita armonia”, from Tosca by Puccini and the cabbie a middle aged man, started singing quite well and followed it almost to the end.
That shocked me, and in the conversation he said he had attended formal singing classes years ago.

@@eddominates Lets be fair. It's not uncommon for members of a choir or an orchestra to go out for a meal together after a practice or a performance. It's still probably staged though. :P

Das Elias-Oratorium ist zwar keine Oper aber es ist klassische Musik und kommt dieser sehr nahe. Obwohl es schon über 4 Monate her ist, muß ich immer noch an das Mitsingkonzert denken.
