I managed to get 4 out of 6 lottery numbers right once back in June this year, after several weeks of thinking of a set numbers in my head and trying not to think of the other numbers being drawn, I got there in the end and won £74.
I used to regular win comfortable amounts before they added the extra ten numbers in. Presumably they only did that because the lottery was too predictable and too many people were winning their money.
@@gargaduk No, it's not luck. At least when I regularly won money. The lottery is predictable. Like everything. God doesn't play dice with the universe. Nothing is random.

I had the exact same doubt. If he had a member of the group do the calculation it would be easier for me to belive that it was a genuine prediction. Since the group didn't even see his calculation it is much more likely that it was his trick.
WRONG. He didn't do any calculations and the random balls he put in the tube at that point were not the same balls that were in the tube after he opened it and compared it to the winning numbers.

He repeats the trick of predicting numbers that are written somewhere 'outside of reach' (coat pockets, balls across the room etc) often. Like in his chess piece trick, the lottery trick and the knife foot trick to name a few. I bet they work in a similar way and it is more than likely camera work and some hidden helpers. Although I still have no real idea how that is done
Here I am, reading all of the comments and listening to people so pissed off and questioning, did he use a split screen and if he did, why is he lying about it? Is he just a showmen? Is Darren just doing this for entertainment???? Oh my gosh people... Darren is an Entertainer / show - men, or whatever you would like to call him, but a psychic, medium, Mentalist Etc. He is not and he's made that crystal clear in so many of his broadcast, shows, interviews and documentaries.. I'm just seriously curious... What more do you people that are pissed at him, what??? I should also mention that I, in no way, mean any disrespect with that statement, however I am seriously curious, that's why I asked that question. In my opinion, Derren Brown has done more than anyone else that I can think of on UA-cam and in stage shows that we're able to watch on UA-cam about people who are fake, charlatans, scammers, lying ass psychics , mediums, mentalist's and let us not forget that lovely Russian gentleman that claims to be able to make the blind see lol, lol, lol!!! I just had a fabulous idea... the Russian and Joe the jackass / psychic need to go on the road together... That way they can double team the crowds and audiences and really steal them blind - pardon the pun - !!! ! ! It would be like killing two birds with one stone! Just think if the Russian and Joe the fake really put their heads together, who knows maybe the next thing they can do is teach people how to walk on water - eyeroll - I am a person who knows Karma exists and also knows that Karma never forgets an address... Suffice to say karma will be paying a visit to those two assholes houses maybe the next thing Joe will do as to of his broadcasts he's done more good than anyone else that I know on UA-cam, when it comes 2 showing the real charlatans, shit heads, scammers Etc.!!!! In my opinion, if people worried as much or more about our country, as opposed to Darren Brown. Thank you, mr. Derren Brown, you're wonderful, hard-working, intelligent thought provoking, exciting, and just plain fun... Don't let me forget, very good looking. 😉 😗 Again, thank you for all that you do. Sincerely, Colleen Darren had a split screen we'd be in a lot better shape!
check out James Randi who is a magician and illusionist who has offered for over 40 years a 1 million dollar reward to anyone who can prove any form of psychic ability. There is the James Randi skepitics foundation, he has spent his whole life exposing these charlatans. there are many many videos on you tube from over the years of people attempting the changeless , he was the one who destroyed Uri Geller and continues to destroy him. James is quite elderly now but hopefully will continue his work for as long as he can, i have often thought who could take over the role and testing for the foundation and Darren would be an excellent choice.
Well...many, many ways...the most obvious would be if everyone picked 2. 48/24 = 2. Or 23 people could pick 1, and the last could pick 25. You get the idea, there are probably millions of iterations. Anyways, that's not how he did it (it was #3).
they didn't, if you pay attention the first two lotteries they did they always picked numbers between 20 and 35. then with the automatic writing he let them use any numbers, including negatives.
Ah, ok. You have to wait until the end for the actual plausible explanation. Gentleman and a scholar, Derren. Thanks. Still leaves a few questions but that one satisfies the curiosity a lot better.
Me: Asked to do the cup stamping thing with the knife (mouse), randomly choosing the cups. Also me: Whips out a scientific calculator with a random number generator facility. Derren: Uh....
The explanations of how this was done are both clearly nonsense. The "prediction" must have been created after the numbers were drawn. I suspect it was simply a split screen camera trick, where the left side of the screen was showing pre-recorded footage and the right side was live. This would allow someone to run in and place the predicted balls on the stand before switching the left side to live too. The continuous movement of the camera is clearly used to try and disguise this, but this will have been done digitally, the camera wouldn't have really been moving at all. If you watch closely, just as Derren is writing the numbers down, there is a few seconds where the camera goes perfectly stable. I suspect this is the moment the left side of is switched to show the live footage.
i just went back to inspect and actually the movment of the camera after the freeze seems to also show it was a digital sway since it seems to first check 3 axes indiviually for a short time before properly restarting. i could be wrong and im no expert to clarify but i would love to hear from one honestly

Otis Chin I do have to admit that it looks like the camera is steady the whole time but they added a digital shake up until the mentioned point in time. When I did this stuff in Adobes After Effects using the wiggle expression, the camera shake turned out similarly. You might want to search a tutorial on camera shake in After Effects. Especially the older ones should feel similar.
I believe you are correct... the switch occurs between 4:55 and 5:00. If you jog between the two positions using left/right arrow keys, you can see the left-most ball shift position vertically. The split screen was removed between these times. Then the live camera begins panning and zooming. Though I'm not so sure about how they matched the camera movement between images. While the camera is moving during ball selection, there is some slight parallax between the ball stand and the background wall. This would be very difficult to match in a live situation, and would reveal the split-line. Its not a digitally moved still frame. Something more elaborate is going on.
Coin flip wasn't fair. Unless the guy got HHH from the start he could never win that round, because every other then. combination would start with tales before the row of heads would start, so she would have to win.
This trick was done using a gimicked electronic set of balls that could show any number you wanted them to display, everything else in the show was pure preformance, with the teams reaction as the final crescendo.

His explanation at the end wouldn't the balls react differently to a real lotto when they roll as they weigh more. So you could see if he did do it that way or not?
This was openly his most hated trick and really show he pulled. You could probably blame the writers for this one, but it's odd to go through with it seeing as how different it is from his other work.
I think the knife under cup trick is very standard Derren Brown (might of even been an idea from an earlier show they reused here). Its could be a clever subversion of his Russian Roulette trick. Since instead of him (seemingly) at risk of being shot in the head, he's instead (seemingly) risking Matt's bare feet.
That coin flip trick is obvious: you can't have HHH before THH unless you throw HHH at the start of a run. So the probability of HHH winning against THH in any one run is 1 in 8. An actually fair way to play the game would be to only look at combinations of three. That is, restart the sequence of coin throws after every three throws. Then all eight combinations are equally likely. This isn't "deep maths" -- it's simple combinatorics.
I'm not afraid to reply to a 2 year old comment, haha. But yeah, it was both fortunate and unfortunate that the game was played with HHH being selected. Even without knowing "deep maths" its pretty easy to figure out that guess is a horrible one so a lot of viewers who don't know the trick probably picked up pretty quickly that unless dude wins in the first 3 flips, he's done. In fact, they did this 11 times with that crowd? I'm guessing the crowd was coached/edited to keep acting as if they believed their encouragement worked. If you were there, you'd surely figure out that by round 3, the lone opponent was gonna lose as soon as the first tail appeared. So its unfortunate in that the 'illusion' of that stunt probably was sussed out quickly by a lot of viewers watching. But it is fortunate in that it provides a super clear example of exactly how the rest of the trick/gimmick works, that every combination has a perfect counter to it. I wonder if maybe it would have been better had Darren allowed the guy a one time chance to switch his combination if he wanted. Maybe that would have just given it away even more? I don't know, ha But yeah, the 'fair' way to play is as you suggest, that you flip 3 at a time, then reset the game. But I'm pretty sure the original intent of this game was to be one of those 'scamy bar bet' types that you take to people to win free drinks or easy money.
I use CC - at 6:06 does he really say the "bonus pool is mainly for women and gays"? I've watched 2 of his videos. This was going to be the 3rd but if he is Homophobic, then that's it for me.
I heard it too but I’m guessing he’s a gay male. Straight men rarely if ever, mention gay men because they’re obsessed with women. They don’t want to attract gay males and they want gays to make sure they know that. So yeah, it’s homophobia whether he’s gay or not. If he’s gay, it’s internalized homophobia.
Broom Is all that merely an act that actually works to set us up for the "big finale win" so we buy into the fact that he really was capable of predicting due to Maths/odds ??
Me and my friends tried to predict the lottery using the wisdom of the crowd method. It didn't work, not even close. Also got a random number generator for the lottery to guess a number of times and the averages for those didn't come close either. In fact the mean of the generator guesses and the human guesses were very close.
Obviously. The wisdom of the crowds can't work when you're trying to guess a random event. It works for guessing the temperature of a room for example, because there is actually a temperature there, and people don't pull out numbers randomly, they try to get as close as the actual temperature as possible. The average guesses is close to the real temperature because people's feelings and faillure of intuition cancel out.
The reason it doesn't work is because wisdom of the crowd only actually works if there's some value that people can at least estimate some perception of (example, the weight of the ox), and that error is uniformly distributed in both directions. The lottery numbers are not even remotely close to this kind of phenomenon.
Lotto numbers are picked by machine matching others that were sold already. Its not random in any form, and is known where the ticket was sold within seconds of the cut off..If it was random numbers you would probably wait years to get a match to another purchased lotto ticket..
I have a question what are they adding? When they do the group of ppl in the lottery? Adding everyone’s guess for the first ball n divide it by the number of ppl in the room? Or does it have to be 24 ppl?
Derren , it is fantastic but my problem is I am a ghanaian and Ghana lotto is 90 balls, can you help me to win cos the game is very very tough for, to win.
Derren, why did you pick a 2 on the “predicted” numbers though?:) with 24 people a 2 as number does just not sound right, and is way too likely to spread doubt between the viewers even before the part that was definitely not the reveal of the trick.
If they mostly chose 2 it’s still 24? (2+2 +3 +2 +2 +2 +2 +2+ 2+2 +2 +2 +2+ 2+3+2 +2 +3 +2 +2 +2+2+2+2)/24 yea some 3’s people are random but it’s still 2
@@JJ-Streaming yeah, but he himself could have probably done it with a other number too, and with suggestion, if you ask people to pick a number between 1-10, 2 and 9 will be often answered (bcs between) so I feel Darren who is way above that level of suggestion could have picked a more difficult number. Or did he do it cause he used a different set of techniques and wanted to deflect from it? I really like Darren's performances, but with this one the use of the number 2 is a little bit like a riddle, just doesn't sound right
@@Mickey-wh4di maybe 🤔 it’s definitely a weird one! Whose up for trying his method to win the lotto? Split 24 ways not too shabby if u do it on a decent roll over!
@@JJ-Streaming its a trick by Darren, but I'm down to try just for fun, and for how many people would be absolutely shocked if we actually got lucky and won😂
So Derren says at the start, in a very wordy way, that he’s lying. Then the rest of the show is a brilliant performance of him making you believe he predicted the lottery. By the way the “fixing the machine” is a distraction, his balls (no pun intended) were the tricky balls.
Why do we not see the balls / numbers before they go into the opaque tubes? Why are the tubes opaque? Why are the predicted balls not readable until after the lottery? Because this is an illusion, not a prediction.
"from the rather shiny HQ" he says while standing in an abandoned warehouse for his show Dont need to know anything about psych to know that he might feel a bit envious
So the lottery used two main numbers and the bonus ball from the previous draw. For the next draw, three new number's were drawn. Making coming up with the winning combination, a lot easier.
People are getting grumpy that an illusionist is lying to you? Of course it's a trick! Otherwise he wouldn't have been the one working out the last means. Imagine the significance of this if it was real, the automatic writing, the predictability of chaos.
For every Derren Brown video there are always a bunch of people calling him a liar and seeming to be shocked that what he does is a trick. He never claims to be psychic or do magic. But people gotta hate. I don't like when he does this "oh my God I'm not sure I can do this" bit, though. I know it's part of the manipulation but he always overplays it!
If i was the guy who did the stand on knife test, and Derren just went 'yep' at 500,000. My biggest thought would be "damn, i could have gone higher" Lol
The thing that I enjoyed most was the magician/conjuror/illusionist who did the usual version of this (mouse) box trick, having a long sharp spike under one of them. He miscalculated and slammed his hand right down on the box containing the spike.
I'm intrigued. Does anyone else want to put a group together to replicate this study? I live in the US, so preferably a group who's all going to be focused on the same prize.
It's not real, the explanation is part of the misdirection. You can't effect the outcome of randomness by merely thinking as a group. The maths remain the same. If you, Triple Gem, managed to get 4/6 then it was purely coincidental.
@@koolrula6945 You can't affect the outcome of randomness by thinking you can as a group. It does nothing. You're better putting your collective energy together and build a business and making money that way.
"All of us believing we could do it is what made it happen. I think we're a brilliant team." This is the power of humanity working together for a common goal.
@@DefeatLust That's classic misdirection, casting doubts... in this way, the last thing that stays in our head is the idea that the machine was truly and physically manipulated.
Technically he told you what he did at 1:13 referring to split screens. He never said you were wrong in your conspiracy theories. He then spends the rest of the show explaining other methods in which it could be done. He told you, you just didn’t realise it.
Seems plausible. The thing I don't understand about this is his lottery prediction show clearly seems to have been filmed with hand held camera. I don't know how this would have worked with a split screen technique
The coin trick is not caused by the group of people. It is more likely to flip THH when it is a choice between only it and HHH. Also, his strategy for guessing the numbers for the lottery doesn't make sense, as it would weight the numbers more towards the middle numbers or the higher side, as most people will avoid writing negative numbers. And it would weigh the numbers more towards the middle than the higher side. That said, it's just as likely one of the winning balls is 1 as it is that it is 12.
Also the time before when they got 4 numbers. Truth is could say its 5 numbers since one would never pick 63, since you can't, so there's a likelihood that one would just swap the numbers from 63 to 36 and therefore wine 5 out of 6
Its painful reading these comments and how far off everyone is in actually figuring this out. As he said. Its a trick. So what was the trick? Well all prediction tricks are done in one of two ways. Either by what's called a "Force" or "Multiple Outs" A force is, as the name suggests, when the trickster forced the predicted outcome. Like when they tell a spectator to pick a card any card but use sleight of hand to always force a known card on them. In this trick that is impossible. Because we know the winning lottery numbers were truly random. The second option, "multiple outs" is when, after the predicted result is uncovered, the original prediction can be changed to match the actual outcome. That is why Darren didn't reveal the prediction before the actual draw. So, what happened is this. After the draw was done and the numbers announced he changed the numbers inside the tube to match them. How did he do this? That is a matter of speculation. Most likely he had an assistant off stage who was able to pump each of the balls into the tube one by one after they were announced.
So as for the Public if You want to see if this really works, You can try to build a True Random Draw and Follow the Steps Derren has. To Bash his Show and not have Proof is just not right.
I'm interested in putting a similar group together, just to try to replicate the idea. If we split the jackpot between one or two dozen people there's a couple million each, but hey even 2nd prize is pretty good for $1 million. Though I wouldn't argue at all for a 3rd prize to collect $10k Or $50k. Anyone else like this idea? Wanna replicate it?

At 33:13, the experiment carried out and described as Crowd Wisdom has nothing to do with the lottery numbers. Nothing. All lottery draws are "Mutually Exclusive"
that's what I thought; but since this is Derren we are talking about, What if he didn't do any of the options; what if there is a fourth? I wouldn't put it past him! 😂
"Matt I'll explain the game there are down there 20 polystyrene cups...you're gonna stamp on 14 out of 20 leaving six untouched" 14/20=0.7 so in the frist round Matt had a 70% of squashing a mouse with his bare feet.
@@nifralo2752 in the first round Matt has a *1 in 20* chance of stamping on a knife or mouse (if there was a knife or mouse under one of the 20 cups). 1 ÷ 20 = 0.05 = 5%
@@nifralo2752 in the second round the likelihood that Matt will stamp on a knife (if there was a knife hidden under one of the cups) is 0.95 × (1 ÷ 19) = 0.05 = 5% i.e. the probability that he *didn't* stamp on a knife in the first round, multiplied by the likelihood that he'll stamp on a knife now that there are only 19 cups
So it was obviously done with split screen (I saw a video explaining it very well). Then he performs 1 live-trick. Then shows a couple of videos, the last prediction being ‘calculated’ by himself so no one else could verify it with the live stream. For once, I’m unimpressed. He left out the part about the split screen effect which concealed the stand as someone placed the correct balls onto it. Must have slipped his mind...
Those 24 people who can predict the 6 lottery winning numbers in the show should create a lotto syndicate of their own to predict and buy an actual ticket to see if they will hit the jackpot. I bet they will not correctly predict all 6 winning numbers.

No it's a re upload as derren has recently been uploading his full length episodes too UA-cam. You can also tell in people's style as well as well as the bbc broadcast
Derren! Please explain why there is a fake reveal and a strict denial of the split screen method? I would love to think that you have something that we all missed!
Here's what I think: The first two drafts are pure probability. The third draft is total bs. What are the odds of getting 02 from average? Close to nil. Now that I think of it, we haven't seen much low or high numbers being guessed right in the first two drafts (04, 07, 02, 36, 41). Hm, I wonder why... ;)
That's part of the act. Ofcourse it's splitscreen, but when you explicitly deny it it makes for a better illusion. It's a pretty standard part of a lot of routines, because if you rule it out before the audience thinks about it they probably won't think of that solution again.
Immanuel Jerom He actually explains this in a brilliant interview with the Magician podcast. He came up with a brilliant theory which would have looked bad for BBC because it made it seem like the lottery numbers were able to be predicted. He secretly wanted the knife in his foot.
If it was me i would have asked to 50k and been like lets get this knife in my foot ,put on banjo music and hill billy stomp that knife into my foot . It would heal .
and would have been pissed when i could never have won .
@momin Molla what I'd your secret formula sir momin to win the lottery please give me a guide.im here in the philippines I want to win the lottery games. Thank you
Well it's not like he'd need to buy a new pair of shoes
Hell I would have done it for cheaper too. Given Darren paid for the ER bill.
Maddie O'Keeffe where would hidden helpers come in to play in the knife trick? It seems to be as bare as Matt's feet.
Predicting the numbers _after_ they’ve been chosen is not much a prediction is it?
The best way of winning the Lottery is to enjoy the things it pays for...
So well thought out. Brilliant editing. Thanks so much.
No DERREN is an entertainer, not DARREN.
How, even after all these years do people still get it wrong?
Derren Brown is brilliant at what he does, this concept would've been PERFECT for Hannah Fry to explore.
How could an average of 24 people's guesses ever come out to be 2?
Well...many, many ways...the most obvious would be if everyone picked 2. 48/24 = 2. Or 23 people could pick 1, and the last could pick 25. You get the idea, there are probably millions of iterations. Anyways, that's not how he did it (it was #3).
ua-cam.com/video/X09oxyIeGuY/v-deo.html
they didn't, if you pay attention the first two lotteries they did they always picked numbers between 20 and 35. then with the automatic writing he let them use any numbers, including negatives.
Back in 2023 to watch this! ✨🎉 such a cool magician!
It’s crazy I picked the boxes in the exact order right before she did
Daniel Aviles were you scared watching the video?
Ah, ok. You have to wait until the end for the actual plausible explanation. Gentleman and a scholar, Derren. Thanks. Still leaves a few questions but that one satisfies the curiosity a lot better.
I can't remember the wednesday show, i saw it, but i've forgotten, is that on YT anywhere? Seeing that again would be interesting.
you mean the one that precedes this one? ua-cam.com/video/eHUoQLG7O-o/v-deo.html
YES the one that precedes that one. The one where they actually decided on the numbers they were going to use.
Me: Asked to do the cup stamping thing with the knife (mouse), randomly choosing the cups.
Also me: Whips out a scientific calculator with a random number generator facility.
Derren: Uh....
derren: "i've put a mouse in one of these boxes"
me: "do you mind if i use my own mouse?"
derren: "uh?"
"i'm writing out a cheque for £500,000 in case matt fails my test"
"like the knife my cheque is made of rubber"
"i'm steralising your feet because of what's about to happen"
"er, what MIGHT happen, surely?"
Thank you for this explenation.
Good morning, what is your pedictions lotto 6/58 Philippines thank you sir very much good bless you always....
This trick was done using a gimicked electronic set of balls that could show any number you wanted them to display, everything else in the show was pure preformance, with the teams reaction as the final crescendo.
I would say forget the show, and just win all the lotterys.

His explanation at the end wouldn't the balls react differently to a real lotto when they roll as they weigh more. So you could see if he did do it that way or not?
They weigh the balls each time before they go into the machine. That was a joke explanation.
If you want to learn the best method for winning the lottery go here now: HotLotto.xyz
Barry Rodriguez have you used it and actually won ?
I don't know, ha
But yeah, the 'fair' way to play is as you suggest, that you flip 3 at a time, then reset the game.
It is a video trick. He used a split screen. Search for: captain disillusion derren brown part 5
That's what I thought.
correct
So how do u explain the mice, cups etc ?
Broom
Is all that merely an act that actually works to set us up for the "big finale win" so we buy into the fact that he really was capable of predicting due to Maths/odds ??
Em_xo xo im only talking about the last part with the lottery balls
Really love it
Me and my friends tried to predict the lottery using the wisdom of the crowd method. It didn't work, not even close. Also got a random number generator for the lottery to guess a number of times and the averages for those didn't come close either. In fact the mean of the generator guesses and the human guesses were very close.
then there must be a pattern to the numbers the lottery machines pick
And at times won't have a wining ticket to make people think it's not a controlled game, and some actual believe that.lol
The coin trick was a markov chain trick, it was mathmatically proven to be more likely.
Derren asked: how can I predict a lottery answer: edit it with a robot camera make a guy change the number then crop the guy out
why was he shouting 'no no no no' to the crowd at the start?
FluffyTurdz they were giving ideas on how he did the trick.
I think he pretends that the people want to touch him, as he is so "famous" just kidding... he has humour...
To stop applauding him. In his humour, he's not famous enough for that!
It's like he didn't want anyone to touch him ,, he's full of himself..everyone will be a winner if they listen to him...
@@sg-yq8pm maybe to you
I have a question what are they adding?
The excuse is that the participants were allowed to write negative numbers too. But obviously it was a cod explanation.
"from the rather shiny HQ" he says while standing in an abandoned warehouse for his show
Dont need to know anything about psych to know that he might feel a bit envious
That’s the joke, that warehouse was sold for 30million and is now flats.
This is amazing
Who try it at 2019 and who is a millionaire? :D
@onamika luna have you bought and used this system?
How did you like it?
How long have you been using it?
How much have you made?
For every Derren Brown video there are always a bunch of people calling him a liar and seeming to be shocked that what he does is a trick. He never claims to be psychic or do magic. But people gotta hate.
I don't like when he does this "oh my God I'm not sure I can do this" bit, though. I know it's part of the manipulation but he always overplays it!
Its uncanny..Darren looks just like my friend in the USA and his last name is Brown.
If i was the guy who did the stand on knife test, and Derren just went 'yep' at 500,000. My biggest thought would be "damn, i could have gone higher" Lol
Well that's a lot of money especially to someone who has no shoes or socks on!
Derren knew their was no knife. You could have said a billion and he would go 'yep'
The thing that I enjoyed most was the magician/conjuror/illusionist who did the usual version of this (mouse) box trick, having a long sharp spike under one of them. He miscalculated and slammed his hand right down on the box containing the spike.
That's why Derren Brown decided to change it so it be that boys bare feet that were at risk
Good idea bro lets do this team work make the dream work got to be positive..
@@koolrula6945 You can't affect the outcome of randomness by thinking you can as a group. It does nothing.

@@hughchapman5319true you need 2 locked off cameras for split screen on something live
Your Own Empire well he’s said it won’t work if you’re motivated by money lmao so how can you test it😹

If Derren did do option 3, how would he know the exact order in which the balls fell?
that's what I thought; but since this is Derren we are talking about, What if he didn't do any of the options; what if there is a fourth? I wouldn't put it past him! 😂
I don't think he did; there's a lot of skepticism about that idea...
16:23 "Matt has a 70% chance a knife will go through his foot" how did he work that out? There's 20 cups
"Matt I'll explain the game there are down there 20 polystyrene cups...you're gonna stamp on 14 out of 20 leaving six untouched" 14/20=0.7 so in the frist round Matt had a 70% of squashing a mouse with his bare feet.

very suspicious indeed, to inconsciously take into account what you're hearing when you're 50% sure you'll put a knife through your foot
Was it in 2017 this published on that day if so it’s wrong ?
No it's a re upload as derren has recently been uploading his full length episodes too UA-cam. You can also tell in people's style as well as well as the bbc broadcast
Send me the info I would love to hit the lottery I play every week and I do not win that one time
Hey
Derren!
Please explain why there is a fake reveal and a strict denial of the split screen method?
I would love to think that you have something that we all missed!
Yea... almost makes you think most of all he does is fake/showmanship.
*hint hint*
Here's what I think:
The first two drafts are pure probability.
They kiboshed it so he had to come up with an embarrassing cod explanation which he wasn't happy with at all.
But how do we know he's not just saying that to make himself look better in hindsight?
I like how someone disliked the video even though it came out 7 minutes ago, and there is no way they could have come to the conclusion that this video deserves a dislike
It's been on TV before, maybe they saw it that way
Simon Keane thats true i forgot about that
Maybe they got a group of people to averagely predict that the video would be shit before hand.
There used to be a thing called "television", and this was on that first.
edie I like derren but this comment was funny
I wonder how many people came here with an expectation of actually learning how to cheat at lotto.
You telling me you didn't watch this a few times to pick up any details you might've missed?
You really didn't catch anything?
Me
I like a strategy,I will follow the instructions
Question is, did he bought a ticket with these numbers he predicted?
Ofc not, as it was all just a trick.
Derren, this episode isn't about lottery prediction. It's about team work and bonding people together . Though 2 is almost impossible it is not improbable for all 24 people to choose 2
I had the same exact doubt. No way that the average of 24 random numbers would ever be 2! He was lucky that number 1 didn't win that week 🙃
Yeah and with an average, I think the repartition of the numbers probabilities are like a Gaussian curve so less probable to the extremes
Minus numbers are allowed. He adds the numbers together and then divides by the number of contributors
Its not about angela, its about martin with no support. He felt it, it does speak of confidence
Why did he shout NO like 3 times when walking to the stage at the start?
