Vib-Artist is Vib-Ribbon, Mojib-Ribbon, and Vib-Ripple in one brand new game, you can import music, images, or even text files, or heck, create original ones from the built-in editor.
When playing one art mode, the game shifts to one style according to the media, Music Mode is the classic Vib-Ribbon, Picture Mode is Vib-Ripple, and Calligraphy Mode is Mojib-Ribbon
They should remaster Vib Ribbon for the PS4 and maybe PS5. Such masterpiece needs to get more attention

I have Vib Ribbon; a friend who didn't want it let me have his copy many years ago. It's one of the jewels in my collection, and like you, I used to play LOTS of different CDs with it. Fantastic game.
I saw Mojib once, but never played it.
No mention of how the PS1 disc doubled as a music CD, meaning if you just wanted to listen to that soundtrack, you just pop it into a CD player. Can’t do that with the PSN download though, I’m pretty sure.

Been jamming to the music from this game on car rides, burned all the tracks to a CD.
Dan have you ever seen Rhyme Rider Kerorican? It's basically a portable version of vib ribbon for the wonderswan that came out a year after vib ribbon. Surprised no mention of it was made in this video as it too was created by the same dev team.

Vib ribbon is a fun game, i still got my copy from back in the day.
Picked it up for a quid as an ex rental from the local blockbuster.

Vib-Ribbon really deserves an HD Remaster!
Here are things that needs to be in the Vib-Ribbon Remaster!
1. Cross-Gen and Cross-buy: The Remaster must be a Cross-Gen title for the PS4 and PS5 with Cross-Buy support, where PS4 owners are entitled to a Free Next-Gen Upgrade.
2. Resolution and Frame Rate: The Remaster must run at up 1080p at 60 on PS4, PS4 Pro and PS5, 4K at 60FPS on PS4 Pro and PS5 and 8K on PS5.
3. Brand New Courses: In Addition to the Original Three Courses (Bronze, Silver and Gold), brand new courses featuring music from Nana-On Sha's games, including PaRappa the Rapper 1&2 and Um Jammer Lammy, alongside courses featuring music from Masaya Matsuura's 2013 studio album, "Beyooond!!!", must be in the remaster, with the previously unreleased song "Rainbow" from the Vib-Ribbon Vinyl Soundtrack.
4. Custom Music and Courses: Due to the PS4 (and possibly PS5*) lacking CD support, The Remaster will include Spotify Integration, where players can use the songs on their Spotify Playlists to generate stages and make Custom Courses!
This idea of using songs from your Spotify Playlists in-game was used in another game, "Dangerous Driving".
Players will also get to use their own music saved on the PS4's Hard Drive, the PS5's SSD or Through an External USB Storage Device on both Systems.
The A.I. used for Generating Stages with the music will need to be Improved for the Remaster.
5. Multiplayer and Leaderboards: The Remaster must have a Score Attack and Survival Multiplayer Modes with Local Split Screen and Online Modes for up to 2-4 Players and Online Leaderboards.
Tell me what do you guys think of these Ideas?
*Important notice on Section 4: At the time of writing, it was currently unknown if the PS5 could support Music CDs.

If vib ripple ever gets remade and translated it would work well on all 3 major platforms becuse you can import images via usb or wifi but you can also use screenshots of other games

I remember seeing this game in the early 2000s on TV when they were talking about obscure gamed on G4. Never forgot about it and always wanted to play it
I had a demo-disc with Vib Ribbon, among other things. I loved it.

I have it on my ps3, Though the controller input is a little late, Still doesn't beat the fact that the game friggin awesome, I mean hell, you can make your own game via music, Whats not to love? oh and a cute'n cool protagonist too! Wish I knew where my copy of Vib Ribbon has gone. That game has gotten a little costly over the years and mine has vanished. Such an odd gem of a game. Used to play it with everything from Beastie Boys to Sepultura in there.

I know that it got a sequel as Mojib Ribbon but I have never heard of Vib Ripple before. Also if Sony ever reads this comment then an HD Remaster of these games and call it The Vib-Trilogy Collection all remastered in full on 4K + HDR @60FPS.

Ha ha good one but still it's a good idea for the core fans of PlayStation. I would like to see other PlayStation IPs be brought back like Blasto, Jet Moto, Toon Racer, Pet In TV and Legend Of Dragoon.

First time I've heard of this series. The games seem weird but unique and fun. I could see a three game collection being successful if it was reasonably priced and still had the feature to import your own music/pictures.

It was great the idea of using a rhythm game with the vibration lines of the music, you can even get out the Disk of the game, and get a random disk of music into the PS1,and you will get a level, the possibilities of levels are infinite, well, not infinite, but tons and tons
Maybe it could return as a mobile game. Hold your phone sideways, two buttons on each side, maybe a way to import songs from spotify or other means. Sounds like a good deal to me.

I was always curious of the first game on PS1 and wished it did come out in the US. Playing the game with my music sounded very intriguing at the time. But I could imagine the difficulty. If this is on the PS Store for Download, could folks still use their own CDs to produce levels?
Anyway, I was unaware it had sequels. No doubt people use pics of their private parts in Vib ripple, lol!

Hopefully i find a PlayStation 1 to get those experimented games. Those games gives me that feeling of creators making it with passion but now its highly strict for ya know content and parents complaints
I thought the picture one got an overseas release only it was altered a little as in I am not sure it allowed you to enter your own pictures now. Wish I could remember the name but im not going to dig through that many old magazines to find it.
