I have a question, i run my series x through the capture card, it works but when it comes to first turning on my xbox i have to constantly unplug and replug the hdmi lead to get it it work sometimes this can take 30+ minutes to get signal its been like this since day 1 any idea why?
Bruh, I had this capture card for nearly 2 years and I couldn't get it to work properly since I've had it. Tonight I decide to look up on how to get it working again and I find some random new video and got it to finally work LMAO. What fixed it for me was going to the Nvidia Control Panel and having to enable it from the there. You are sent from GOD himself to end my curse, thank you bro.
hey so its workinig for me to a sense...i have done all these but its just showing my home screen from my gaming pc...doesnt show the games or whatever when I open them.
@FragileTvGaming hi friend, however, I am encountering another problem after a while of using the internal video acquisition card 4k60 pro m2 it stops working, I have to restart it and it works then it takes less time and stops working again, even sometimes it splits my screen which I'm acquiring I also tried to change HDMI cables but nothing, what could it be? Thanks in advance
Currently can only get the PS5 to display in OBS and 4k capture utility , but my actual monitor has nothing coming up unfortunately, which is extremely weird . Never had this issue before , ever 🤔??
You have to disable HDCP in your settings when you want to capture gameplay with a capture card but remember having this disabled won’t allow you to use curtain apps like Netflix, UA-cam, etc. so make sure you enable it when you go to use those apps if you use them on ps5

@@FragileTvGaming Welp... I have to PS5 gameplay displaying on the monitor, but the Elgato isn't a selectable device within OBS. I'm not sure what to do there.

Could be that your capture card setting are different from your Xbox (like resolution and fps) or just try unplugging it and plugging it back in. I’ve gotten that screen a lot with capturing in console and unplugging it and plugging it back in helps most of the time.
Dude for some reason I cannot duplicate my screen!!! Is it because of the amd graphics card in my gaming pc vs a nvidia card in my streaming? SOS SOMEONE SEND HELP
Okay go to your settings on your gaming pc then system > display and at the top there should be a screen that has two boxes one labeled 1 and the second labeled 2. Below that it should say Identify and beside that there will be a box with these four options “Duplicate these displays”, “Extend these displays”, “Show only on 1”, “Show only on 2”. Make sure you select “Duplicate these displays”. Also make sure your streaming pc is on or and your capture card is plugged in or this won’t show up.
You don’t need a capture card if you are using a one pc setup all you need is the obs software or some other recording software to record your gameplay
Make sure the Elgato is plugged into your streaming and gaming pc property and make sure your streaming pc is on. Do you have Elgato sound capture? It should come with the Elgato game capture software you need that to get the audio to work right.
@@FragileTvGaming okay ty, and yes I do. I go to the “pc gaming” section on the software (on my gaming pc) and it doesn’t give me an option to send the sound to my streaming pc, just my headphones.

I’m not sure I don’t record or stream from an iPad. I don’t think the capture card is meant to record an iPad or smartphone.

Will this work for a quad monitor setup???
Yes it should still work

anyone know why the capture downscale when games are in fullscreen?
Not sure
why do people have two separate pcs for game and streaming?
Because it allows you to game at a higher quality and fps because you don’t have your recording software taking up resources on your gaming pc
