3 years ago I had a goal to make $3k a month by the end of the year with my eCommerce business. But then I journaled and asked myself the questions: What if I had to make 10x as much, meaning $30k a month?
Then I came up with a plan and asked myself, why not follow this exact plan?
Long story short, instead of making $30k I ended up making 'only' $22k which could be seen as a failure, but it was way better than shooting for the $3k initially.
Journaling and asking the right questions is so underrated, so thanks so much for teaching more about this topic!

This is so true! Asking questions is your number one sales tool. My first question is always... “So... What do you think?” After having already welcomed them into my art gallery and having paid them a genuine compliment about something they are wearing. Then my goal is to help them find what they are looking with follow up questions. This is a million dollar formula all day.
Thank you Patrick for your willingness to teach!!

Questions are conscious, and answers are unconscious. We can control questions but we respond spontaneously to the task of answering, even if we are doing so only in our head (we read a question in a brochure and it gets us thinking). The unconscious self is emotional and that’s where the sale is made. Amazing video.

Questions lead to the answers. I'm a sales coach and one of the main reasons some salespeople struggle is bc they don't ask enough of the right questions. Questions that create urgency and questions that uncover pain. Great video Patrick

What a timing Pat 😃 I have spent the last month educating myself about that specific subject. I own a graphic design agency and I want to not only improve the closing numbers but also to learn more about my clients. The final goal is to impress my clients, first by asking great questions (which makes them think that I really know what I’m doing) but also getting them great designs - BASED ON THEIR TRUE NEEDS, not only based on what they think they want but more of what they truly need but didn’t know yet.

On the other hand i think the idea of him getting feedback and constantly updating the course by uploading new content like he said he would do is smart.

For instance, you are studying about the theory of evolution, then while reading textbooks and other sources, what are the right set of questions to ask myself while doing this exercise that would help me get a good grasp of the concepts and connect the information with the already jargon of information that I have. If anybody has any source or any link that would address my problem, please do share.

if you ask a question and each one has 2 possible answers the that means when you are at question 14, there gonna be 16384 possible answers and scenarios ... is too much to plan every step

I like the substance however only addition I would make is this should be less about the science behind the question and more about the science behind the solution. We, in solution finding (aka sales) are helping warm blooded humans solve problems by understanding their needs and finally selling the solution in exchange for value. In professional sales the only reason why we work is to solve real people's problems. To do so you must uncover what that problem actually is, Patrick hit on that. To do so you must mine the emotions of the human seeking the solution by getting them in the mindset to out the problem. I didn't really like the study on how many questions are optimal. The number isn't as important as the quality. Ask questions like a miner searching for gold, it's in there and every question is like a swing of the pick. Not every gold core is in the same exact spot in every mine. The questions should be used to triangulate where the problem is located and out it. It starts tho with rapport then trust and credibility. No prospect is letting you in that mine unless they like you. Then they must trust that you will find the actual problem AND that you mean well and have their best interest at heart first. SOLD
