Can you believe I saw them at a theatre in Deal kent a couple of years ago and they didn't play what i consider to be their finest track. It's a beauiful song. I will never book to see them again
What a pleasure to see and hear Mark Birch again after his great contribution to the Live Dates 3 concert in 2000 in Shepherd's Bush. it is a huge loss that this particular musician no longer performs live. Sad.

Although I am more a fan of Martin Turner than of Andy, I am happy to admit that the vocals of Mark Birch AND the bass line that Bob Skeat developed fo this song make this version better than any other I’ve heard, especially much better than the studio version! Fantastic!!!

I’ve seen WA probably close to 15-16 times and I have never seen them play this song. I understand now - the vocals for this song are just not suited for Andy’s vocals. I get it - and obviously Andy does too but hats off for bringing in Mark Birch to sing this great song - with fantastic guitar work from AP.
