      That car was really cool. I wish I would have had a chance to go look at it. Cameron and Kevin told me how cool that car was. See you next year!

    So much fun to watch. The best part is watching you include the kids !

      Thanks for watching and enjoying the video.
      Absolutely. Those kids are the future of the hobby. They need to be included and not shunned away.

      @@ShadeTreeVintageAuto you’re welcome. I’m not sure. I’ve got a few cars to finish up. There is a car I’m building on my channel called Down N Dirty. I want to try out in some “drive and drag” events. That looks fun. Like Rocky Mountain Race Week. But I’ll try…. Building cars, starting a UA-cam channel, going to the events, and holding down a full time job isn’t easy!!! 🤣
      Sorry someone stole your guys stuff. That’s messed up and not what this hobby is about!! I hate that!!

      It also very much complicates and delays the build process. But it’s fun. I’ll check out your channel.
      Was pretty shitty that someone took off with all the tools. It was at the hotel, so didn’t tarnish the car guys at the event.

    I was looking forward to seeing how the Dart ran at the track. Not too shabby at all considering its condition. Too bad you didn't have some stickier tires. Then again, sometimes traction = broken parts.

      I would have liked to have seen what it would do with sticky tires. But overall, I was extremely impressed with how well it did after sitting for over 20 years.

    Hope the thieves choke on the steaks and wreck their knuckles on the tools, sorry to be nasty but thieves need a lesson to be taught to them. Other than venting I enjoyed your video.

      Rite!!! Really sucks. But the whole weekend was such a blast. So I am focusing on that.

    sooo.....you wrecked your car......got your tools stollen......spent a fortune on gas......and had a good time ?

    • @ShadeTreeVintageAuto
      @ShadeTreeVintageAuto  8 місяців тому +2

      Didn’t wreck it. Lost the water pump. Still tan over 20 passes with giant smiles on our faces! Tools got stolen which totally sucks. And yes, we spent a fortune on fuel and time. But what an amazing experience hanging out with old friends and making new ones. Hanging out with a bunch of other people that just love cars. So yes! It was an amazing and fun time that I would do over and again. Probably lock our tools up better next time though. :)

    Mopar's are far superior to anything else. Kinda a joke. A big false joke. I have a Mustang GT that will mop anything you have. Also unsubbing seeya

      You’re unsubscribing because someone has a different opinion to you?
      I have a 1973 Mach 1 and am a FORD guy, but that dosnt meant I can’t enjoy someone who likes Mopar.

      @JohnWBeechey Great comment and I agree 100%. I alway's give my Ford friend's grief and they give it right back to me. I'm a Mopar fan, but every company built great car's. I still have fond memories of my older brother's '64 Falcon convertible and '65 Comet with a built 289.
