      @@Mazeppa6 I agree- book 3 has the muscle change classic parts1/2 or the Diamond Body- which gave rise or set the foundation for iron vest/ironshirt/ironwire/goldenbell - while the monks were developing these other self protection methods- Bodhidharma was already having the monks practice the Yi Jin Jing or Muscle Tendon Change Classic or the Diamond Body which also raises testosterone ie. like bodybuilding.

    I used to stand a lot. I walked 4 km and took 3 trains and a bus then I often stood at home as I had tons of energy. I lived on the 6th floor, no lift. This is a well-known method in China. Lean forward onto the toes for instance energy and lean back for the kidneys.

      explain the last sentence. why would one lean for the kidneys? and did you mean instant energy?

    I am genuinely, respectfully curious. I am a female martial artist, in life.. not just in class. I am a westerner, which may be more of a detail in this than not. I am also relatively scientific in my approach to health and longevity. I say this because I firmly believe women are NOT small men.
    I have practised a hard external kungfu for over a decade and have come from a karate/kickboxing background. As i've aged my practice becomes more measured and dare I say has a more 'internal' focus to take me into my later years of life. I'm nearly 50 now, but am by no means ready to resign myself to the 'soft' taiji, breathing and meditative practices, exclusively. Which I feel is what is suggested to be suitable for the female.
    I am not boyish in appearance despite having worked hard in my many years of martial practice. Neither do I lack the other female traits attributed to being a woman. I practice qigong.. I practice Luohan style qigong, along with Ba Duan Jin. Yi Jin Jing. Breathing and standing practices.
    What is your message here? genuinely, what is the message..

    • @_....J........................
      @_....J........................ 3 роки тому +3

      I agree, there's a bit of mixed messaging going on here: the conflation of the social category of Gender with the scientific biological category of Sex; BUT in order to teach us a basic scientific fact that the higher the intensity of physical training humans do, the more testosterone and cortisol our bodies will release and re-absorb.
      It feels like the far-right Western culture war is here (aka the fascist creep). It's not explicit, it's only there for those who can read in between the lines - that's the point of a dog-whistle.

      It’s about the context. The Lohan gong Yu Shan talks about is not the same Lohan you can find everywhere else. And hard qigong he describes is not the same hard qigong that is commonly practiced. The real fighting qigong has pretty much disappeared, esp in the west. Doesn’t mean a woman can’t practice martial arts and hard methods but there are Qigong methods out there that can have detrimental/undesired effects on males or females if practiced too much hence some methods are not recommended for both genders. But ultimately it’s up to the individual (it’s your body). Most hard qigong / Kung fu people can find is not what he is talking about

      Lady Allton you seem like a nice, loving, compassionate, soft spoken woman- have you noticed how Eero's voice has changed. Women will have a deeper voice, missed periods, smaller breast, it would be like maximizing your testosterone... and probably other things on your body to be monitored as women have alot more going on with hormonal changes meant for a yang body, masculine body, an male body. i could see you doing the External kung fu course program for your external kung fu, the Grand Circle for health/longevity. Practicing the goldbell qigong, you would probably be walking around like an amazon- not saying that they are not beautiful, but the mind is changed also- a warriors mindset- which may lead you to hate or see men as the enemy love. If you want to do it, but have your medical doctor/a psychiatrist monitor you closely as far as hormones (libido), mindset, and outside appearance as well (body structure), sexual activity (I've had to practice the mabu with feet facing out or parallel to lower my drive and you would lose your menstration and ability to have a baby, you need special breathing). I feel he's saying a woman may want to force her husband to have sex do to the increase. The man is easier to control because of the higher testosterone naturally a man can handle, but a woman becoming a raging bull, juts be careful if you decide to go there, your husband may literally have to be the incredible hulk lol to protect himself and have the endurance to keep up with you. I hope you understand what I'm wrote. The movie Species is what your relationship and life would look like as I can see as far as the sex drive you would have, the strength, ability to control/overpower a man naturally instead of emergencies if he is not trained also like you to level things out. Somethings should only be practiced by men and somethings only practiced by women. I hope this helps, if you do practice go slowly, monitor your physical appearance/strength and mental state. Peace Valkyrie Twist;)

    I wish I could learn the Lohan Grandmaster is referring too. I’ve been looking into learning Kung Fu form for a couple of years. But haven’t decided on one, or better put, God hasn’t revealed it to me yet. Last year I learned despite my drive I have very low T for my age, height, and lifestyle. Mostly nutritional. I need to talk with my Grandmaster to see if he knows of any Lohan styles that could help.

    Very very interesting. I know the story of how the Wing Chun System was created supposedly by a Woman. I know it’s just a story and almost certainly not true but just for instance if Wing Chun was created by a Woman and for Women could it possibly or potentially be bad for a Man to practice it ? Because there are some elements of Chi Gong within the Wing Chun System ?

      And don’t almost all men and women have both testosterone and estrogen in their bodies only in different proportions. And some of the hardest outcomes arise out of very gentle so-called soft style energy paths. This duality can be seen for example in properly trained aikido players. Very powerful defenses that do not depend on size or strength. And I believe all martial arts likewise have Yang masculine components and Yin feminine components. Some masters say that are to toughen the bodies of men too focused on masculine power to grasp soft arts. After years they get their first idea out of their systems and they begin to develop a soft but tremendously capable counterattack in almost all situations.

      It's different: in men, testosterone is primarily responsible for happiness, and motivation. Men has estrogen too, but in small quantities. In Women, happiness and motivation is handled by androgens, and estrogen is responsible for maternal instincts.
      Biologically speaking, since both genders rely on a different chemical compotation to handle the same emotions, both would naturally have different ways of handling it. For example, if a certain activity increases testosterone, it is essential for men so they can feel motivated. For women, increasing testosterone is not as essential. I mean, low T would be bad for both men and women, but much worse for men. Similarly, certain activities lead to a boost in androgens. Men can do them too, but they will obviously be far more beneficial for women.
      By the way, this is why masturbation is such a problem for men but not women. Masturbation makes men feel demotivated and tired, but does not have the same effect on women. So we cannot have that conversation in a gender neutral sense, since the activity affects both men and women differently. We could say the same regarding martial arts.

    These videos are trying to sell you stuff. All kung fu cultivates chi. Train,eat a balanced diet, meditate, stretch, walk as much as you can. It's that simple. UA-cam channels won't tell you that because they want to sell you stuff.

    • @Vahvafitness
      @Vahvafitness  8 місяців тому

      Every boxing club teaches the same techniques. Yet, there is a day and night difference in the results and the skill / teaching level of the coaches. Unlike modern medicine, Qigong and Kung Fu do not have a standardized form of practice which is why the results can vary from being harmful to level 100 depending on the teacher. The ancient masters had a solution to this: lineages and the masters before them. Only by learning from a guarded lineage you knew the stuff is high quality and beneficial, everything else could have been scam or complete nonsense, which is exactly the case today by the way. The material ranges from complete scams to the real authentic stuff that has real lineages behind them. If someone dedicates 4 decades and massive amounts of money to learning something, I don't think there is nothing ethically wrong selling his expertise. You rarely see doctors or trainers helping others for free either because everyone has to eat.

      I practice both. I'm not saying this man does not have amazing skills and talent. I'll tell you when I started to doubt him. His hands, iron palm, and body conditioning are things I've practiced for years. Evey kung fu teacher I've trained with says the goal is to condition without causing damage. His hands are deformed because of the conditioning he has done. There is nothing healing about that.
