- random vid, i'm not really making much Elden Ring content since i'm trying to enjoy my blind playthough. Its been tough with bows only lol, but heres Messmer with bow + Shotgun Crossbow in phase 1. I dont think this is spoilers btw, we saw him in the trailers.

I'm not the best souls like player around, but this fight felt good, I love Messmer. Elden Ring also doesnt like ultrawide so there are these huge black bars around the game. Also I dont think this is spoilers btw, we saw him in the trailers.

I was looking for this, I just switched from a moonlight greatsword build to a shortbow build and I really wanted to see if someone else had the skill to beat Messmer with strictly bows. Thanks a lot!

I just wish bows had better scaling. Like this was super impressive to watch, but the fact that arrows are hitting for roughly 300 damage with the dlc upgrades factored in is just sad.
Nice try! I myself was struggling a lot with him didnt help that I was changing my build multiple times cuz of new weapons but I managed to beat him with my str build.
Idk if you found a certain bow talisman yet but its basically an enhanced version of the previous once and I cant wait to use it on one of my next runs
Bow is so fun to use but grinding for materials to craft the arrows really make me insane lol
