This song will forever be echoed in the halls of the Roundtable Hold, and it was well earned.
"I don't plan to get hit so why wear armour?" now that's a flex.
Imagine this in an anime or something. Dude steps up to this powerhouse character, wearing no armour and actively hindering themselves with a pot on their head telling all the other warriors to step back and let him fight solo. Absolute chad.
This reminds me of when I was playing Brawlhalla with my friends and used a Low-Defense character with a stance that lower your defense and raise damage.
They said I was going to die from being hit just 3 times and I answered "Yeah, but I don't plan to get hit". I managed somehow to take one live of each without taking damage.
Fun fact that is his reasoning for no armor. The pot is to honor his favorite npc Alexander
The funny thing is that the concept is almost as old as PC gaming itself.
You might be able to dig up some video clips of vanilla World of Warcraft, with undead rogues running around in diving helmets, but otherwise naked, and easily beating people in battlegrounds.
Because the game has changed so much over the years things like that stopped being quite as possible.
Even if it's not on purpose I would like to think of this as a neat little throwback to those days.

You overlooked the fact that he could easily solo Malenia with any weapon because he knows how to avoid every attack in her arsenal. Now I will admit it is kind of fair saying he may struggle with other bosses only because he does this boss most the time, but he would probably still first try the other bosses.

@@teenagesilver6512 easily, might have been a stretch true, but I still think it possible just for the reason he has learned how to avoid all of Malenia's attacks without taking any damage. Also while bleed/Rivers of Blood is the best status damage type currently, he doesn't cheat her like many players would do, using Ghiza's wheel to stunlock AND bleed her or Comet Azur would be much easier to take her out with than what he is doing.

Ok, let me just put this into perspective. There is somebody out there who consistently hitlessly defeats a super difficult endgame boss of a soulslike who is so confident they won’t get hit that they don’t wear armour. Not only that, when you fight a boss in multiplayer they have increased health to compensate, which he beats by himself. And a poor connection would mean he’s doing it at constantly different timings. And now he has a theme song. Once bards sing of you, you have achieved legend status.
To be fair, I understand that LMSH isn't wearing no armor just to show off. As I understand it (and I myself don't play Souls games), armor eats up stamina, and you need stamina to dodge. So zero armor gives him the most ability to manually dodge.

For everyone outside the loop, Let Me Solo Her provides assistants to other players that are struggling against the depicted boss. They have obtained this status in the community because the difficulty of said boss and the finesse with which they perform in the fight.

This guy has literally become a legend.

A while back , an RPG game had a combat system for its NPCs where they either blocked, face-tanked or dodged attacks made by the Player Character. Due to how efficient dodging was (no damage taken) the games NPCs basically had spider-sense and were untouchable.
The developers had to dumb down the NPC combat systems to make the game playable.
That is what I think it would be like trying to fight Let Me Solo Her.

I know Let Me Solo Her is the real star here, But God damn does that Malenia line send shivers down my spine. Especially the "I'm the Severed, I'm the Blade" set of lines. Andrea is fantastic
She really delivers some of the more powerful lines in JT's history, I like her voice
Malenia's lines made me think this was going to be some epic song of pure brutality, until they were suddenly interrupted with "I GOT A CLOTH ON MY LOINS AND A POT ON MY HEAD". that left me confused as to what just happened for about 12 seconds.

But, he comes back. And you kill him again. And again. And again.
Is it your imagination, or is he getting a bit faster? Did he get lucky or did he see that attack coming? That one should've been unexpected, but he calmly sidesteps it at lands attacks of his own while you recover.
Before you know it, not a single attack of yours is landing and he's landing every strike.
it makes me think of fighting an immortal. No matter how many times you hit them down, they get back up and learn more. after all, how do beat someone who knows you're every move.

All soulslike games are lorewise a nightmare for bosses. You essentially keep getting attacked by a random dude. And no matter how many times you kill him, he is coming back. He keeps getting stronger every time, until eventually he kills you. This is some nightmare stuff, tbh. Eternal battle that you know you can't win.

One of the most GAMER lines I ever heard, and it's true due to him helping countless players with this impossible boss with unbridled skill. This is what REAL GAMERS should look up to, not to taunt and be toxic over meaningless ranks, but to help and commune with others to take down the challenges the developers throw at us. 'To speak with skill, not words.' is a good motto to live by, to make the gaming communities less toxic and more fun.

the transition from "digger of your grave" to "i got a cloth on my loins and a pot on my head" really sells this as some dark, edgy villan coming into contact with someone who could not be taking this any less seriously.

@@candlefire3030 well that depends on how much time has past since the last game, I was making the story as if it’s been so long they forgot his real name and the legend’s name changed over time.
Could also have him become an inspirational hero to the common soldier. Add something like "he fell countless times, learning all the while, before becoming an unstoppable hero". According to him, it took 250+ attempts to beat her the first time.
