I'll never understand how WB not only let their next LotR level franchise slip through their fingers, they actively strangled it.
If WB was actively trying to kill the whole DCEU they couldn't have done a better job... Which makes me wonder if it's not sabotage? Because there is "being bad at your job" and then there is whatever the heck WB execs are doing, while still somehow maintaining said jobs...
@@qwertyCandy i somehow agree with your point. Whedon has made 2 successful Avengers movie and I can't figure out how he was able to mess this up so bad. All what was required was some edits on the movie and he rewrote 80 pages and reshoot more than half of the movie when there was no need. Like there were some perfectly good Superman scenes Snyder shot which Whedon didn't include and chose to reshot it and make the scene bad. Like even in the GCPD scene, Whedon chose to redraw the parademon drawing and in doing so reshot the whole scene when there was no need. Another example is when the team is deciding to bring Superman back, when I first watched the Whedon version the scene seemed weird, later I found that he was unable to schedule all the cast together in one shot so he shot individual scene and added them together. Whereas snyder used a continuous shot which fulfilled the same purpose as Whedons reshoot. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk

@@ebrahimmunsif the thing people need to remember is if Snyders version came out in 2017. It would have been cut down to 2 hours.
Just some additions:
One of the reasons this film is so good is because of MoS and BvS doing such a good job of creating a new Superman and Batman, both with storylines that culminate in this third film but are NOT over yet. I hope people will return to MoS and BvS again after JL and finally realize what some of us fans have been saying for a long time now: They are both amazing movies and without them, there is no JL and no pay-off. Also, both Batman's and Superman's stories are not over yet. Batman still has his personal demons he has to overcome in order to stop the apocalypse from happening and Superman, still in the black suit has to reach his full potential to become the world's greatest hero. Not just in power, but in what he IS and stands for. Both these things are going to happen in JL2 and 3 if we ever get them. Superman will be a full-on villain in JL2 (showing us the worst possible scenario) and then become the true symbol of hope in JL3, leading all of ankind, Amazons, and Atlanteans into a new era of heroes. Snyder has already said that JL3 would be a full-on Superman film with him front and center. That's why we need to #RestoreTheSnyderVerse. There is so much more to explore.

for someone who grew up with these characters and universe I really cant put to words how this movie made me happy to see THE Justice League in live action, these are my heroes.
This was very well made and wow The Snyder Cut was great
Sweet. MoS is about fathers. BvS is about Mothers. ZSJL is about family
The Flash scene is the greatest live action comic book scene we've ever seen (so far)
It's on the level of the Thor Wakanda scene and the Avengers Assemble scene to me
The arrival of Thor in Infinity War was the best part of that movie. The avengers assemble didn’t do anything for me because the movie was pretty bad in my opinion. As a whole the avengers saga of films were entertaining, funny, and well I guess entertainingly funny. They were like riding a flat rollercoaster that flashes your favorite superhero as you fly by. Man of Steel, BvS, Snyder Cut were not funny and a different kind of entertainment. Different in that it felt like you were part of the entertainment and somehow vested in the outcome. The musical score snd imagery put you in the movie. I compare the both franchises snd sagas like I do a Nine Inch Nails song called “Hurt”. The avengers are the original “Hurt” song, popular snd a good listen. Snyder’s movies and The Snyder Cut are like the “Hurt” version sang by Johnny Cash, where Mr. Cash reveals to everyone on his withered and pained face the long journey he had taken to his final resting place.The NIN version is obviously the most popular version. The Johnny Cash version although not as popular was absolutely deep and hit your core like a spear of emotion. There’s more to entertainment than the almighty dollar. There’s heart and soul and reverence to the characters in the movie snd Mr. Snyder gave us everything we wanted and much more. RIP to his lovely daughter sorry I don’t know her name and as a former Zack Snyder doubter and somewhat of a hater I thank him for his vision and hope we get more of this epic story he gave to us. #restorethesnyderverse
The Flash going back in time is the best superhero power showcase scene since the Dr. Manhattan story in WATCHMEN (Movie, not the series, Dr. Manhattan sucks there)

I tip my hat to all of you who always BELIEVED in it - there were a lot of voices, at that time, who acted like the Snyder Cut was a unicorn - an imaginary creature we wanted to believe existed but was just wishful thinking 🤔
Zack delivered an epic cinematic masterpiece here - stunning achievement - spectacular film!!
I think that quote, “if you seek his monument, look around” resonates thru the length of this film, the much criticized lingering we spend with people not necessarily our heroes. Snyder doesn’t just spend time with this world just to pad minutes onto the runtime, he’s telling us that these characters have become a part of the culture, religion, zeitgeist of this world. Those women singing to Aquaman don’t stop singing once Arthur is gone, they continue singing because his affect on them goes beyond his immediate presence. His acts have become a part of the legend of their community. He has become a part of that village’s DNA. So we listen to them sing to him, even long after he is gone. And we go for a walk with Lois as she drinks her coffee and we even get to share in listening to her EarPods lamenting, missing, mourning Clark. Because he was more than just her boyfriend. He was a part of her life she needs to hang onto. And we get to spend that time with her, feeling her pain, rejoicing in who he was, embracing her love for him. These moments are essential to the theme of the story that started in Man of Steel. I hi-light these points because the length of this film is probably the most common critique I hear of this film. And it is a critique because it is a misunderstanding on what this time with these people really is. These characters become us looking around, seeing, living, believing the monument these heroes left us.

The Snyder Cut puts Josstice League to shame. Hell, it even triumphs The Avengers, and I liked The Avengers!
On paper it’s better than avengers but avengers has something about it that makes it better, at least for me
@@cheeseisjar3058 I can see why, but for me, Zack Snyder’s Justice League is superior in terms of rich storytelling and style. It puts more focus on its characters than the spectacle. Also, each shot looks like it was ripped right out of a comic book, especially the slow motion shots.
@Slippy Frog Did we not watch the same movie? The Snyder Cut has style and substance! Did you forget about Cyborg’s backstory and his journey to accepting himself? Or what about Flash trying to gain more confidence in himself? It’s fine if you don’t like the movie, but it seems like you weren’t paying much attention to it.

This video has given me closure. Even if we don’t get more films, I’m just glad the snyderverse happened. Clark started out alone in the world, but then he found more like him. Orphans and exiles forsaken by tragedy.

I wouldn't say WB got their heads out of their asses. Especially given the comments from Hamada and others. WB was so hell bent on proving that Zack didn't know comics that now they're scrambling to save face in the OVERWHELMING support for Zack after the success of the Snyder Cut movement. Prior to watching it the first time, I marathoned through all 5 parts of this story. I went through Man Of Steel, Batman v Superman Ultimate edition, Suicide Squad extended edition, and Wonder Woman. Since then I've watched it 4 full times. Steppenwolf was wrecking Amazons, Atlantians, and the rest of the league but got BODIED by Clark, which was AMAZING. My one nitpick in a 4 hour magnum opus is during his first invasion, he was Prince Uxas from Apokolips not actually Darkseid. I'm so here for it. As has been stated, we were robbed in 2017(especially with Joker).

I did like the Batman vs superman Bruce and I get he underwent tragedy but I don’t really wanna care for the broken bat when I haven’t seen the rise of him
This Batman is loosely based on Frank Miller's Dark Knight Returns Batman, for 20 years he fought crime in Gotham City which has taken its toll, especially with Robin's death at Joker's hands, hence you have BVS were he's taken a turn for the worst, namely against the criminal underworld, and the introduction of the Superman, whose impact on the world will change his life even more.

Well done. I agree with your analysis. Unfortunately, the Synder movies do not get the respect that they deserve but if you notice most of the Synder movies have a significant UA-cam deep analysis. Unlike, the Marvel movies UA-cam rarely does deep movie analysis on the Marvel films. I think the Synder movies are more substantial with philosophical undertones that lends the movies with more thoughtfulness' than Marvel movies. Whether you like or dislike the Synder movies they will always be analyzed and stand the test of time.

Snyder’s movie was never to be a trilogy. There were two more movies he was going to make. And Wonder Woman wasn’t good. It was alright. Amazon’s who didn’t trust men. Don’t allow them on their island but yet Diane lays down for the first man she meets. And falls in love with home with no development of why. No it’s not a great movie. Let’s be real here. Patty Jenkins was mad and didn’t want Gal Gadot. She wanted to choose Wonder Woman. But after meeting her she liked Gal. Next WW84 was awful. Gal is wonderful whoever wrote it should be shoot it was all over the place. How many times are they going to bring Chris pine back? I bet Geoff John’s had his go hands in this movie and that’s why it’s not good. The best DC movies are Aquaman, Man of Steel then the Snyder cut justice league. But after what Warner bros has done I’m finished with them. Canceling my HBO account I’m not buying WW. Not watching The Flash or black Adam. I’m out. AT&T needs to fire all Warner bros executives let Zack finish and I’ll come back. Probably won’t happen so I’m gone. No need to talk about it. No need to waste my money or time with those fucks. It’s pointless. Only when they take a huge financial hit will they learn. The paying consumer is right.
