- this one took forever, mainly because i procrastinated a lot and i have hardly any motivation to create since i'm still quarantined and nothing has been changing lately. i'm not completely happy with it as always but hey, it's definitely not the worst it could be.

Maybe the singer is watching the girl of her dreams date someone else and is singing about how she could be better but wants to move on? But she’s obviously hurt from watching the love of her life being with someone else- especially cause she didn’t have all this stuff the girl wanted but she still could of loved her better.

The singer is a former sidekick/trusted friend of a slowly growing selfish hero who dropped the sidekick because they didn’t get the hero any recognition in the public’s eyes, so they were replaced with a more richer “prettier” sidekick. Who the former sidekick was childhood sweethearts with. Forgetting the history and betrayal however the former sidekick tries to improve and grows to be better in ranks than the hero 😌 sorry if this was bad.

I think this one sounds like it belongs in the scene of a movie where the character was cheated on, but they knew that their now ex-s.o wasn't a good person so they're kinda relieved. and this is playing when the character is sitting on the bed chuckling through their tears because they're sad it ended but ultimately glad it did and now sympathizes with the new s.o because they know whats coming. idk if that made any sense

I see this as the main character get their heartbroken when their s/o cheats on them. Slowly they realize they’re better of without the person, even though it hurts sometimes. Each day they work to recover and start gaining more confidence to become the person they always wanted to be, they’re finally happy again. People accept them for who they are and now they realize they don’t need that person happy, but every once in a while they remember the times they spent together and get a bit sad.
