One of the prettiest rings I ever saw (and coveted!) was a deep pine green tourmaline set in yellow gold. I was 10 at the time and am over 70 now and still remember it.

Old disabled house bound dusty rusty rockhound here:
I too have experienced such a fascination:
A softball sized faceted clear bright pink rhodochrocite crystal at the Denver Museum of Natural History in Denver, Colorado. I've never been the same since!!

@@kellyharper367 Know how you feel.... Been a rock picker-upper since I was old enough to walk. Have rocks picked up from every place I've been all over the world. Have a piece of chalk covered flint from Denmark, and one or two from New Zealand and a tiny piece of opal from Australia someone gifted me. Instead of flowers I have a crystal bowl of assorted rocks, pebbles and crystals of all colors and textures. I like to finger them and remember all the people and places I found them. I think that's one of the best things about what we like to do.

Stunning, my tourmaline collection has gotten a little out of hand, but I love this gem. My favorite is the indicolite however a nice pariaba is also at the top of my list of favorite gems.

Ahh, Paraiba! My favorite tourmaline! However, it’s pronounced, Para-eeba. The Paraiba mine in Brazil is “played out” and this beautiful color is exhausted, driving up the price. The largest one I’ve ever seen was 88 carats!
Oddly enough, it’s been recently discovered in Africa. If you were to fit the map of South America into the notch in the African map, that’s where it was discovered in Africa. It’s believed to be the same vein that was split when the two continents divided during the continental drift that split Pangea.

@@nwanyaaugustine608 I guess I am in the “gem business” in a small way. I’m self educated on gemstones and I make jewelry. I use gemstones almost exclusively because I don’t like the fake stuff but it’s getting more difficult to find good supplies.

Hi Andrew! I used to have a rubelite antiue ring but due to a Saturn return I had to sell it, sad. I like that the best of all the colors. Still waiting on your vids on ruby and ofc tanzanite which is just stunning. I have a small one set in 18kt gold.Buying more gold these days as the price is going higher and the US economy is collapsing. How've you been my friend? I have fasted & dry fasted down to a sz 2 and even my size 2 jeans are getting loose lol. But I wont give it up, it's so good for the ehalth you know? Take care doll & thx for another great video! ~~Chanel

We need to understand that being at the top of the pyramid of creation means that everything we do trickles down the structure, from top to bottom. When it reaches the bottom, the inanimate level of reality, from which everything grows, it changes it. If we ooze ill-will, it creates negative changes throughout the system, which manifest in increasingly extreme climatic and geological events.
In other words, when human relationships go out of balance, everything goes out of balance. When our relations become extreme, everything becomes extreme; when we become violent, everything becomes violent. Each summer, the ramifications of the linkage between our relations and our world become more extreme, until we acknowledge that everything that exists, exists in a connected, hierarchical system and that whoever is at the top determines the state of the rest of the system.
It is not as if previously, we were better people than we are today. It is simply that there were fewer people, and therefore fewer elements that exude ill will.
Also, relationships between people in the past were less toxic than they are today. While there are fewer wars today than ever, the levels of suspicion and alienation between people are skyrocketing, to the point where people can no longer trust their own family members. As a result, wars between countries are rarer than ever, but divorce rates, domestic violence, and violence in the community, are at an all-time high.
Even the internet, which we invented purportedly in order to connect people, is being used to abuse, deceive, and exploit people. The world-wide-web proves that everything we create, we use against others. When there is such a negative element in a system, and that element is at the top of the system, how can the entire system not go awry?
Therefore, if we want the weather to cool, the sea-level to drop, and the storms to subside, we must cool the fire and calm the storms between us. Mutual concern, mutual responsibility, or at least the knowledge that we are dependent on each other, are necessary in order to restore balance in our world at all levels, from the ground we walk on to the hatred in our hearts.
