They really do look awesome ! maybe one day I can save up for them.
However would be awesome to see a video comparison of stock brakes first and then this new kid... to see how much stopping is improved over the stock. How faster they stop and shorter distance vehicle travels before it stops .
That's a great idea, thanks
I need them ❤
forsure need this for my xterra
Wish you made the calipers in lava red to match my pro 4x accents. Looking good though!
We offer these brake calipers in red, yellow, and black, so you should be set for any color combination!
The web page for this kit states 18" wheels minimum, but in this video you say 17"
That would be for our 17" ATK-06s that will be released later this year.
It has to do with the barrel design of your wheel. I have the same calipers on my 350z. I have some 18” wheels that fit perfectly and a set of 19” that barely fit. On my duramax I have 17” wheels that fit over a similar sized caliper set but with a high clearance barrel.
Nice!
I don’t even know why I’m here. I don’t have a frontier or Xterra.
If you do look at small trucks and suvs definitely look at frontiers/xterras tho. they are VERY fun vehicles, and they’re very capable off road!
@@AmbroseBurnside1824 they look awesome I would love to pick up an Xterra someday but I have a 2500 and a z already. I definitely love what z1 is doing for the Nissan community.
I have a set of Brembo 4 piston front brakes from a Scat Pack Chrysler and now wondering if they could bolt up to the Fontier hub....
I wouldn't think so, but if they do post about it.
You can just get the pathfinder brakes. Much cheaper
Sweet! Do they fit in the 17" nismo rims?
we have not tried as of yet, there is a templet on the listing that you can print and check.
Do they clear the Nismo axis 17” rims?

This kit must have 18" rims becsuse of the size of the caliper.
Sweet, Frontier brakes suck.
they are the best for a stock midsized truck, but still could use some help
My ebrake doesn't hold my boat/trailer on the ramp when I get out to disconnect and park it on the dock... I have to leave it in drive so it doesn't slip back into the water. I have a 17 ft bay boat so there's really no excuse for how bad it is.
PS
Even without showing us real world testing, trust us, you will stop sooner, we think.
Our white D40 has been running the 2 piece rotors for some time now. They do drastically improve braking performance. They were on the giveaway truck and our White D41 as well.
@@z1off-road so let’s see a video showing the results. I don’t doubt your claims, but objective testing would prove it and the effort very likely would reflect positively in your sales.
@@Prevailingbucket that’s a great idea. Even for the z cars. I bought them for my 350z and it is an amazing difference.
