Mecha should do rapid reviews of older kits to see how they hold up today. It could be a bunch of small reviews in one video, highlighting the flaws with the builds or features that should come back.
Aquamose that sounds like a terrible idea considering a number of his reviews of older kits, he's way too harsh most of the time.....
So a whole video of Mecha bashing several perfectly good kits of their time because of how old they are?

The "Liao Ya" thing is Chinese, and it should be pronounced with a hard L sound. It translates into the science/clinical definition of "fangs", as in those two pairs of longest and sharpest teeth that we and some other animals have.
Edit: lol so someone just reminded me that those pairs of teeth are actually called canines. He's 100% right, and as an English major, I am so ashamed.

13:05 If you take a closer look, the Altron's entire arm actually separates from the body as it holds up the Dragon attachment. The assembly that connects it to the shoulder pops out of nowhere and wouldn't mechanically fit as something that is hidden inside the Altron with the intention of extending out.

I really love the Shenlong Gundam! Next to the Wing Zero it is one my favorite Gundam designs. Can't wait for you to do a GW Collection/Compilation video! That would be sweeter than a homemade apple pie with ice cream on top!!!
God, I would love soooooo much for Gundam Wing to be completely reanimated using Katoki's designs.

As a big fan of the original anime, I disagree. Bandai should make more MG units based on the original tv series.

The EW Deathscythe is my first and only MG right now, and I really would love the Shenlong, Altron, Tallgeese and other Gundam wing suits! I’m not sure if the sword accessory is really worth the p-Bandai price bump, but thanks for an awesome review- your storytelling about first moving and building the heavyarms got me nostalgic. :)
You can tell how much Gaikotsu loves a model kit when he takes the time to panel line it. I'm not even talking about the minimalist panel lines he does on kits that need to to look a little better. I'm talking about kits that build and look good and he says, "you know what? This looks amazing, and it deserves to be polished up".
i just recently bought and built the heavyarms custom, it was an incredible build, sturdy as all gupla should be. i've got most of the ew gundam's and they truly are the best.

p.s. btw, the first time he pronounced it in the video was actually a perfect pronunciation with even the tones correct. Awesome review btw.

I would absolutely love to see a review on the new released super nova deathscythe hell. It is a beautiful kit that was extremely fun to build.
And if you like one beam scythe, it comes with two and one is in a brutal shape with clear red

Wing was my favorite gundam series. If I recall correctly from my childhood, the 神龙Shenlong gundam was piloted by 张武飞，and this kit comes with the 獠牙 Liaoya system. The translation on the box is correct according to the tv series.
Shenlong was my very first MG ever, and while I had a blast building it, I was left disappointed at how the dragon arm didn't extend.

Gundam wing is one of my nostalgic shows. It was the first "anime" I ever truly seen, (minus pokemon but I don't count that). Its still one of my favorite TV series too. I would love to see the many different gunpla models

I know you already have the mg heavyarms but I recommend getting the p bandai version since it looks so good next to its movie counter part and you gotta love those guns!

I own every gunpla from gundam wing and I LOVE THEM ALL. My favorite is the Tall Geese and Epyon but I’m such a huge fan of that series and Xech was badass!
I have the ew heavy arms and I also got the mg Gundam wing with the feather effect I'm going to be painting it
OK, after seeing the wire on this kit, I'm thinking about ordering some custom PC cable sleeves from Mod-One as well as some brass wire to convert some of the kits I have. Even though I've sleeved the cables in my computer tower, it hadn't occurred to me to do the same to my kits.
Love the Vigorous Affect parts ratings. 10/10 would Vigorous again.
Throwing that humongous grappling-sword is badass as it acts like an anchor when pulled back. xD Kinda reminds me of a Mandarin action movies with unusual flying sword techniques. Still love the classic Wing Blue, Red and Yellow color scheme of it. Very nice build and its weapon variants.

Shenlong gundam is based on Chinese style armour, and "Shenlong" is 神龙 (The God Dragon) in Mandarin. The origin of Liaoya is General Guan's weapon 青龙偃月刀 (Azure Dragon Boardsword) aka Guandao from a Chinese novel "The Romance of Three Kingdoms". This Chinese novel has great influence among east Asian countries. So the Guandao weapon unit should be pronounced in the Madarin way "Liaoya" XD
I can’t say I love the Wing EW kits because I never really grew up with wing but recently I got the Master Grade Sandrock and that kit was amazing

Awesome review as always 👏 My only complaint about the Shenlong EW design is the dragon fang. If I can track down the old HG 1/100 I'd take the extending arm & put it on this guy.
When you collect all the dragonballs but a Gundam comes out of them instead.

Definitely down for a wing Gundam review series
All of the EW kits seem fairly solid. My D-scythe Hell is the only one I've had an issue with, the ankles eventually giving out with the weight of the cloak/wings. Other than that, it's all minor gripes. Heavyarms needing an additional upper left arm/elbow so you could pick between having the normal arm or the beam saber arm from the Tallgeese fight episode, or the P-Bandai Sandrock not coming with the clear red blade effect parts the standard release did.
The original shenlong was my second ever mg and put me off of mgs for months until I took another chance with the exia. Both of the shoulder joints connecting to the torso broke apart at a peghole. It's still sitting in its box unfinished.

I really want to see a review of the MG Sandrock Gundam EW version. It is my personal favorite out of the other Gundams in Gundam Wing.
My wing Gundam has dive bombed my floor more times then I can count and still in one solid piece
I got the sandrock a little while back, and i find those arms can pop off pretty easy when you're moving the shoulders in and out, because the shoulder is too tight compared to the bicep, which is pretty much just right.
I just noticed that you have a lot of old gunpla that you already built and not yet reviewed. I think it would be nice to have a review for your old built gunpla especially when you're in a hurry so that the new unbuilt gunpla have more deeper and detailed review while the old ones are still reviewed. More content and more gunplas that are reviewed the better.

The by pilot thing sounds dope for any series.
I wish we’d get MG’s of the TV version of these kits. Unpopular opinion but I’ve always preferred the TV version of Altron compared to the EW version. Both are fantastic design though.

Gundams within the Wing universe is made of gundanium alloy.
I grew up collecting the HG Wing range which were awesome, but after seeing some of your reviews, it shows how bad some certain design aspects of older gunplas. The HG Shen Long, Altron and Nataku Custom all had extending dragon fangs but just didn't hold up when fully deployed.
Maybe you could do a high grade or master grade burning gundam or shining gundam review?
The tv version on deathscyth's head is black with some white tribal decals

I recall how much I hated building some of those. Small mgs, limited articulation and balance, the deathscythe even had a flawed knee articulation and worse of all, decals to be put in round surfaces due to the katoki design cues.

Love Shenlong my 3rd fave Gundam Wing mobile Suit of that sires purely cause of that Dragon arm weapon there’s nothing more satisfying than shooting out that monster chomping down your opponents then roasting them alive 😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎. I love this version’s sword but I don’t like how it sacrifices its bad ass articulation with the Dragon arm seriously that was such an awesome feature that should never be forgotten & the evolution of Shenlong or as Chan calls him otoku that one has 2 dragon arms that twice as deadly twice as awesome. That doesn’t mean I hate this kit tho don’t get me wrong it’s I wish the arm could extend out like from the anime which was the only Gundam anime I’ve watched I don’t dislike others at all it’s I live in the uk 🇬🇧 & it showing on Toonami back when CartoonNetwork was awesome those days I missed 😢. Anyways love your reviews dude I’m very impressed on how much you put in these videos & the info you share actually helps me out a lot cause I love Giant fighting robots a lot beautifully designed armor & crazy amazingly weaponry what’s not to like 👍.

Dude the clip you showed at 13:03 was not the dragon head but the whole entire ARM extending you can see the lower arm right behind the dragon head.

Liao is a type of Chinese kung fu sabre. I'm a martial artist of the kung fu variety and have seen these types of swords, even though they are not as uh, EXAGGERATED as this Gundam type.
