Crump Files MASSIVE $500M Suit Against Beverly Hills Over RACIAL PROFILING By Police | Roland Martin

- The city of Beverly Hill, California, is facing a $500 million class-action lawsuit.
Attorneys Benjamin Crump and Bradley Gage say the city's police is notorious for racial profiling.
The lawsuit represents about 1100 people who say the Beverly Hills Police Department unjustly arrested them between August 30, 2019, and August 30, 2021.
During today's press conference, attorneys explained why they filed the lawsuit, and victims shared what happened to them.
However, the City of Beverly Hills says it welcomes everyone.

I watched a video a couple of years ago of a black man walking across the street in BH on his phone, minding his business, when 2 police officers stopped him, questioned him for no reason. He turned out to be a shoe designer for a top luxury brand. They kept questioning him for about 10 minutes and finally let him go. So infuriating to watch.
I saw that, too. I hope he joined this lawsuit!

Ok, so dude says he spend 3 days in jail after police stopped him. Really? Police just stopped you, and you did what most law-abiding citizens would do, had no warrants, didn't refuse to do what was legally asked of you (if the police were out of bounds then by all means I hope they get sued to death, and the officers fired + charged)? The guy complied with all that was asked of him but the cops thought they'd just throw him in jail for 3 days? @@TheDarkOneAOX1 Will you stop yours too? Crump IS the problem. But he may have bitten off more than he bargained for. Of any police dept, BH has the money to call his bluff and take him to trial. Trials take many, many hours of preparation, which cost a lot of billable legal hours to the defense. But this is a contingency case to be sure. Crump could walk away with nothing. We’ll see.
