My top spot, and that top spot features Maiden,Dio,Priest etc..not saying those 3 aren't my favs as they always will be..but EG changed everything..and Im a huge Sweden/Gothenburg fan. At 49 years old I truly believe they are the best..having the privilege of seeing them 3x in Ohio now and owning everything they have done I will continue to go with them on this magnificent journey. I and my twins and wife were fortunate to spend an entire evening with them after a Cleveland show in 2015..the kindest,most talented guys in the biz..Kings. so glad you are finally into them brother..they are Life..my life
The crowd singing was recorded during (i think) 3 different concerts in Sweden i November. I was at the Gothenburg show \m/
And Stockholm December 13th! It's was a great show, I know.

Hello frim Ireland.☘☘👍👍 Twas "Passing Through" that engulfed me into the Evergrey world, and I still cant understand why they are'nt as big as the deserve. I think that, the main riff is quite reminiscent to "Where August Mourns" from the last album. I feel that the song is a tad bit like their last couple of albums, especially the production. It feels like a continuation of Escape of the Phoenix. I loved your words and thoughts. Id love to see a video with you discussing all their albums, and how getting into the band has been for you.
This song is super cool and i'm loving the visuals. Also this album cover is probably my favourite of all their albums, and that's saying a lot! Cheers to you Tank, thank you for always giving us great videos and infos.🤘🏻

You are not alone Tank, I also found this video kind of cool and interesting, but also frankly distracting in an odd way - it actually threw off my first listen as well. I find the frame rate just odd, but I really like this backwards trilogy thing the guys have going on here! Also, maybe it's just me, but something about the subject matter in these 2 videos so far feel oddly timely in an uncomfortable way - and somehow that enhances it? I'm sure that's a weirdly personal take, but Evergrey's music has always felt weirdly personal to me in the best way.
With all that said, I can confidently say that after just listening to this one again without the video distracting me, it grew on me A LOT. So much so that I actually think I like this one even more now than "Save Us", and that one was outstanding from start to finish!
I've got a flight the day this album comes out, can't wait to binge it multiple times while in the air!
I liked more this music than "Save Us". Tom's voice is incredible. This band is such underreated

At last video, where you reacted Evergrey - Save Us, i told about a band from Denmark call Pyramaze. I don't know if you listened them, but You should listen them, where Jacob Hansen play guitar since 2011.
I know that Pyramaze's keyboard player, Jonah Weingarten, has also played with Teramaze, and did a tour with MindMaze.
There's a connection there somewhere, I am amazed that I haven't spotted it yet 🤔 😆

I have some “Hardcore,” 🙄 metal head fans that don’t like them anymore because they say they’ve gone soft…but I disagree, I think they’ve matured and have more experiences to write songs about. Plus, battling depression as I do, songs like Stay With Me hit harder than anything I can head bang to.
But yeah, definitely one of my all time favorite bands and I still feel own they’re under appreciated lol!
Anyway, it wouldn’t do for you to “react,” to stuff you e already heard lol. I was just curious what you thought about the band…new album out later this year, though!!!
Was not entirely sold on his one, but I really liked the last one they released though so looking forward to the next album.

I've never heard this band before, thanks tank for introducing me to another band to explore. I am seeing a huge similarity between evergray and Moroccan metal band Myrath. and I am wondering if they were inspired by evergray and other bands like this?

I think the 50 frames is probably supposed to make you feel uncomfortable. Kind of like how uncanny valley does.

I like this song more than Save Us however like Save Us I can't watch the video this frame rate hurts my eyes
Onestly is a good song but not one of the best song of Evergrey, but the chorus is damn cool 😉👍 unique band!

Regardless of Evergrey's video, 50 frames is one of the most ridiculous video settings. Everything looks so fake and soap opera like.
