Concerning Arthur Polishuk’s book, I purchased my copy directly from Mr. Polishuk at an NLGI meeting more than 17 years ago. He had a table and was selling them. I just checked on its current availability, and it is apparently out of print. However, if you can find an old fashioned book store that specializes in rare and hard to find books, they might be able to help you. Also, some large libraries might be able to help. Specifically, the Linda Hall Science Library in Kansas City, MO might be worth contacting. They are one of the leading science libraries in the world. I hope you can find a copy at a reasonable price. It really is a valuable source of information.
When are you going to do something on two stroke oils? There is a lot of chainsaw operators out there whose only guidance is from the marketing branch of oil companys. If you are running saws all day, oil cost and performance can be very important.
