Returned mine yesterday!! Found out the hard way that the breaks failed. Sometimes they worked sometimes they don’t. Not a safe scooter by a long shot.

I found one and i bought the official charger but i noticed that the battery level only goes to the 3rd bar and battery dies after like 10 mins of use is that normal?
The gotrax Rival is the adult version from Walmart the G2 is more based for kids but it still does 15.5 mile an hour for 15 miles which is the same as the gotrax Rival
I just got one for my daughter but we tried to use it and wont start, ( It is not fully charged) the question is does it need to be fully charged for the first time cause I just tried after I open it and it didn’t work
Same when I charged it the green light was on like it was fully charged on the charger and it was an official charger from GOTRAX although the scooter was pre used so maybe I need a new battery
Overall it's a great scooter, it's nice design and looks great. Mine did have turning issues where it'll lock up and will not steer straight. Company didn't warranty it, they had like 90 warranty at the time. I would suggest having a 3rd party warranty backup...
@@XENNIALLife I found a nearby Walmart selling it for $198. They were the only store carrying electric scooters near me. I bought their three year warranty with it. I have only gone a mile or two so far, but I like it. My legs were sore after though.
@@Wynner3 haha hopefully ya won't get the bug. G2 is a great choice for surface streets but I later got gotrax APEX which had better tires/ suspension. Then I went to bigger Evercross 800w with seat---then comes EBIKES ugh.

I have already been bitten because I started looking at off road long range scooters with seats. 😬 I think I need to learn more about turning the scooter before then.
It says don't return to the store. What the Heck that is why I shop at Walmart for a place to return it. I bought a Ebike online and the switch was defeative and my warranty wasn't worth the paper it was written on so I ended up fixing it myself. My point is don't rely on the vendor that sold it to you. Shop at your own risk.
The vendor always tries to get you to go through them to fix the problem. It costs them more if you return to the store. But that's their problem to deal with, if you get a faulty unit just return it.

You will get resistance for sure. You can do it but you'd get tired real quick.

it’s ok. only 200 watts of power so don’t expect the best hill climbing power.
this is more for street and paved roads. nothing more because of solid tires with no real suspension.
