😂 the insane diss with that robo voice 😂
it was so spot on and hilarious. :-D
😂😂😂
Ahahahahahaha
That part absolutely broke me lol
Ye i hate those vids
Glad that 900$ is a honorable mention lol. Budget friendly to me is 150 -300$
Way better scooters out there for the money mention in this video!
Electric scooter mechanic here, one warning about the KQI2, if those tubeless tires go flat it's basically impossible to get a new tire to seat on the motor.
Even with compressed air? -Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide Yes. if the rider puts any kind of mileage on a tire that's gone flat on the motor, the motor will deform and make it much harder to seat the bead. My shop usually recommends a solid tire replacement.
@@breezeman120 or you could do it your self so you can cut and reuse the the old tread inside the new tires and ride away laughing at the guy next too you that was one step behind
ISINWHEEL s9 max, 10.4 AH claimed. Mine now has nearly 350 miles on it. 500w 750 peak. It goes up hills well, top speed is 20mph. I've rode it a total of about 15 miles in a single charge here in KC which is hilly. Still had two bars of power left. Anyway highly recommend . I ride this scooter 5 days a week. About 5 miles a day. So far I haven't noticed any degrade in battery or performance. My only complaint is the scooter doesn't like rain. Gets glitchy after riding in rain until it dries out.
Very insightful! Thanks for sharing. -Vosk
I appreciate the help and this is definitely gonna help narrow down my list
Awesome! Which one are you leaning towards. -Vosk
My Favorite time of year! Cheap Scooter time!
I'm waiting for the Roadrunners to have a more confidence-inspiring IP rating, but this one i would want. Great review!
*_Another great list of budget electric scooters properly studied and tested by the team. Great job, guys! Though most (or all?) of the scooters mentioned are not available in my place, it's still a pleasure to watch. You can repeat doing this everyday and I'd keep watching. Cheers and ride safe always!_*
Thanks so much for saying that! We will continue to do our best. -Vosk
great job thanks for teaching us just a little bit more about the more affordable scooter ❤ keep on riding.❤
Our pleasure! -Vosk
Late to the game and I know prices change constantly, but I feel I couldn’t pass up on the 559$ from my local BB for the Niu KQi3 Pro. Just looked today and they got it back up at 799$ 😮. So far it has been living up to all the positive reviews it got 👍🏽🤙🏽
I did the same thing, love mine. Wish it was a taaaad faster, and didn't take so long to charge, but damn is it fun!
Excellent reviews... this is how its done! Thank you...
Thanks for watching! -Vosk
Great help! Thank you! 🥰
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you for the review give me a few to think about. I own a vsett 10+r and sometimes its a bit much so nice to see a good alternative👍👊💪❤️🤔
It’s fun to have a lighter and less expensive scooter around some times! -Paul
ok, that moment at 0:25 is so funny and brilliant at the same time!
Ha ha! Thanks so much! -Paul
Great selection of scooters, and legitimately tested.
Thanks!
Thanks so much for the kind words! -Vosk
Atm I'm using a s2 Pro, bought it on sale. So far its pretty reliable. The range is good for theprice point, once in a while the tires remind me just how stiff they are 😅 yet id still choose solids for my commute! I have several scoots.
Awesome! Enjoy your new ride. -Vosk
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide Thanks 😊
Good stuff, thanks
Glad you enjoyed it
Thanks Paul for this great breakdown! It is good to see videos that cover all segments of the market especially the biggest segment. I would put the Inokim Light 2 at $699 in this category. The Inokim Light 2 is faster than most of the scooters here and more portable with great dual drum brakes. Inokim also has outstanding build quality. In addition, they replaced the rear tire with a solid tire so much fewer flats and generally the same okay ride comfort. I also think the E-Twow GT and Mosquito should be considered since they have also had price drops and would stand-up well with any of these scooters. I find it curious why people want wider handlebars on vehicles going at these speeds. You should be turning more with body weight adjustments and very tiny movements of the handlebars. I have never had any instability or wobble issues with narrow handlebars as long as you know how to turn properly and have good stem geometry. At 25mph or less you don't need MTB wide handlebars to turn properly or cruise easily at top speed.
Thanks so much for your support! -Paul
Very cool! Thanks for stopping by and your years of support. Stay Safe. -Vosk
Yea I have 0 issues with narrow handlebars on these entry level scoots. Than again my very first ride was the es4!
very useful video, thanks :)
Glad it was helpful!
pre ordered my e2 plus yesterday n cant wait, it looks pretty sick for only 639$ au gonna be my first e scoot at 29
Awesome! Enjoy your scooter! I hope it arrives soon! Glad you got the plus! -Paul
Hey Rider Guide, need advice: I've had two flats in two days on my Vsett 9+ (thorns I guess), should I try solid tires on it? Tire changes are so expensive here, I think it makes more sense to downgrade to an E2 Plus at this point for the solid tires alone. Great list by the way!
Not sure they are compatible but if you can that would eliminate all flats.
Isn’t that great when you find a video with the right information and just what you’re looking for ! In a professional presented video, good quality good content 🥇🥇🥇🥇 great video !! 🏆
Glad it was helpful!
For me TurboAnt x7 max is the best and cheapest buy. I did change the sport mode into 15 mph to get more range and im getting 18 miles per charge and i have extra battery for easy swap so 36 miles total range.
Very insightful! Thanks for sharing. -Vosk
I have a uscooter booster sport and my girl got a unagi classic and were gonna get twin turboants but were worried that it wouldn't b as portable to carry..she already doesn't like carrying or leaving her scooter outside lock or no lock whenever we go into stores or a plaza..hopefully it'll b better once I get some carry bags with rollers on em or if we go for fluid horizon for a lil more cash that have dolly wheels
Awesome!
I just purchased a cheap scooter... A brand new Dualtron Mini Mk 2, (17.5 Ah). I got it for the Great price of £800, (approx $987). Considering it was around £1200 not that long ago... I believe I got myself a Bargain !
Thanks for watching and for letting us know about your favorite cheap scooter! -Paul
Hey love your shows I been getting some great ideas on my newest scooter honestly though the thing I like to look for in scooter besides price, range and mileage would be if it has good turn signal lights. Could you do a review or add that to your list of things to know about the scooters? Thank you for the knowledge that your sharing. Keep up the great work otherwise
Glad you like them!
I didn't want to spend too much just to try it out, so I purchased a cheap one for $599 (reg. $899) called the EVERCROSS H5 that can carry up to 330lbs (150kg), so an adult, helmet, pads, prayers, etc. Max. speed is 28 mph (45 km/hr), and many youtubers say they feel safe going 20mph (32 km/hr). It comes with a Seat for long journeys, or the bracket can be removed to give more floor-space.
Very cool! Thanks for sharing. -Vosk
I love yall's videos. I was wondering if yall could do a video over Evercross H5? Thank you!
No plans currently!
I got evercross 10k pro about 4 months ago and thumbs up. Sure it's not a segway, Yada Yada but wow it's impressive to me. I imagine the H5 same as in just fine and then some.
Hey love your videos. I need help with a decision. Niu KQ3i Pro or Segway G30LP. IM 6ft 220lbs. Subscribed.
We would go with the Niu! -Vosk
I am so glad that it also says prise i gbp
My e2 will be delivered tomororw 🥳 i dont care if its slow. I just need something to save on gas to get me to work
We’re amazed that it’s possible to get a Segway-Ninebot at this price! Let us know how you like it! -Paul
if your a lighter rider like me about 130lbs the ninebot d18w is pretty good for the price I did get the top speed to go more than 15mph i would say the range is a little on the short side so I would go with the d18u instead
Thanks for the feedback!
Did you review the normal hiboy s2 or the pro?
S2 is in this video! Thanks for stopping by. -Vosk
Really love your videos, and the support they provide with real in depth reviews on scooters. I’ve been looking into a scooter, and not looking for the best of the best, but some peers recommend the hi boy s2 pro for the 500 watt motor, and features it brings. Though I am starting to like the recommended pic you mention on here as you did in 2022 review which was one you stet to recommend. It has a less powerful motor and heavier, but you mentioned reliable 2 year warranty, and that’s a big incentive for me $ wise.
This do you or anyone recommend the hi boy s2 pro to start? Or even something lightly used with warranty?
S2 Pro is a great starter scooter! -Vosk
May I ask you another question. Are 8.5 inch fat tires better then a 10 inch scooter the hi boy s2 pro has? From you experience reviews.
This is the best out of all Im definitely getting it 3:02
Thank you 😄
Thank you for watching and commenting! -Paul
Great video. Still confused tho. Need suggestion. My criteria: Budget $500, my office is about 6 miles (12-15 miles regular use), light weight because my house is at 2nd Floor, terrain relatively flat, beginner friendly.
Several great options under $500 like the Segway E2 plus or Niu KQ12
Regards, Bro. Please, can you review QMY Electric Scooter? Thank you
Not in the current plans unfortunately!
This is actually the most clutch channel ever needs more subs
Thanks so much!
What is the repairability and the accessibility of parts like tires and brakes for replacement in the future for different brands?
Can any of the batteries be swapped and what’s the typical lifespan?
Depends on the brand but they are getting better and more accessibility. -Vosk
The only thing i hate about gotrax, is the ability to get it up and down takes A LOT more work than the simple snap into place which most others have now. I won't go back to Gotrax until they have have the snap up and down. I hated having to literally go onto my hands and feet and try and get the lock just right to fold it. Though my Gyrocopters 3.0 has no water proofing, it's literally 2 seconds up and down and has battery issues, i'll never go back to my Gotrax.
I wish the G3 stem latched down the way the Unagi does, rather than latching to the plastic rear fender. I didn’t have time to go into all that in this short video, but that’s one of the things I was thinking of when I mentioned that the build quality is revealing of its price. -Paul
I just bought the GoTrax Elite Max and it folds down easily and locks in place so I can carry it upstairs. However, if you twist the handlebar while it's folded (a weird thing to achieve but I managed to) it will pop out of the latch. Otherwise, it works great.
Great video!! thanks for that.
I was confused between buying the Turboant X7 Max and NIU KQi2 Pro. X7 max has higher speed and has a higher range, while KQi2 pro has a better build quality and offers 2 years of warranty. Both are available at exactly the same price. Are there any more significant differences between the two? I am not able to pick one over the other.
I really like the ride quality of the NIU. If you think you’ll miss the higher speed of the X7 Max (you might) then there’s always the KQi3 Pro! -Paul
When do we get Paul on an EUC!?!? I'm so curious as to his opinions as a former motorider.
Also G30lp can be found for around $500, it's probably the most durable for that price.
We don’t think we will have Paul on a EUC anytime soon. He is not replaceable and we need him on one piece. -Vosk
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuideI'll settle for a video of Ramier learning to ride one if he doesn't already.
So out of these which one would you rank the best like No. 1?
I'm moving to the states next year and I'm getting one
Honestly they are all great for a beginner scooter! Thanks for stopping by. -Vosk
Thank you! This definitely helped me decide on one!
Which one did you get ? -Vosk
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide The Turboant X7 Max!
Thank you so much for this great video. So, I live in Dallas and I want a scooter to take me to my Gym which on google maps is 5 minutes on bike. Which most affordable one would you recommend based on my situation?
Most one the list should be fine for you!
I have to say I think the aovopro es max out does the niu kqi2 pro for approximately the same price...(I got the aovo for 399 on ebay) It out performs it for me, I was surprised, because the kqi2 pro is really really good...but the aovo has equal power, battery, and brakes, but with full suspension...the kqi2 has the advantage of a better warranty, a britgher headlight, and ...it just looks cooler...but I pick the aovopro...it's perfect for me...smoother ride...
We have not tested that brand yet! -Vosk
Aww, still kinda sad that Xiaomi's already fallen by the wayside. I still use mine because of its inherent reliability, but one has to agree that there are way more modern equivalents in 2023, especially those with insurance and other add-ons that make them more comfortable to ride.
Yeah, it was so strange of them to sideline a scooter at the height of its popularity. -Paul
Imo not sad at all if you look at all its inspired, especially from segway and hiboy! Some solid clones out there! 😅
My pro 4 is a gem! Love it
⚡🤙🏼🤙🏼⚡
*Nice lineup!*
Thanks so much! -Paul
Thumbnail is hilarious 😂
Got two ok cheap scoots for errands. an "ezscooter" for 300, 20lbs (!!!), 250w, 12mph, 8-9 mile range (they said 12 but we all know how that goes) no suspension etc, not great build quality. When it finally busted, I replaced it with a Caroma, $200, 25lbs, 250w 12mph, 8-9 miles range, better build quality and teensy bit more powerful. I've a 40lb faster better made ride for fun.
Thanks for telling us about your cheap scooter finds. I'll look those up. -Paul
I gotta admit the m365 line is still fantastic in 2023
So true those best channel with the Ai voices lol 😂
Doyon guys record any cheap scooters found at Amazon? if so witch ones you know are available there...Do you happen to have a video about "Recommended Amazon scooters"...you guys are great and super helpful
Interesting idea! We might do one
I feel if you mentioned the Apollo air you should have also mentioned the Fluid Freeride Mosquito
We did review that scooter and it is a excellent value for sure. -Vosk
@RiderGuide hey guys, have you ever tested the Circooter Raptor. Looking for more information on this model. Thanks in advance.
We haven’t tested that one. I’ll look it up. -Paul
Ok, I had a look and don’t recognize the company or the design. I’d definitely be wary of buying from a brand that may not have warranty support or even parts available if something breaks.
Their own site warns that there are circooter sellers out there who sell and run.
Can you tell me on what you think on the recent volpam scooter
We have not tested that brand!
Do you think the G3 plus is better for hill climbing over the turboant x7 max? I’m around 140 pounds
Very similar! We would go for the gotrax! You can grab $25 off with code RIDERGUIDE25
Hi whats your opinion on the vsett 10 20.8ah
It's an amazing performance value, one of the best. I really like the Klima also, for performance and value. -Paul
Would the M365 still be on this list if it was available in the US? I live in Australia so the M365 is still an option for me.
Amazing! Is it the base model or one of the later versions (pro, Mi 3?)? Depending on the price, it could still be on the list! How much is it in Australia! Thanks so much for commenting! -Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide Currently the Xiaomi scooter 4 is available for $999 AUD, however second hand xiaomi's are about $500 AUD.
I have a 1S and it's going strong.
Weird question but if I can get a used Vsett 9+ for $800, how would it compare to the Segway Max G2 in terms of speed, range, climbing hills, etc?
Unfortunately we've never tested the 9+ or we'd have the numbers for you. We should test it though because you're not the first to ask for numbers on that one! -Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide have you guys tested the yadea elite prime scooter? It’s also on indiegogo. Looking at the comparison they provide, it’s almost neck and neck with the Max G2?

Not currently! Really low priced
would like to know why you think s2 is the best value than the other versions. I recently purchased the s2 and am having buyer's regret cause am wishing I bought the pro instead. Are my worries for nought?
It’s an excellent value!
Sir, Shopping for a scooter can be overwhelming. I would like a scooter with 10" wheels that will fold and fit in a truck. I will only ride 2 miles a day. Thanks for any recommendations.
The list is the best top choices!
Is there a scooter that could perform in colder weather? I live in Michigan and am considering a scooter for work commuting.
How cold are you referring to?

We have not looked into that!!
Gx1 ninjas!!!! Best for 1k no doubt
What's your view of the Anyhill UM-2?
Good starter scooter!
Is it true Mercedes AMG is coming out with a E scooter? Thanks!
I’ve heard of Mercedes scooters, Bugatti Scooters and even Ducati scooters, but so far they have all been fairly ordinary scooters with a fancy logo on them. -Paul
This feels like a life saver for me. I'm struggling to get a business off the ground, relying on a 20 year old Econoline van (that gets 4 miles to the gallon) to get me around town because my sedan broke down last year, but now that van had some major problems start up. It makes me sick to my stomach thinking about having to throw money at the thing. This is an amazing option I wasn't aware of that can realistically replace most of my driving with an ultra-affordable option that will work even slightly outside the bounds of a city in greater-suburbia. I have a feeling, beyond the money saving, as a former street skateboarder who specialized in deft navigation of tricky city streets, this will be very natural feeling. Thank you!
Thanks for stopping by! -Vosk
I have a GoTrax Elite Max and notice that at rest the throttle moves smoothly but it's slightly jerky when in motion. Is this normal, or could it be a suboptimal unit?
That is normal!

what do you think of the sisigad b18a?

No plans for it unfortunately! -Vosk
When you test your scoooters mile range, do you test it by driving it yourself or do you put it on eco mode, weightless and single motor wheel mode? This is very important for me to know.
Top speed mode and I drive myself!
One thing I don’t get is what do you mean when a regen break recharges your battery like how does that work pls explain
Regen brakes are electronic brakes. So it basically engages the motor as a generator rather than a motor, and uses the energy from slowing you down to recharge the battery. Depending on the scooter it will recharge a litte or a lot. Some scooters have an electronic brake, but don't bother putting the electricity back into the battery because the energy arrives too fast for the battery to absorb it. Some scooters with larger batteries are able to capture more of the energy.
One experiment we have never done is to range test a scooter with 0% regen and 100% regen for all of the stop signs and see how that impacts the range (what % different if measureable). -Paul
Which is better the Turboant x7 or unokim light 2?

Touring for the win! Better suspension , longer deck
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide A better RIDE, probably. But that doesn't actually make it a better VALUE at more than twice the cost!

You can push it but won’t be fun!
@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide for where I live, it's like hill from peppa pig, so I'm excited to go down it when riding!
i got one of those chinese escooters, the battery kept gradually losing charge, after around 2 years now its barely usable, i can't even go anywhere the battery just dies on me. I tried various chargers, no dice.
Which scooter did you buy?
The most important thing with lithium ion batteries is to never let it sit at low charge for a long time. It’s not the best to store it at 100% charge either, but storage at low charge (

Okay realistically, I've been looking for a scooter, but I am 6 '1" 240 lbs , I have a fat tire folding ebike 500w get me 29 mph consistently. I don't need to go that fast on a scooter , what would be a good scooter for a bigger guy that's going to be honestly under $700 if that's possible? Keep in mind I live at the beach it's completely flat there are no Hills. Is it possible for a bigger guy like me to get a good quality scooter that will go a decent speed? I'm 5 miles from my work I'm sure I could find something that will get me back and forth if I wanted to do that, any help would be great , got the ebike I'm looking for a scooter if not maybe I'll just get another e-bike , cool video thanks for the info anymore to my specifications would be very much appreciated
