Brings tears & chills up my spine. Just stunningly gorgeous. Thank you for keeping the spirit alive.Cindy
Thank you all so much for playing this great tune , you all are amazing just love the music and vocals, this music will live on far after we are gone. God bless you all.
I grew up on this kind of music. Beautiful job! Makes me feel so good!!
Absolutely love it. Thank you for preserving our precious musical heritage in such a fine way.
I'm a professional musician and I've heard many renditions of this old song, but this is THE BEST.
Great version and performance. The best rendition of this song (along with the one on Big Hoedown's cd) I've ever heard. The twin fiddles and harmony really bring those ol' cowboy days ringing back. Thanks for posting.
Absolutely beautiful! The dissonant minor sound or tuning of those violins is really haunting. Great job!
Thanks for this beautiful song. The twin fiddles and de voices sounds great.
I LOVE this version. It seems truest to the older versions that I know of the song. Beautifully played and sung. Too bad the front of the video got clipped off. Please consider re-recording it sometime.
It’s very important that we have people to pass on these songs and memories. Bruce and Brittany are hugely important in my opinion. There’s many others too doing these traditional fiddle tunes and melodies. Many thanks to these musicians.
I saw Bruce play this live in Findhorn, Scotland, and it has inspired me to learn to play fiddle. Many thanks, Bruce, love from my neighbours :D
Very nice. This is a childhood favorite song. A beautiful rendition.
What a beautiful song I have always loved it.
Proper goosebumps harmonies there. Really beautiful.
I´d love to get a chance to make a re-recording when they return for a new gig in Sweden.
The fact is that I was not quick enough to start the camera, which I also find annoying. Thanks for commenting!
Thank you for posting, I have been looking for this version.
How very nice. I love this kind of music.
Best version I've heard. It inspired me to learn it on banjo.
absolutely perfect just as was intended such joy
Love it! Reminds me of America in far better days
The lady in the Blue Sweater is a Doll. A sweet lil Doll. I'm totally in love with her. What A lil cutie. Gosh I come watch her all day.
So Good. First heard it in the film Shane, that happy interlude with the farmers dancing before doom struck. Poignant.
"So,you're Wilson"? "What about it Shane?"
i'm thankful for every second of this video - - thank you Redovisarn.
