Ozark isn't a bad little town but the country doesn't really start to get pretty until you're about 9 miles south of town. Beautiful hill country that is what most people picture "The Ozarks" being like.
i live here in the uk and have just bought some land there in the missouri ozarks, shannon county, so i can build a holiday home there when i finally get over there to meet my birth dad for the first time :D xx
Shannon county is considered the most authentic county of the Ozarks. It's like going back a hundred years. They kept most of the traditions that are long gone in other parts of the Ozarks.
As someone who lives in Ozark Missouri, this video is so weird to watch, I’ve been to everyone of the places it showed in the video... the video almost feels like an out of body experience.
@@jv-ee7ks Nowhere is there a good let alone great place to live on minimum wage. I ca say Ozark being 5 minutes south of Springfield on US Highway 65 you can find a job that pay $10 or more pretty easily.
Yeah. It's different being from the inside looking in.. try imagining looking at these places like you would the Grand Canyon, Hawaii, or Alaska.. that's how some of us see it. We're not from there and dont live in the area so its exciting and new.

A large chunk of the land would be used for growing things like millet and other feeds the rest to house the animals and attempt to grow enough food to be self sufficient.
Might be moving to Ozark by next month God willing!! I have a little one, what is the community like? Is it friendly? Crime? Coming from Denver, so a bigger violent rude city lol (not New York rude)….
None. Besides these, you have Evangel, MSU, Drury and Bryan Univ. In Springfield and SBU (in Bolivar I believe)
The best reason to live here is because Marty will invest money into your business to get it off the ground the economy is great here

I found out this tv show called Ozark which is very goood; so I wanted to see if Ozark is real city.
CECC0 that show is amazing
It's not a city. It's an area of land. Oklahoma, Missouri, and Arkansas are all partly in the ozarks.

What's land typically cost up on the plateau? I'd love to build a small homestead in the Ozarks!

It's on average about 32 degrees all winter, sometimes higher, sometimes lower, not much snow
Xue Lee very random you never know what your going to get. One week it may be 50 and the next zero. Snow one week and dry for them next month.
COLD AND COLDER
About 2-3 days of snow tops. Temps are in the 30s and 40s. Mild winters overall.
I've been living in ozark for 6 an 1/2 years
