I don't understand why the voices are worst than the original game no excuse for it...or why they didn't go with a bigger cart size. At least they did for SOR1 to 2, look at the monumental difference that made.
"You can play a tornado barbarian, a hot fire amazon or a meteoric dwarf. You must slash all monsters you see . You want to play ? - DAMN I WANT TO PLAY ! " There were so simple and easy times...
What I find odd is that some versions of the theme don't have that bit. I really don't know why, because every cartridge of this game I've played has it.
Why do I find these soundtracks better than the games nowadays...? I wonder if they were really composed with more "heart" on them compared to today's games, or maybe people were more creative, or maybe it's just the opinion of an older guy who is emotionally biased...
It mostly sounds like cinematic scores and ambiance now. It was more unique back in the day. And it still was come the next generation with certain games like FF7. I think in many cases music takes a backseat to much else in games.
@@johnny_roots "chiptune" is the modern term used for music composed with (usually) older soundchips, many from the bit generation of gaming systems (8-bit, 16-bit, 32-bit, etc.). Generally has a very electronic "tin can" quality to it.
They don't write game songs like this anymore. It also makes me think of scenes from fire and ice 1983, a couple of those scenes and this song would make a good home brewed music video imo.
Not bad considering Golden Axe 2 was a System 32 game...not even Playstation or N64 would be able to pull off a arcade perfect port. So good job on the Megadrove version. They should've made a Saturn version which wouldve been a perfect conversion.
Golden Axe II on the MD bears no relation to Revenge of Death Adder. It basically just a rehash of the original. But I agree that Revenge of Death Adder should have been ported to the Saturn.
"bleah!!!"
haha nice shout
*SLASH SLASH SLASH* BLEHHH

I laughed really, really hard.
I laughed way to hard at this lol
Such an incredibly underrated soundtrack
Indeed!
it's not underrated. It's actually first and probably the best track in the game. Also Ruins
Why do people keep saying things are underated when they clearly are not? o.O
@@00Kuja00 cus its got 20k views when some bigger game soundtracks get millions
@@Chris-jg3km Unknown is not the same as underrated. I just think it's the age that is showing.
best song in the game who agrees

One of the best pieces of music on the Genesis. Straight up. 🔥
👍
BLEH! 👍
Such drama and passion running through this! That's how you open up a game on the first level!

This is beautiful it brings man tears into my eyes 😭
The good guys gotta win 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
I'm both amused and happy that the number 1 thing people remember about this track was the "BLEH!!" cry the mobs make when they die.
These were the massive tunes from the games of the past!
**rides the dinosaur creature** :D
Kickosaurus
**gets thrown off it after taking two steps, the creature runs away**
Every NPC in the game: *"Ya know what? I'm just gonna run at this guy and football tackle him"*
**Loses dinosaur**
The nostalgia... omg it’s so much
*“BLEH!”* 😖☠️
0:59 love how it loops back to that part

Save the old man who's been hang on the tree
Where's the incentive? 😁

Good chiptune are usually quite memorable as you can hear individual instruments
@@robertbektas1810 sorry, I didn't get it, were songs like these composed or played like that? What is chiptune?

I appreciate finally hearing the CORRECT loop, as opposed to the one from the poorly compiled Project 2612 .vgm.
Y'know, I brought it up like a decade ago.....but no one believed me
Imagine being that picky lmao
Good synthesizer lead
It deserves a remastered version!
Or a jazz version? ua-cam.com/video/ZLwUFqP_4Vs/v-deo.html
I walk down the street doing a 4 sprite animation everytime my cell plays this tune.
My nephew complained about the choppy walk when we played this last year! Just appreciate it! 😋
I do a running dash and shoulder tackle the nearest dude across from me, and then he goes *"BLEH!"*
SLASH SLASH SLASH BLEHHH!
**books dude on the head with with sword hilt**
**picks him up and throws him**
This is magical. ✨
The gang is back, and they're ready to kick evil right in the face *AGAIN.*
Is it just me or the music sounds like something from a 1980s fantasy film.
Arnie's Conan the Barbarian? That was the general idea!
Konami was inspired by _The Predator_ with some of their *Contra* tracks!

Sacrée Nostalgie. Ça me rappelle mon enfance, ma jeunesse. J'ai trop aimé ce soundtrack 💖💯
Need to get the team that did streets of rage 4 to do golden axe.
