You make it look easy, but there were no pushrods installed when you removed the head! It's a bit more difficult if the pushrods are in, because the head won't lift off over them very easily. Still a great video, though. I'm doing the same work to my iron barrel Bullet at the moment.

Will buy the gasket (also noticed that the tappet cover gaskets are also completely shot, will be changing that as well... Would have been nice to have any recommendations on what kind or brand of gaskets to use... Also I'm expecting reassembly with tappet rods in place and setting up tappets could be interesting for me as an amateur...

I have checked vaccum leaks at the carburetor joining but I couldn't find any. Do you have any clues what could be the reason??

Use Enfield genuine gasket for best results it would cost around 100 rupees

Gasket should of been heated up cherry red, then dropped into water before fitting.
It will leak continuously if not!
That is true if you plan to reuse copper gaskets or washers. New they should seal from the package.
