They may pull the rugs, but the youth in Nigeria isn't giving up. They are building APIs and stronger banking systems than traditional banks. Fluttwrwave, Paystack, Moniepoint etc are doing exceptionally well than most traditional banks. It's awesome hearing from your wisdom Sir, we move!

That's part of what he is saying. Fintech and creative are new areas. The reason the young folks can still survive there.

They pull the rug out of our feet (youth) we make a new rug that is more unique than theirs and walk majestically on it like princes and princess, whether they like it or not it’s the time for the younger ones it’s better they just embrace it or get pushed out when we get there on our own.

Nigerians will never fail to deliver. REALLY? I can't believe this is coming out of Atedo's mouth; that the Nigeria system is rigged against younger generation. For real? When you were MD/CEO of IBTC, you put a system in place (which was only adopted by IBTC then) that your organization only employ a resource with a minimum of 2:1 (Second Class Honours, Upper Division), a Masters degree holder and the applicant must not be more than 25 years of age. To be shortlisted for interview, applicants must meet all these requirements. How do you rig a system against younger generation than this? I guess you were empowering them right? And yes it is true that our current leaders don't want the younger generation to meet them at the top and I am sure that was exactly your intention. I likened you to someone who was empowered to climb to the top with a ladder and on getting to the top pushed the ladder down so that other cannot climb. It's a true statement that you built a very formidable Bank, but it was all built on the back of the younger generation whom you created such a strong barrier to start and compete

Stanbic ibtc gives loan to peterside and his family only. It's one of the worst banks in Nigeria.
